Guindulman Bay Tourist Inn

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Guindulman Bay Tourist Inn. De eigenaren waren ontzettend aardig en verwelkomend en stonden altijd voor ons klaar. Wij hadden een mooie ruime kamer, met uitzicht op de prachtige tuin. Wat een prachtige plek. Het eten was goed, en Anna heeft ook een scooter voor ons geregeld. De omgeving van Guindulman heeft genoeg te bieden om te zien en in Anda heb je prachtige stranden. Wij zouden er zeker terug komen. Als je houdt van rust en natuur, weg van het massatoerisme is deze plek echt een aanrader.

It's a really pretty place. Maybe it would be better if they rent it out for events rather than hotel rooms.

The owners are nice but there were some serious issues: - Internet in the room was minimal or not working. - Guests don't get a key to the door of the building, you have to ring the bell. - The small AC couldn't cool the room during hot hours. - No drinking water provided, while there are no shops around. - The wifi code was VERY hard to get, on the backside of a router that is hard to turn. - Couldn't charge my laptop with 3 pin charger, pretty standard in the Philippines. They didn't have an adapter. I hardly experienced any one of these issues in 10 dollar rooms, to have them all in one room at this price is not good. Also the toilet didn't work when I arrived. It was fixed. Could be a coincedence.

Nice place and nice owners. Very comfortable bed which isn’t always easy to come by. Not “cheap” but we had a relaxing stay here.

The hotel is a charming colonial style house. The owner Derek and his wife welcomed us as if we were family. We loved the garden and the rooms.

Everything was fantastic from the beyond friendly service to the cleanliness of the rooms. Their spaghetti is a solid 10!!! We already booked a much longer stay here AAA+++++

NOTHING AT ALL. WORST DECISION. WORST VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY. BETTER COMFORTABLE ACCOMMODATION AND DEAL ELSEWHERE.

Room was so hot like an oven. Management/ owner will turn off your daggy, small and old airconditiong each time your out. NO HOT SHOWER. BROKEN BATHROOM LIGHT - TOO DARK AT NIGHT. Use your phone light. BED MITES THAT BITES YOU AT NIGHT. IT'S NOT WHAT IT SAYS ON ADVERTISING. THE WHOLE ROOM LIGHT WAS DARK. BRING A TORCH...

1) great hosts 2) excellent (home made) meals, juices, shakes. English pies too! 3) Phils/British ambiance 4) well maintained property 5) nice bar and pool to relax 6) great location for day trips to beaches and more.

Very nice privat suite with a own plunge pool on the terrace. I want also to highlight the friendly and helpful owner couple Anne and Derick. We enjoyed our stay there and would come again.

The property owners were very accommodating. The property itself was beautiful and the rooms were lovely. Conveniently attached to a bar in case any expats read this.

Clean

VERY overpriced ,no fridge ,in the basic room ,no drinking water, antiquated old square noisy air conditioner that was inadequate as the room was large, so hot room and nosy AC , difficult to sleep. The location was far from town and no restaurants nearby. Very disappointed , and so overpriced

Breakfast was great, Beautiful gardens and landscaping. Was a good location for our purposes.

War ein toller Aufenthalt. Derek und Ann sind tolle Gastgeber und helfen einem super weiter! Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen und super ruhig! Es ist eine tolle Bar vorhanden mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf den Garten! Derek organisiert auch einem Touren und zeigt was man dort in der Gegend machen kann! Einfach ein toller Ort! Immerwieder gern.

Overall the experience was quite good. The owners also work at the Inn, and go out of their way to be good hosts. I loved hearing Derricks (Delboy) story’s and his advice around what to do in the area was invaluable. Every request we made was fulfilled, such as fact there is no kettle in the room so they provided us with a thermos full of hot water each night. I loved being able to rent a scooter on site, to have mobility in the area is quite important. I would stay again when visiting Bohol.

This Place is owned and ran by Del and Anne, and they are very professional and accomodating and do Everything to keep there guests happy. Our room was big and spacious, and had a private bath on our balcony. I can really recommend Guindulman Bay Tourist Inn!!!

Was clean amazingly, cery helpful owners, enjoyed wonderful views around the place. We have enjoyed staying here in guindulman. Thanks

My stay at the Guindulman Bay Tourist Inn delivered the highest value for the money spent of all my travels around the world. Derrick and Anne are have created a lovely tourist experience for those of us that do not want to spend a fortune at a beach resort. Well appointed rooms and a location on a hill that takes advantage of natural breezes and air flow through the rooms so that air conditioning is not required. I highly recommend staying here for your next visit to the island of Bohol.

Wonderful, beautiful and clean hotel. The owners are absolutely great and will make your stay with the amazing! We had the room with the tub on the balcony and loved it tremendously! Food was very good, also. Highly recommended! One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at!

Anne and Derek run this place professional and with thought. We rented motorbike from Derek and drove to the rice terraces and waterfall and to Anda. We also went for an evening walk up to a viewpoint 30 minutes away. Recommended. We stayed in the rom with a cold tub on the terrace and it was good to take dips during the hot day. Leave the lights of on the terrace at night time. We also ordered several times maybe the best hamburger in Bohol and the Apple Crumble with ice for desert. Also very nice to have one or several talks with Derek. WiFi worked best in the restaurant but had signal in our room too.

Very nice couple who owns the place, they are very helpful about informations regarding tourism. They took care of our stuff while we are away visiting places, coming home everyday with neat room.

this should be 5 star hotel the hosts derick and anne were amazing the hotel was first rate all staff very friendly and the best food I have ever tasted from a hotel simply amazing place downside transfer takes about 2 hours to get there but once there you will be amazed
