Peavine Inn And Suites High Prairie

Second time we stayed here in 3 months and the front desk workers were totally accommodating and professional. The rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast has always been fresh, good and filling. All the staff has been kind and friendly. Definitely come back and definitely recommend this hotel.

I would have given excellent except for no hot food for weekend breakfast and eggs were not great. Plus no salt visibly available.

Web shows pics of of a restaurant and a pub, but there is none, it has been closed for 6 years, but still showing as a restaurant as an amenity. NO restaurant or pub!!

Was a great quiet place to stay

The place as quiet and clean. Staff were friendly and breakfast was really good.

Wonderful and comfy

Our stay was great. The building is just showing its age. The carpet needs to be changed as it is pretty outdated. Other than that staff was great and it was pretty clean.

Restaurant was closed. Pool was closed and this was the main reason we booked this hotel.

I have sent an email to the GM of the property dire tly and have not had a response. I was unaware the restaurant was close and the pool for summer maintenence. This should have given me a reduced rate as I was exprremely disappointed.

Room was comfy and quiet. Beds very firm! I wish hot breakfast was served on weekends as well as weekdays.

The state is this facility many times, the continental breakfast is getting to be pretty bad and used to be much better in the past. You never know whether the pool is open or not close to very season throughout the last six days it’s been close three of them during our three day stay and other times it opened on day three hard to get excited about a pool when you don’t know for sure if it’s going to be open

Quiet and comfortable. Sleeping in the room with the window open it was so peaceful. Beds and pillows luxurious. Friendly and courteous staff. Would stay again! A little sad hot tub was down, but that happens.

This was our second stay at The Peavine - first visit was 10 years ago. This place is super clean and comfortable. Our room and bed were great - staff were extremely helpful - and the breakfast staff were also very helpful. Our granddaughter who lives in High Prairie came for a swim and chill time - was nice to have a space big enough to have some fun with her too! We were there long enough to make use of the laundry facilities, which were also spotless! Congratulations to the owners and staff for keeping this hotel so well maintained for a decade, we appreciated being your guests!

I stayed here the same w/e for the last three years, at that time had a very nice “ included free breakfast “ this stay the choices and amount of food was terrible. Pool was out of service Again, same story two years ago. This hotel is deteriorating! I’ll be looking for another for my next year trip

this hotel is misleading about some things the free breakfast is very poor and most times doesn’t have what they advertised.dont get a room on the ground floor people outside smoking and lots of noise walls are very thin . Room was clean maybe stay one night but we stayed twice there for 3 or 4 nights not again

Not wonderful but hotel was clean with nice size rooms. Convenient to all things High Prairie. Not a great breakfast set up but enough restaurants in area to find something good. The bar was closed and we were told pool area was going to reopen soon.

We stayed here for a wedding. The facility is well kept and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Generally mismanaged hotel. An overall renovation is a way overdue. The restaurant was closed. After traveling about 60 days a year in the past thirty years, I can safely state that they have the least acceptable breakfast. Thus, you are better off to drive down on the main street to the first grocery store on your right and buy a frozen breakfast and warm it up with the microwave in your room.

Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast consisted of muffins, cereals, made to order waffles with all the toppings and toast bagels. Our room was spacious and clean although slightly dated. Linens were soft and comfortable. My only complaint was that the swimming pool was being renovated and that was the reason for booking this hotel. I do wish that we were given notice regarding the pool renovations so that we could have been more prepared. Overall a decent stay

We always enjoy staying at the Peavine. Rooms are always clean and well appointed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Appreciate the Keurig coffee in room as well. Too bad the Vine Restaurant still hasn’t reopened but certainly didn’t detract from our stay.

This hotel had very friendly staff and a convenient continental breakfast. The rooms were dated, but clean and well maintained. There isn't much around the hotel, but if you have a car everything is within a few minutes drive. It's quite affordable. I didn't try the pool but it looked clean and was never crowded.

Was amazing staying there. A bit of some miscommunications BUT everyone worked to sort it out and it was all good in the end.

The hotel and rooms were clean and orderly. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. There were limited options for the breakfast, but there is a Tim Hortons across the parking lot from the hotel. Overall, would recommend this as the best place to stay in High Prairie.

Stayed on May 6th 2023. Rooms are out dated. Room was not cleaned properly. Young kids yelling & running through the hallway late at night. No breakfast was provided allegedly because of a water shortage. I believe at a minimum a discount should have been offered. Please stay away from this property.

Sorry for the delayed response One of the most horrible hotel experiences ever We had around 10+ rooms booked and attending a couple of funerals nearby the next day ( Otherwise we would have all re-booked elsewhere ) Waterslide,Pool and Restaurant were all closed down and no mention of that at the time of booking The front desk reception at the time of booking and check-in had the worst attitude and does not belong in the people service industry. I will never stay at this establishment again or recommend it to anyone !!!!

Probably the best option for an overnight stay in High Prairie. The pool is currently closed for maintenance but once it is operational again it will make staying here even better.

Comfortable stay. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant was closed, but they offered take out meals. Their is not much around the vicinity of the hotel - it is next to the highway, and industrial park area and the new hospital, but it was quite. I will stay again.

Clean, reasonable price.

We Booked this hotel back in May because we were going to put Mom and Dad's ashes in the ground after the long Covid waiting period. We had a total of 8 rooms reserved, all for family, some with Children. The Woman that works behind the desk on dayshift should be looking for a new job? Of the 8 rooms rented, not one family member was treated with any resemblance of respect! If it was not a Friday Night, we would have all canceled and drove to Valleyview. The first big disappointment was that the Pool, Hot Tub and Water Slide were all closed, and had been closed for nearly two years. The little kids were crushed when we arrived as they were looking forward to some fun after a 7hr drive! The next big disappointment was the Restaurant/Pub were also closed, and had also been closed for a couple of years. The big kids were pretty disappointment also.. Finally, let's talk about the sad excuse for a continental breakfast! Literally, the only thing that was to be had was Dry Cereal, Bread and Coffee.. The most pitiful continental breakfast I have ever seen at a hotel. Neither one of these issues were mentioned during the time of booking, and when one of my family members asked why it wasn't mentioned, he was cut off and asked, "soo, do you still want the room or not" Never again will anyone in our family stay at a Peavine Inn & Suites Property!!! Do not disappoint yourselves buy booking here!

Hotel is ok reasonably clean , check in women was incredibly unfriendly and miserable, to a point where she came across as she didn’t want to be there working and had no customer service qualities.

The room was very clean and beds were great. Booked it through here, nothing was said about the pool and hot tub being closed. The hotel was willing to give a better rate but not this site. I booked this hotel for the pool only to not access it so i was pretty upset.
