Ik vond 130 euro voor 1 nacht in een hotel in oost groningen erg prijzig

The breakfast buffet was really good. Decent sized room and bathroom. Good waterpressure in the shower. Instructions to enter the building were clear and easy to follow. Multiple charging station for your EV. Free parking. Close to Groningen. Easy to reach.

The beds are quite soft. The bathroom had a bad smell. The shower doors didn’t entirely close (lots of water on the floor). The hotel is located on the corner of a busy road. There was quite a bit of street noise (Saturday night). We didn’t see any staff. Only very briefly at breakfast.

Die Lage war nicht schlecht

Sind um ca. 17:00 Uhr angekommen.Wir wurden auf ein Zimmer geschickt wonach niemand gesäubert hatte. Nach der Beschwerde wurde uns versprochen das Zimmer in ca. 45 Minuten wieder herzurichten. Wir sind dann um ca. 22:15 wieder aufs Zimmer gegangen aber es war immer noch wie vorher. Alte Handtücher des Vorgastes lagen noch im Bad auf dem Boden usw. Nach erneuter Intervention wurde dann in unserer Anwesenheit das Zimmer gesäubert, Betten neu gemacht und das Bad geputzt. Leider hat man uns nichtmal eine Endschädigung angeboten

Sehr freundlicher Empfang Freundliches Personal Lecker Frühstück vom Büfett Zimmer mit sehr gutem Bett (gut geschlafen!), modernes Bad, Airco, Service mit Tee und Kaffee, großer Flatscreen-TV 👍 Wir haben außerdem sehr gut und lecker im Hotelrestaurant gegessen. Kostenloser Parkplatz beim Hotel 👍 Gute strategische Lage

Gute Lage, da nur 16 km mit dem Fahrrad nach Groningen. Sehr schön auf Radwegen. Personal sehr freundlich.

Die Betten sind etwas weich und es ist ein wenig laut nach hinten zwecks der Lüftungsanlage.

Ein Zimmer, das wir beziehen sollten, war nach Nutzung nicht gereinigt worden, war also benutzt. Personal war nur in Gestalt einer Person am Frühstücksbuffet und an der Kasse vorhanden. Raum war spartanisch eingerichtet und lag an einer großen Strassenkreuzung. Zeitweise sehr laut wegen Fernverkehrs. Trotzdem die mit Abstand teuerste Unterkunft unserer Kurzreise.

Ontvangst en service was heel fijn, voelde me welkom

Nou, zou het niet perse tegen gevallen noemen. Wat ik een beetje jammer vond, was dat ik 2 keren wakker werd van wat personeel leden, die buiten nogal hard aan het praten en lachen waren. Dit was iets over 01.30 's nachts. Er was op deze avond een feest en ik vermoed dat jullie personeel leden net klaar waren met opruimen.

Het personeel is allervriendelijkst. Het ontbijt was lekker uitgebreid, het bed helemaal goed.

We vonden het diner in het restaurant niet helemaal aan te raden maar wel heel gezellig

Wir sind sehr spät nachts angekommen und es hatte mit der Kreditkarte von mir nicht geklappt aber nach einem anruf hat uns das Hotel trotzdem ins Hotel gelassen und wir haben es am nächsten Tag geklärt und ich finde es gut das sie uns nicht draussen gelassen haben sondern besonders nett und freundlich sind! Ich liebe diesen Hotel und kann es nur weiter empfehlen

Fijn klein hotel met een erg goed restaurant.

De kamers zijn wat verouderd maar wel schoon.

Perfect place, clean, solid instructions for self-check-in in the weekend, breakfast superb, very quite, charging spots for your EV car, lots of parking place, centrally positioned in Hoogezand (walking distance restaurants etc.)

Nothing really, single bed could have been a tiny little bit bigger for a 2 meter sleeper, but.......(I slept well!)

This was about a 20 minute walk from two stations. Room comfortable. Lovely breakfast and tasty lunches.

Bathroom drains need attention. The towel rail in the bathroom needs bleeding. Traffic noise in the morning and

Hatte im Rückblick (leider)nur den Salat mit gewärmten Camembert . War einfach nur köstlich. Sehr gute Weinauswahl vom Chef und der Eiscafé zum Abschluss. Für mich ein gelungener Aufenthalt leider konnte ich nicht zum Frühstück bleiben. Man sieht sich immer zweimal.

Goed diner, ook prima opties voor vegetarisch. Er kwamen ook veel mensen uit de buurt eten, waardoor het gezellig vol zat.

Toen ik aankwam was er in eerste instantie niemand die me mijn kamersleutel kon geven, terwijl ik op mijn kamer een zoom meeting wilde hebben. Uiteindelijk belde de stagair met de baas en kwam het alnog goed. Daarna was er steeds voldoende personeel, dus het was een incidentje.

Heerlijk bed, 1 persoons was groot / ruim genoeg. Nette schone badkamer, ruime kamer.

Beetje verouderde stijl in het hotel. Hing ook een beetje muffe lucht in de kamer. Ontbijt was erg eenvoudig, niet veel keus.

We stay frequently at The Hotel Faber. We always get a good welcome and service.

Location, parking was easy, staff were friendly, room was bigger than I expected with both bath and shower. Restaurant food was excellent

Restaurant service was slower than expected but I think there was a mix up in the kitchen but food was worth waiting for at dinner

The breakfast was good, standard variety of choices. it included cereals, yogurts, bread, ham, cheese, etc

Breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays starts late at 8.30 am. We had an early checkout, so we left the room key outside the locked reception and could not have an early breakfast even though it was included in the room rate. No partial refund given.

Our room was quite dark, we didn’t get much daylight from the window and the lighting was dim. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We couldn’t understand why we had a shoe shine kit, small soap and small shampoo but no shower gel? As a couple travelling light we had assumed there would be some supplied. A kettle was in the room with very small cups, suggest taking a couple of mugs with you if you need a nice size drink. Very limited choice and supply of drinks; no English breakfast tea, no decaffeinated coffee available, we appreciate we were in Holland but we thought these facilities would be standard. The only milk was two tiny café crème pots and our supply was not replenished for the second day so we couldn’t have a drink in the room. We had seen pictures of fried eggs and bacon on a website for the hotel but on the first morning there was a very small container with scrambled egg and a small supply of burnt greasy bacon, all of which was stone cold. The next morning we chose continental although I did venture a boiled egg from the container, which was undercooked … There are no lifts and the stairs are narrow and steep so if you suffer with mobility this hotel is not for you. Overall we had a good night’s sleep but did not feel we had value for money at £250 for a two nights stay.

The room was very clean and cozy. Spent only a night in the hotel. The breakfast was very decent. The service was very decent. The man on the reception reminded me to not forget my ear plugs (I was going to Rammstein concert and totally forgot about them), so thanks to him for saving my ears :D

It would be better if there was a kettle and hair dryer in the room, but as I stayed only for a night that didn't cause any inconvenience

Good breakfast.

We stayed at Hotel Faber for a weekend mid-September. Frank and Ronald, the owners, went well out of their way to make our stay memorable. They helped us with local transport, were careful to ask what we wanted for breakfast, offered lots of local advice and told us the history of the hotel, which has been in their family for over a century. We couldn't fault their hospitality, and can't be more complimentary about the food served at the hotel. Our dinner there was superb, really superb, making it a highlight of our trip.

The weather, but that is hardly the hotel's fault!

Sehr netter und effizienter Empfang, einfach aber zweckmässig ausgestattete Zimmer, nettes Restaurant. Zentrale Lage, dadurch etwas Verkehrslärm.

The staff were super nice. They prepared some sandwiches for me since I planned to leave early and wouldn’t be able to have breakfast.

Fijn hotel om te verblijven. Ziet er allemaal netjes uit en de eigenaar Frank is erg gastvrijheid. Zeker een aanrader!
