Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Toyoko Inn Aomori ekimae is located just in front of the Aomori Station and all attractions of Aomori. It was the perfect place to stay for my Aomori trip. The hotel staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are pretty modern and spacious. The breakfast was yummy and the hotel has all amenities required for a long comfortable stay. There is a Family mart nearby and a lot of restaurants and izakayas as well. Shinmachi Shopping Street is right around the corner. Nebuta Warasse is right behind the hotel. It's the perfect place to stay!!

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026The hotel is located near the bus and train stations. It's literally just a couple of minutes walk making it convenient to explore Aomori. Room feels comfortable and I like how I can adjust the room temperature because I prefer cool room (around 23 to 25 degrees) but not too warm (Japan's other hotels always have 28 degrees celsius which I find too hot).
The breakfast venue is too small for the amount of guests. I find myself asking someone to share their table with me so I can sit and eat breakfast. But there are some days where I literally can't find a single seat so I just ate outside.
