Moon Villa B&B is a hidden gem for short stays in Taitung. It’s affordable, clean, and welcoming, with enough character to charm Gen-X travellers looking for a mix of comfort and local warmth.

This is not a dislike per se - Just be aware of the lack of laundry if you’re planning a long stay.

Location close to the train station.

Near to train station and owner are very friendly.

Do not have convenient space to dry clothes after washing. Balcony provided, but no have drying rack.

Clean, near the station

Very close to station, very spacious, clean and super comfortable

Never met the staff, only contacted by phone

Clean, cheap and comfort for space

Extremely poor soundproof, the staff didn’t remind other visitors keeping quiet in the midnight with a really poor experience.

Clean and quiet, very close to the train station

No escalator

This 130-year old premise is maintained with excellent condition. Rooms are very clean and tidy. It is just 1-min walk away from an excellent sunset viewing spot, which is a definitely must-see in XiaoLiuQiu. What impresses me the most was how hospitable the staff was, they are extremely helpful and caring, making my stay feel like at home.

clean and big rooms. nice big balcony as well. helpfull staff through LINE app.

to check in you need to either call to them or use LINE app to chat. would be easier just to receive the info through booking. no breakfast nowadays available either even though the rating / feedback mention it. but this was known already when booked as it was not mentioned in the room info.

• Feels like a comfy big house. • Super close to train station yet super quiet. • Very large rooms. • Large common room to work from and hang out.

• While it is mentioned that check in can happen late, the procedure actually relies on being able to call a number via cell phone or Line. It would be much easier if the host sent information, including key code, ahead of time via the Booking.com messaging system. • Half of the wifi routers did not provide internet access. The other half provided good but not always reliable signal.

Excellent location

Unclear how to check in

The hotel is situated near the train station. The location is excellent,CLEAN and the staff is helpful. Moreover, the facilities of the house is very attractive. We have cooked for 2 nights and every member of us satisfied the service provided.

The breakfast prepared by the staff is very good. The staff is also helpful.

The hostess is really nice and the property is cute. It is very convenient to get to the train station but unfortunately the train station is far from the city so have to either take a taxi or rent a motorcycle.

The room is spacious and good for 4 people in the quadruple room. Room is clean and cozy! Nothing to complain about! The host is nice. Breakfast can be busy but people do not mind helping out! So what makes the place very cozy. Better have a car to drive here. It takes 15-min drive to the centre of Taitung. 5 mins walking to the nearest 711 or family mart and some more restaurants nearby. In general, we had a good stay!

Extremely noisy at night right on a busy road. No shutters on the windows so get ready to wake up at 5 am with the sun light
