Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Stanza in un contesto fiabesco, in un piccolo borgo arroccato sopra Taormina. Stanza piccola, ma con tutto il necessario. Si gira per le viette a piedi. Vista mozzafiato. Colazione inclusa in un bar nella piazzola centrale del paese, che gode di un ottima veduta
Arrivare alla struttura a piedi con tutte le valigie è stato impegnativo. Il parcheggio è alla base del paese e costa €15 al giorno. Sarebbe stato bello avere un minifrigo in stanza per poter tenere l acqua fresca che poi utilizzavamo durante la giornata.

It didn’t say that the spa area was extra cost, was extremely disappointed as I was looking to relax and when I tried to book its was closed on the night I was there.

Wi-Fi постійно зникав. Його майже не було. Комунікація дуже дивна, разів 5 просили пройти онлайн чек ін, завантажити свої документи до їх окремого сайту. Ми зробили це після першого нагадування. 2 різних номери в WhatsApp представилися працівниками готелю, в живу нікого не бачили ми.

A but difficult to find. They had no human presence at the reception, all info via Whatsapp. Breakfast is basic, at another place(a bar) and not up to expectations based on what you pay.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026La struttura è davvero carina, io ero nella stanza Isotta, davvero confortevole, pulitissima e lo staff ci ha fatto trovare 2 bottigliette d’acqua e il condizionatore già acceso, così da non dover aspettare che la stanza si rinfrescasse… lo staff è davvero gente, per non parlare della spa, davvero super lusso ad un budget abbordabile.

Stołki na tarasie piękne ale na dłuższą metę niewygodne, brak poduszek na nie do siadania, brak suszarki na ręczniki i stroje z plaży, kabina prysznicowa bardzo malutka nie wzięte niestety pod uwagę gabaryty ludzi, ale bylismy tylko dwie doby wiec ok.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Great location in the old town of Castelmola. Great view of Mt Etna from our balcony. Nice room with everything you need. We didn't actually meet any staff, but self check-in was easy and communication was good.
The 'included' breakfast was a voucher at a local cafe - nice but only basic (one hot drink and croissant each). It wasn't an issue for us, but note that you can't drive to the apartment. You need to park outside the town and walk about 350m through the narrow streets.

Praticamente introvabile La referente rispondendo al telefono non é stata molto abile a condurci all'appartamento assegnatoci. La possibilità dell'arrivo presso l'appartamento è totalmente sbagliata. I video che dovrebbero aiutare a trovare l'appartamento fra le scale e i cunicoli del paesello non sono di nessun aiuto soprattutto se inviati a velocità 1,5.

The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We truly felt welcome throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026The village is extremely unique right at the top of a very tall rocky mountain. Vibrant dining scene somewhat expensive. The views from some village areas were breathtaking and so was the drive up the narrow winding road.
Many of the features offered did not exist. No balcony and only a view of a wall from our room. Directions rather vague and video suppled stopped short. Parking is council carpark with a non functioning pay station (so had to risk parking fine) and we never got Easypark the app to work on our phones. Also carpark well down the hill so a long hard haul up steep steps and we had very little luggage luckily. Breakfast was very disappointing just a 1 croissant and 1 cup of tea/coffee not what I consider a GOOD breakfast. Staff non existent. Just instruction by WhatsApp.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Mi è piaciuta la posizione abbastanza centrale vicino il bar Turrisi, la vista sull'Etna, le camere ampie e con uno stile medievale diverso dal solito, attrezzate da un cucinino nascosto con possibilità di fare tisane in quanto c'è tutto l'occorrente come frigo e piano cottura ecc., letti comodissimi. La struttura è gestita da un personale non fisso, che pur non essendo la ci ha dato tutte le informazioni che ci necessitavano per arrivare alla struttura, fare colazione e fare check-in, trovare parcheggio per l'auto.
Mancanza di uno specchio nella camera e di una luce più forte nel bagno perché poco luminoso, colazione con più scelta

Reviewed May 25, 2026La posizione centrale. Abbiamo trovato la stanza fresca e due bottigliette d’acqua.
Non c’era una macchina per caffè. Dato il costo superiore alle 100 € a notte, sarebbe un servizio da offrire. La colazione è servita altrove, non in struttura e non lo scrivono sul sito. Un’altra cosa importante è che il parcheggio costa 15€ e non 10 come scrivono sul sito e su booking. Sebbene non dipenda da loro il costo, certamente hanno il dovere di aggiornare le condizioni e le informa sul sito. L’ho fatto presente e mi hanno risposto “lo hanno cambiato poco fa, il prezzo”. Non è una risposta da dare, chi ha una struttura di accoglienza queste cose le sa decisamente prima di “poco fa” e deve sempre aggiornare le informazioni che dà al cliente. La stanza era piena zeppa di zanzare e altri insetti, abbiamo dovuto ucciderne il più possibile e ci siamo beccati qualche morso. Data la quantità industriale di questi insetti, sarebbe opportuno fornirsi di zanzariere invece di lasciare tutto semplicemente spalancato per far arieggiare durante le pulizie.

Dotarcie z walizkami z parkingu miejskiego było pewnym wyzwaniem. Łazienki zdecydowanie wymagają odnowienia. Ciemne pokoje, brak jakiegokolwiek widoku. Na 3 osoby dostaliśmy 2 saszetki kawy instant. Wszędzie gdzie byliśmy był ekspres do kawy. Słabo wyposażony aneks kuchenny, brudne naczynia. Bardzo cienkie sciany/stropy - wszystko słychać co się dzieje w sąsiednich pokojach.

Dosta je dalje od centra Taormine (povezanost super ,ali dosta se izgubi vremena na odlazak i dolazak i tipa ogranicen si navecer jer nema kasnih buseva ali taxi vozi tako da opet postoji opcija za nazad

Suite was meant to have balcony, we only had doors that opened on to alley way and looked out over roof tops. We expected at least a small balcony with chairs. Paper thin walls which was quite embarrassing at night !! Let’s just say you get to know the neighbours well. Shower was probably the smallest one I have ever used, I don’t know how any tall or large person would manage. Cooking area seemed a bit pointless would be better to knock through and increase size of bathroom and make it something spectacular.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Výborná komunikace s majitelkou, krásné pokoje v Sicilském stylu. Snídaně v nedaleké kavárně (croissant, voda, čaj) byla velmi dobrá a dostačující. Výhled z pokoje na Etnu je fenomenální. Placené parkování nedaleko od ubytování (doporučuji aplikaci easypark).

Reviewed May 4, 2026Do pokoju wchodzi się z ulicy. Jest bardzo wygodne, duże łóżko. Ręczniki i kosmetyki na miejscu. Pokój przytulny, wygląda jak na zdjęciach. Dostajemy voucher na śniadanie (kawa+ cornetto/brioche) w pobliskiej kawiarni z widokiem - polecam jednak wstać wcześniej, bo ok 9-10 pojawiają się tam tłumy turystów.
Trochę ciężko trafić, bo nawigacja błądzi pomiedzy małymi uliczkami Castemola. Obiekt stara się dokładnie wyjaśnić trasę wysyłając video. Samochód należy zostawić na parkingu miejskim, płatnym i iść pod górkę z walizką. Nie polecam brać dużego bagażu.

Reviewed May 1, 2026Lokalizacja. Castelmola to miejsce zdecydowanie warte odwiedzenia, a obiekt znajduje się w ramach miasteczka.
Podczas pobytu zostawiłem w pokoju kurtkę, którą kupiłem za kilkaset euro, więc zależało mi na tym, by ją odzyskać. Osoba, z którą korespondowałem na WhatsApp potwierdziła, że kurtka została w pokoju i zadeklarowała, że wyślą ją po opłaceniu kosztów. Minęło półtora miesiąca. Po wielu prośbach, przypomnieniach i dziesiątkach wiadomości przesyłka nadal nie została wysłana. Nie spotkałem się jeszcze z sytuacją, by aparthotel nie chciał zwrócić rzeczy pozostawionej przez gościa. Co do samego pokoju, jest nieco zaniedbany. Popsute leżaki, jakieś pozostawione śmieci, łazienka w słabej kondycji, słabe wyposażenie. Zdecydowanie nie polecam, są w Castelmoli o wiele przyjemniejsze miejsca.

Het onpersoonlijke. Er is niemand. Alles gaat via mails, you tube filmpjes. Ook je documenten moet je online opsturen. Ontbijt is een bar waar je voucher die je weer online kreeg, moet tonen. In zo’n bergstadje is weinig parking. Een dagticket kost 25€. Dat zou duidelijk vermeld moeten worden..

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026Nice room in old building, good shower and bed. Located in pretty, pedestrian-only, old hilltop town with glorious views over valley and Mt Etna. We only communicated with staff via WhatsApp and phone but they were friendly and helpful.
The building is in the centre of the old town and parking is at the edge. Access is by foot only, and that involved steep sections and more than one set of stairs. Definitely not good if you have mobility issues and carry suitcases. I had not noticed that on the Booking.com site and it really should be included. The soundproofing of the building is abismal. We could hear the people in the next room talk and almost follow the conversation. Doors opening and closing and people walking and talking, all sounded loud, and it kept us awake for a long time. Not good.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Pokoje czyste, komfortowe bez zapachu charakterystycznego dla starych włoskich kamienic. W pobliżu sklepy, restauracje, bary. Wieczorami cisza. Parking publiczny dostępny, duży, 15eur/doba poza sezonem. Widok na Etnę.

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Wyjątkowe miejsce! Butikowy obiekt wpisujący się w klimat Castelmola. Perfekcyjnie czysto. Pyszne włoskie śniadanie w pobliskim barze. Świetna komunikacja z zarządzającymi obiektem. Otrzymaliśmy wszystkie niezbędne informacje, łącznie z lokalizacją parkingu, zdjęciami obiektu oraz tutorialem (!) pokazującym drogę z głównego placu miasteczka. Jeśli w przyszłości będziemy planować nocleg w okolicach Castelmola, to tylko w Borgo Medievale :)

Reviewed Mar 6, 2026Everything. It was clean, check in was very easy throught whats app. We even get not only adress of the hotel, but also the video how to get there. Every questions rised was answered fast. I really recomend! We just expected a balkony with the view. From our window we saw some landscape, bat the bigest size of the view was another house.
Outdoor closes a bit to noisy.

Le confort des matelas. Très mauvaise nuit. Chambre sombre sans vue. 1 seule tasse pour 3, pas d’essuie de cuisine, frigo Ko, rudimentaire.

La Spa, la camera e lo studio massaggi si trovano in posti vicini ma separati ed accessibili solo esternamente. La sauna non funzionava, la Jacuzzi necessitava di maggior igiene, il fondo era molto ruvido probabilmente per calcare (spero fosse calcare) bagno turco ok Alla massaggiatrice (bravissima) do il consiglio di stare più attenta con le unghie e di non fumare prima del trattamento 🙏 ma è stata bravissima, molto energica e sapeva il mestiere
