Reviewed Aug 19, 2026This was one of my favorite air bnb bookings, it exceeded all our expectations. It’s light, airy, the view of the lake is unbeatable and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Really gratefully for the warm welcome and beautiful stay. Very clean and tidy
No criticism of the accom but the road to the accommodation is extremely potholded- keep in mind if in a hire car to ensure it will do the track

Reviewed Feb 16, 2024Refugio del Lago is a real gem. The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped. They are serviced daily. The location is brilliant, the view is outstanding. They have kayaks that you can use and the whole family enjoyed them.The hotel is family run and Armen and his parents Ruben and Lucy were exceedingly welcoming and professional. There are great barbeque facilities right on the lake edge. I would strongly recommend.
I really don't have anything negative to say, maybe that the kitchen didn't have a pair of scissors.
