Great stay for the NC500. Had everything you need !

Room 14 has so much space and a couch and coffee table looking onto the garden and hillside. Also we were able to top up our EV using our granny charger. A beautiful area which we sadly couldn't explore because of the weather. Nice to be able to buy a continental breakfast.

Towels could have been bigger but that's a minor point.

Great hostel for everyone, you g and old. Warm and comfortable with extras like tea and coffee and the opportunity to buy breakfast and supper. Lovely location too ! The staff are wonderful too and can’t do enough for you.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, cosy and warm. Shower and toilet facilities were clean.

Our room was next to the toilet. Sleep was interrupted by fellow visitors using the facilities throughout the night.

We had a family room which was very large. The bed was fairly comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and organised.

The room was very cold when we arrived, the radiators had been turned off so it took some time to heat up, especially the bathroom which was just a towel rail. We had an issue with the shower, it seemed to run out of hot water.

It is located in secluded and very green area, that makes this place quiet and beautiful. The en suite rooms are spacious and good value for money. There is also shared kitchen area that you can use for making breakfast or dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Everything. What a stunning location! The hostel was immaculately clean and the communal facilities were very well organized. A lovely lounge was provided along with a good range of games. The kitchen facilities were excellent with access to good ovens, fridge space, continuous boiled water (via a Zip), and a good range of pots, pans, cutlery, cups, plates etc. The easy parking was also a bonus along with the washing machine and a very effective drying room.

Nothing. It was a hostel and, as such, we were not expecting five star luxury but Hartfield House was a genuine and delightful experience that placed us in the heart of an absolutely magical community.

A fantastic stay in Applecross that exceeded my expectations. We were on one of the rooms with an ensuite and we were very pleased with it. The staff were great and there were plenty of facilities in our room and in the hostel there was also a kitchen and washing and drying facilities.

Great location and the room had everything we needed for our one night stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were two fridges to leave any food in. You could arrange breakfast when checking in and the location has excellent showers & plenty of toilets. Also, they have a spacious drying room which was especially helpful!

Hele mooie ruime kamer..Wij hadden de luxe 2 persoons. Een enorm vertrek met prachtig uitzicht op de berg en op de weg naar het huis toe. Heerlijk kunnen genieten en kunnen slapen.

Spontaan naar het winkeltje en de Inn in het dorp wordt niet beloond. Winkeltje op maandag dicht en de Inn was al dagen in voren volgeboekt. Dus koop of plan optijd je maaltje. Daarintegen faciliteren ze vanuit de Inn wel fish and chips plus 🍸🍺 dus alles kwam goed. Geen kritiek voor Hartfield House dus maar een tip

El sito es de lo mas tranquilos, el edificio está bien, no es nuevo en el interior, pero es muy correcto. Puedes aparcar delante del hotel, y siendo un sitio muy tranquilo no importa que no haya valla ni nada. Puedes dejar la moto alli a un paso de la entrada.

Colazione piuttosto povera, per 6,50 £ mi aspettavo molto di più. La posizione è fantastica. Il salone è bello, ben arredato e confortevole. La camera era spaziosa, molto carina ed i materassi confortevoli.

La stanza era al secondo piano, in cima ad una scala ripida, senza ascensore. C'era una sola doccia per le donne per tutto l' ostello con sole due toilettes per tutte le clienti e perdipiu si trovavano al primo piano e non sullo stesso piano della camera. Quindi, di notte, per andare al bagno, dovevi scendere al primo piano col rischio di cadere per la scala! Senza contare che la camera e tutta la struttura erano fredde, a settembre con 12/14 gradi fuori!

Easy to find. Easy to park. Had LARGE room upstairs - big space. Comfy. Quiet at night. Shared kitchen good. Tea/Coffee facilities good. Good value for money overall. The views and the backdrop are stunning. All the other guest i spoke to were really nice. Traveller types.

Small glass window above door. Someone in the hallway could see into room, if they really wanted to. Never seen this before. Difficult to block view. Relying on goodness of neighbours. You are in nature and some flies in room and small bugs in bathroom. Be difficult to keep all windows open for periods. Thankfully the 10,000 midges outside were not at the windows! Depending on midge situation you maybe cannot spend much time outside. The perfect calm weather had so many of them there, but this is same across Applecross and obvs not Hartfield's fault.

Ein wundervoller Ort in der Natur. Liebevoll eingerichtet und geführt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen wieder. Herzlichen Dank.

We left when we found out the place was swarmi g with midges. Outside was beautifull, but inside was really cheap. We drive for another 2 hours to Inverness to stay in a good hotel.

Aardig & attent personeel, veel faciliteiten voor een hostel. Ik waardeerde erg de extra moeite, om ons lekker te laten slapen! De prijs, erg betaalbaar The Wee Whiste stop Café in Torridon !!

We waren op doorreis, en hadden 1 overnachting nodig. Met een 18-jarige mee leverden we allemaal aardig in op privacy, bedden in een hostel zijn niet zoals in een hotel, maar de prijs is daar ook naar.

Las camas por decir algo, los colchones hace mucho tiempo que dimitieron de sus funciones. El desayuno muy precario, recomiendo llevar toda la comida que necesitéis

Mooie ligging, keuken waar van alles voorhanden is om een eigen maaltijd klaar te maken. Parkeren kan voor de deur. De kamer was schoon en rook lekker. Het hostel houdt rekening met duurzaamheid mbt schoonmaak producten/ afval scheiden/ shampoo.

We hadden een 2-persoons kamer met eigen sanitair (erg fijn), echter de matrassen mogen wel vervangen worden / of voorzien van een topper. Je ligt aardig in een kuiltje.

They are not responding to our messages. We paid for three breakfasts that we ultimately did not have, and we informed them in advance. However, they have never responded to our messages, either through the Booking.com platform or by email. I find this extremely unprofessional.

Struttura bellissima immersa nel verde, con possibilita di vedere mucche scozzesi e cerbiatti nei dintorni nelle campagne circostanti . Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il salotto comune, accogliente e pieno di giochi e libri.

Habitación amplia en la que había espacio suficiente para una cama matrimonial y una litera doble. Cuenta con zonas comunes agradables, en particular la sala común. El baño ensuite de la habitación era muy amplio.

La disponibilidad del menaje en una sala anexa a la cocina resultaba a veces, por lo que vimos con otros huéspedes, confusa. Hubiera sido agradable que las camas fueran adecuadas para un colchón de dos metros de longitud y no de 1,90m.

The Host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was large and outstanding. The Bed was really comfy ,we had a good night's sleep. The facilities were good, with everything you need to cook ect. Really nice peaceful location 👌 👏

Clean and cosy, perfect for a two-night stay, near Applecross and the beach. Beautiful hikes from the hostel or ten-minute drive away from the hostel. Lots of cows and deers and birds nearby. Pads were available in every restroom. The shower were nice, big and clean.

The tea towel did not dry the dishes.

Applecross était juste une étape d'une nuit avec un chemin d'accès difficile par le Bealach Na Ba à cause du mauvais temps. Contents d'arriver dans un établissement propre et accueillants !

Prachtige omgeving. Fijn dat je er ook een was kon draaien en drogen. Laagdrempelig en gemoedelijk.

L’architettura della casa.

A prima vista la struttura sembra stupenda ma la camera con bagno privato ha un materasso indecente con lenzuola che odorano di grasso. Nella stanza c’era uno strano odore. La pulizia non è perfetta e potrebbero essere migliorate molte cose.

Hébergement au calme à Applecross loin du tumulte de Skye. Le personnel est vraiment au top. Et les services proposés au-delà de ce que j'imaginais. Chambre individuelle calme et grande. Animaux de compagnie acceptés avec supplément. Grand parking devant le logement. Possibilité de prendre les repas et le petit déjeuner en commandant à l'avance.

La route peut être impressionnante en cas de pluie et de brouillard (nombreux passing place). Des panneaux annoncent que la route est inutilisable en hiver.

We wisten dat we in een hostel zouden komen, maar voor de prijs dat je betaald had ik wel heel veel meer verwacht.

I servizi offerti molto esigui per il prezzo pagato proprio da ostello. La colazione era un deliveroo con possibilità di mangiare in una sala comune con pochissime indicazioni su dove trovare le cose tazze piatti puliti e riporli poi sporchi . Il letto scricchiolante quasi impossibile dormirci con i cuscini che sapevano un cattivo odore. il complesso era datato ma ristrutturato. Ristorante a Km 1,3 a piedi poco indicato

Disguido con la direzione non mi è stata data la camera prenotata per un loro sbaglio risolto con una camera inferiore e il rimborso totale della precedente

La chambre était confortable, propre et spacieuse. Lieu facile d'accès et très beau bâtiment et les environs. Le spa à 5 min a été très apprécié.

La personne à la réception était peu accueillante (pas de bonjour et de mot de bienvenue). La cuisine possède peu d'équipements et la salle pour la vaisselle est très sale et pleine de midges (mortes et vivantes).

Bon emplacement à proximité du petit village, chambres de taille correcte, propres et sanitaires communs propres...

Les équipements disponibles dans la cuisine communes sont limités. Les chambres sont un peu humides et fraîches.

La ubicacion es perfecta, viajamos en moto para hacer la NC500, y pasamos un dia, tod estava muy limpio, lo unico que parecia un laberinto ir de las habitaciones al comedor o a rececepcion, pero fue un gusto la ubicacion, muy tranquilos, habia una cantidad de mosquitos por la mañana afuera que tuvimos que correr a subirnos en la moto e irnos, aun asi me quedo toda la cara con picadas. Hay alrededor una granja con vacas peludas muy xulo de ver

arrivarci è stata una vera avventura attraverso l’Apple cross pass, ma completamente meritata. Noi avevamo la camera matrimoniale con Servizi ed abbiamo avuto una bellissima esperienza. Cucina a disposizione degli ospiti.
