Still Point Lodge

The location and grounds were beautiful. Loved the trails on the property and being right on the water.

The owner Gavin was very friendly and also gave good tips for the surrounding area. The accommodation is located on a hill directly by the sea with access to a forest and a rocky beach. The house has a lot of history.

The kitchen was not so well equipped and a dishwasher would be a welcome addition. Overall the apartment we had was a little on the pricey side.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in herrlicher Umgebung. als Startpunkt ideal gelegen - Annapolis R., Keji, Digby, Brier Island befinden sich nicht weit weg davon und morgen wurden wir stets von einer Rehfamilie begrüßt.

Location is amazing! Very close to Digby and surrounding attractions. Very clean & comfortable... Very well-equipped, had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly & accommodating .. we were upgraded to a larger non-rented space at no extra charge... Very much appreciated!

Property was beautiful! Laura & Gavin were wonderful hosts. Loved the peacefulness and the history of the main lodge. Children enjoyed the biking/hiking trails. Saw deer every morning. Enjoyed the quaint small towns surrounding.

The peaceful location, the garden, the traditional home and generous space. Very friendly and helpful host too. It is a drive out of Digby but worth it. There are lovely walks on the property down to the beach.

We had a huge room but the head of the bed was nestled into a slanting ceiling and both my husband and I banged our heads several times. The angle is quite deceptive. This could be rectified by putting a trunk or something at the head of the bed to space it away from the wall and sloping ceiling.

Everything was amazing!! Such great value for money and the location is stunning! Highly recommend this place if you are visiting the Bay of Fundy!

Very attractive property. Staff very friendly. Good facilities.

Property is a bit out of town. Description on Booking.com states 2 x bedrooms & bathroom. There are in fact 2 x bathrooms. Had we known this we would only have booked 1 apartment. This error cost us 2000 Canadian dollars!!! Raised this with the staff but they did not offer a solution to our satisfaction. Despite raising this with Booking.com they have failed to respond. Won’t be booking this accommodation again.

Lovely older building but modernised and we'll decorated. In well kept grounds and garden.

Some are two bedroom AND two bathroom so could accommodate four people/two couples. This obviously would be a lot cheaper.

Loved the property and views from our room. Apartment was spacious, clean, and well-stocked.

Bed in smaller room was a bit uncomfortable — mattress felt a bit lumpy and made a lot of noise.

This was a spacious 50's style apartment in an old hotel. The location is great for touring Digby, whale watching and the Annapolis valley. Gavin was very helpful.

Einfach eine tolle Lage, super komfortable Häuser und durchdachte Einrichtung! Es gibt Puzzle, Spiele und Bücher, aber keinen Fernseher! Die Ausstattung ist modern, sauber und umfangreich. Wir haben kurzfristig gebucht und da noch kaum Gäste da waren, aber wir ein Upgrade bekommen ins River View Cottage. Die Cottages können nur direkt auf der Homepage gebucht werden. Ein Trail führt direkt über das Gelände, der Strand mit möglicher Tide von 8m liegt direkt vor der Tür und ist durch einen kurzen Waldweg erreichbar.

J'avais réservé un logement dans l'immeuble principal et il y a eu confusion chez le locateur ou avec booking, car pour moi c'était bien inscrit comme ça. Nous avons eu un logement plus loin, qui correspondait au nombre de chambre que nous avions besoin, mais ce n'était pas l'emplacement prévu dans ma réservation. Toutefois nous étions tranquille mais le balcon n'était pas attenant au logement.

The hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodations were wonderful. The grounds are absolutely stunning and you can tell the hosts care greatly for their property. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

The property is gorgeous, the cottage has a stunning view of the bay. The cottage is super clean and very comfortable. There are loads of amenities and kitchen supplies. The hosts were very nice and shared many local recommendations!

We want to go back. We all loved this place. So clean and what a view.

You have to be careful with the confirmation since it arrives different from what you contracted... the apartment is very very uncomfortable, low low ceilings ( take care with your head) old kitchen...

the photos on your Web site shows a log cabin by the sea which was what we were expecting in stead we were given an apartment next to the main building. which was nice and clean but a bit disappointing. we found out all the cabins were occupied which was not stated on the website.

the fact we had accomadation but not what we booked we could have looked elsewhere

The cottage was an excellent place for our base in the Digby area. Very clean and with a great lay out for 2 couples. The view is amazing and we found it hard to tear ourselves away to visit Digby and Annapolis Royal. Our host greeted us and showed us around the cottage and was able to give us lots of information about the location and surrounding area. The land the lodge and cottages are on was lovely to walk around and there was even a beach area to explore.

Unfortunately one could hear the traffic on the highway.

Wonderful, peaceful, beautiful setting. Cabin very clean with usable kitchen (stocked with plates, utensils, coffee maker, kettle, pots and pans, etc). Comfortable living room, bed a bit soft for our preference. Host responsive and friendly. Walking trails and beach access a wonderful bonus, especially with loons present. We would definitely stay here again next time we are traveling to NS.

It was charming, comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was really knowledgeable about the area and helped us to make the most of our time there.

Our two bedroom, two bath cottage was absolutely lovely with fantastic views across the bay to Digby off a comfortably furnished deck. It was clean and well equipped and we were given a good orientation to nearby services.

It was a delightful, charming older small hotel in a beautiful setting. There were 3 of us with lots of space, loved the gardens, and it was so sweet of the hosts to offer us access to the homegrown tomatoes, and apples. Would stsy there again

The property was exceptionally clean and it was well positioned for going to Briar Island to go whale watching

The only complaint we would have is that there was no television and the day after we went whale watching it rained really heavy all day and we had nothing to do

Wow! This was the most relaxing and beautiful location. We really enjoyed the quiet and sitting on the deck overlooking the water. Just what we needed.

We spent the week-end in cabin #2 and it was wonderful. Fairly large new cabin, well equipped, very clean with comfy beds. Even though there had been in a mix up in the booking the owners were very helpful and were able to straighten everything out to our satisfaction. There was a great view of the Annapolis basin and the town of Digby from the back porch. The nights were very quiet and peaceful and the wi-fi reception was excellent. The grounds are very well maintained and it is possible to walk down to the beach. Deep Brook is ideally located right off Highway 103,. only 20 minutes from Annapolis Royal to the East and 20 minutes from Digby to the West, where we ended up going one night for dinner. Highly recommended!

The owners were wonderful, accommodating and very sweet. The space was very spacious and we love the dock down by the water. It is also very close to town but remote enough that you’re not a stalled the noise. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

Everything is well stocked FORREST stay there, but would’ve preferred some napkins and paper towels for dining at home. Nothing major everything was really good.

The host is terrific! So helpful in sharing tourist information. Helped make the reservation for whale watching. Even on departure we were given tips on our next stop and the route there. The little house id well equipped, modern, comfortable beds, ample space, secluded, great porch and unprecedented view on the bay!

We spent 3 nights at the Still Point Lodge. We stayed in the Linden suite and it was great. Very spacious apartment with a lot of character. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and we enjoyed eating outside on the deck. Very peaceful setting with a big property that was fun to walk around. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

The lodge was a bit of drive to amenities (restaurants etc) but was a great location for exploring the area.

Loved the location and the amount of space and storage.

Our Suite (Lindon) had no direct sea view, but that was not really an issue. Only minus maybe would be that there was no AC.

We loved this place. We lost our daughter a year ago and wanted to get away from home and visit her resting place in Weymouth. This place was a happy haven where we laughed danced and enjoyed a nice family vacation. It lifted our spirits. We plan to go every September now. Highly recommend.
