De locatie was geweldig. Zeer rustig en toch vlakbij verschillende steden. Het ontbijt was lekker met veel keuze en zelfgemaakte producten. Maar vooral de host was geweldig: supervriendelijk en steeds klaar voor al je vragen.

Super warme gastvrouw die veel tips gaf ivm restaurants en uitstapjes. Heel huiselijke B&B met een stukje zelfgemaakte taart in de namiddag, veel zelfgemaakte producten bij het ontbijt! Prachtige tuin met heel veel gezellige terrasjes. We komen zeker terug!

Vriendelijke host en mooie locatie

Il n'y a rien à dire tout est parfait. l'accueil est exceptionnel, le cadre est bucolique et les chambres sont aménagées avec beaucoup de goût. 👍

The setting was beautiful and there was a nice outdoor area for sitting and relaxing.

When a place calls itself a B&B, it's assumed that breakfast is included, but the host charged 19 euros per person for breakfast (it was pretty good, but certainly not worth 19 euros each). Since the place is located in a tiny village, there were no other options. The host also had a bizarre rule, which I've never encountered anywhere else in the world -- she prohibits eating and drinking in the rooms! The air conditioning was barely adequate to keep the room comfortable, and there were no air-conditioned public spaces such as a lobby to sit in. The only indoor public space was extremely hot and stuffy and had uncomfortable chairs. Finally, the host was always lurking around, popping up to tell us everything we were doing wrong (We parked wrong! We had a sandwich!). Every conversation we had left us feeling like Grandma was disappointed in us and we needed to try harder. We couldn't wait to get away.

The host (Ann) was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent and the location gives you convenient access to destinations.

This B and B was simply amazing from top to bottom. Ann, our host was easily available before and during our stay. Our room was immaculate and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were beautiful with many different sitting areas in a park like setting. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Ann went out of her way to make us feel welcome and made many good suggestions for our visit to Ypres. We highly recommend this B and B!

What a beautiful place ; one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in and the grounds were so well kept . The town is very quiet not much to do but if you looking for a nice peaceful break . Highly recommend it

Beautiful locations, peaceful and private. Very dedicated and excellent host.

Decor, location, cleanliness, facilities, friendly helpful owner. They couldn’t be more helpful, give directions for best places to visit, discount vouchers. Their pet dogs even had luxurious kennels and runs to sleep in during the day.

Week-end formidable passé chez Anne, qui nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux. La chambre était très confortable (cheminée, lit kig size) et les petits-déjeuners succulents.

The B&B De Rentmeesterhoeve is fantastic; stay there and enjoy the best of Flanders. I was there with 2 mates to explore the battlefields of Flanders before celebrating the centenary of the Armistice. An old bailiff’s residence next to the local Catholic Church, the overall décor and appearance of the rooms and dining area is very comfortable and full of interesting things. Ann who runs the place is a superb host. She makes her own truffles and sweets for guests to enjoy, and leaves a bedside treat each night for an evening snack – a superb piece of cake etc. She serves a very tasty and grand breakfast spread – eggs, cheese, juice, tea, coffee, hams, baguettes, jams etc etc. Reningelst is only about 5kms outside Ypres and is ideally situated as a base to view the Flanders battlefields, as well as local restaurants in neighbouring villages. Ann recommended we go to In der Zon - which was the best meal we had in our travels in France. Highly recommended+++.

We had a wonderful three night stay at B&B Rentmeesterhoeve. Anna was extremely welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was fabulous. I would certainly stay here again, it was a real treat.

This place is one of the nicest well run establishments we have ever stayed in, much better than any hotel. The service we received was first class.

An ideal location for our visit to the Ypres rally.

Beautiful B&B situated next to an old church and a pond with a swan and ducks and deer in the back yard. Exceptional attention to detail with robes and slippers in the room, literature on the area provided and explained by the owner and lovely treats provided in your room during the day. We enjoyed our stay very much!

My three day stay was excellent with the frienliest of wellcomes and assistance with advice on the local areas I had to visit. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The setting idyllic and relaxing. I fully recommend to anybody.

Excellent B&B! Very quite area. I recommend eating dinner at the B&B as there are no restaurants in the village. She can suggest places to eat but you will have to drive to them. Place is immaculate and spotless. Super friendly staff, i highly suggest you go there!

Anne is an amazing host and he B & B is wonderful. Greeted with a local aperitif we were given an overview of local history sites we were interested in as well as dining recommendations. Our nightly sweet treat never disappointed. We would gladly come back a second time.
