Retiro do Bosque Country House

Really nice people and good location.

Nothing

Gostamos muito do conforto e meio envolvente.

Nada a apontar.

We enjoyed our stay with wonderful host Margarida a lot. The property is very nice and the swimming pool was great during the heatwave. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.

Sehr gemütlich und familiär. Inhaberin und Personal sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Host, pool, new and comfy well equipped home-style hotel. Very new and clean. Staff is very friendly. Very pretty area with a pool and a garden . Very relaxing. Good breakfast

Very pleasant surprise! Nice, small place with lot of heart. Large rooms, excellent breakfast. I rather enjoy my breakfast in calm atmosphere than next to massive buffet with lot of people. More places like this!

I try to figure out something... no, I don't know anything :)

Localização junto ao polje de Minde, sítio muito tranquilo - um verdadeiro retiro. Simpatia de quem nos recebeu.

Nada nos desgostou.

The bedroom was beautiful and spacious and had amazing views. I also enjoyed there was a bath. Breakfast was delicious and the staff amazing.

Heerlijk rustige locatie, ruime kamer en heerlijk ontbijt. Fijn plek om buiten te zitten.

A localização.

Sitio espectacular, el paseo el kayak maravilloso, las vistas increíbles y la gente muy amable, sin duda para repetir.

Da habitação

Struttura silenziosa, molto graziosa, letto e bagno comodissimi, gentilezza accogliente, colazione meravigliosa.

Atendimento, boa limpeza e pequeno almoço gostoso

Chambre immense..

Rien.

Everything, we wished we could have stayed longer. I had my first solid night of sleep on the whole holiday on the big comfy bed. The room was huge and simple and beautiful. The pool magnificent. Breakfast wonderful. People wonderful.

Breakfast

Everyone is kind and friendly

Superb accommodation, pity we were only staying the one night.

Location, easy to park, great room, great breakfast, wonderful host.

Everything was fine but as It was winter, the dining hall could be heated. The breakfast was delicious but I didn't enjoy the low temperature.

Our stay at Retiro do Bosque was such a welcome, cozy retreat. Although the weather was very rainy, it was really lovely to sit in the main room by the fire. Having access to warm drinks and cake was a nice treat. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a lovely and tasty assortment of local and fresh products. It was so nice to meet Joao and his mother – very kind and hospitable hosts : ) We were in the area visiting some UNESCO sites. We only wished we had more time to enjoy the space and the location.

We loved our stay.

Amazing value and super clean guest house, we had a lovely and spacious room with balcony, bed super comfortable. It’s nice that you can make a cup of tea and have some home made cake during the day time. Pool was a welcome bonus after a day of driving. Our host was extremely friendly and we enjoyed a good conversation.

Breakfast and facilities.

Fabulous luxury

nothing

My room had a balcony with a good view of the mountain and olive trees. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, modern. The staff were friendly, gracious and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful- choices of bread, jams , ham and eggs made the way you want. I was along the Camino route. Bus stop was also close.

I really needed the wifi but it was spotty , slow or sometimes none at all.

Excellent service. Room was perfect. Bedroom Slippers were provided and bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was a great spread. The bathroom got wet easily but it was something we could live with.

Foi muito agradável, um tempo bem passado. As condições são boas, bom pequeno almoço. A repetir...!

A delightful stay and owner and staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Excelente experiencia. Espaço confortável, serviço impecável e pequeno almoço de rei. O espaço disponibiliza café, chá e bolinho durante todo o dia o que o torna ainda mais acolhedor e faz uma pessoa sentir-se em "casa".

Attitude, friendliness and feeling of being welcome beyond comparison - we loved it!
