Very nice resort, very friendly accomodating staff and the drinks were excellent. The sun-bed pricing was good for value and overall a really good and reasonable experience

We took family room it was comfortable but Not really partial sea view as was written. it was like appartment more and the view was to another room. when i said something it claimd that that's what they have for family. Room clean. Breakfast not a bufe and the menue is not rich. Stuff welcoming and helpful. Pool small not as in the site pictures. The beach nice and close to the pool. The bar service is great. Parking was available all the time. Great location and many restaurants around.

This was our second visit having loved it 4 years ago with our then 4 month old. We came back this time with a 4 year and 1 year old! This time it felt even better than we remembered. It goes without saying that the location is excellent - on the beach, close to lots of bars and restaurants (we recommend rustic gardens, mitsos, cheraki) but what really makes it so amazing is the staff - attentive, great with the kids, know us by name, know our room number so ordering drinks etc is easy and seamless, the front desk staff couldn’t do more for us. It is the small things that often go unnoticed which makes everything about this hotel amazing - all centred around the great location and the staff. Our first family holiday as a four and we both said the best holiday we have had in many many years. Thank you everyone there and in particular Aggelos, we will be back again!

I turned 70 last week. My wife and I wanted to take the kids to someplace beautiful and relaxing. Choice was easy. This is now our fifth visit, and hopefully far from last. Everything is what you dream of when looking for the perfect family vacation

Vergina Beach Resort is more than a hotel, it is truly a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Dionysus and Marina at the front desk. Our villa was incredible- 4 beds and 4 bathrooms with a sea view and private pool and jacuzzi. The villa was beautifully appointed with modern furnishings and amenities like robes, slippers, and black out curtains. The beds were comfortable and large. The sea at the hotel is crystal clear and the beach loungers and umbrellas are plentiful. The view from the beach is gorgeous with an island directly in front of it, and surrounded by mountains along the coast. Although the hotel is luxurious, it’s also very family friendly. There are high chairs and baby changers in the bathroom. The food at the hotel is delicious! Each morning we had breakfast on the beach with a variety of options from eggs and bacon to Cretan desserts and cheese/spinach pies. The iced lattes were amazing. Beach service was also available for lunch which offered burgers, salads, pizza, sandwiches. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy! We especially loved the chicken wings! What sets this resort apart from others is the people who work here. Agilos and his brother Sergio ( as well as many others) served us daily with a smile and warmth that reflected true hospitality and kindness. There wasn’t a need that wasn’t met and exceeded! Eleni, who helped tidy our room, was always checking in to be sure we didn’t need anything. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we cannot wait to return to visit with our new friends. This hotel was a little glimpse of paradise!

One of the most incredible hotels I’ve ever been to. It’s the perfect place for families, couples, and anyone looking for a first class experience. Aggelos and crew made the experience truly special from the morning coffees to drinks on the beach. An incredible place with incredible people!

Stayed here for 11 x nights end May / start June 2026 and would highly recommend it. Location excellent - right on the beach, beautiful views, and a lovely area where the sun beds are. Only 40 minutes from Chania airport and 20-30 minutes to Chania. Spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants within walking distance. Follow the hotel’s advice for where to eat and you will have some excellent meals, reasonably priced (especially compared to the UK), in traditional restaurants where the service and welcome is excellent. Rooms - we stayed in a 2 x roomed apartment, with partial sea view. 5 of us, 2 x adults and 3 x children. Was sufficient space, rooms kept very clean. The newer block that has been built looks very nice indeed. Beach bar - food was excellent here, and really good value. Breakfasts were €10pp and you got loads! Lunches also great. Service - was absolutely brilliant. All the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Reception were great, organised a boat trip for us and taxis. The people working in the pool bar were so friendly and provided brilliant service from the minute we arrived. Thank you again to you all. All in all, would highly recommend. Having walked up and down the beach in both directions some distance, I’d say this is one of the best spots on Agia Marina beach.

We stayed for a few nights in early October. It's very convenient for restaurants and supermarkets. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the pool bar/beach area was beautiful. The stay was made special by a welcoming Sofia. She suggested when to go to the beaches due to the weather, and she was right. Also gave great recommendations for meals. All other interactions with the staff were very pleasant. It was a nice stay, and I would return.

Small, nice and friendly. Updated rooms, everything was very clean. The service was great, a family like team working together for years. The waiter remembered how we liked our coffees after the first day. The handwritten list with personal restaurant recommendations was spot on. It’s the small stuff that makes it so good.

Wir wurden im neuen Trakt untergebracht, Erdgeschoss, Apartment mit eigenem Pool. Ursprünglich hatten wir eine Junior Suite in der ersten Etage mit Meerblick gebucht, bekamen dann aber ein Upgrade. Wir waren sehr begeistert und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

wonderful experience, hotel is amazing, staff is really warm and welcoming, breakfast was great. 10/10. Location was great, the parking was also good, the communication with the hotel before the arrival was also good. We got one room for the beginning of the stay and another one for the end, and the last room was better than the first, with ocean view and everything new.

The first room I got was a little noisy because of the street, but it was the room we booked. we also had a small issue with the window not closing but they fixed right away when we informed. It was not really a negative point I think.

Küchenblock und Kleiderschrank schief und abgenutzt. Für den hohen Preis nicht ok. Haben aus den Koffern gelebt... Wichtig: Nur 14 Suiten/ Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick, viele Zimmer mit innenliegenden Balkonen, wo man auf dem Präsentierteller sitzt.

Hotel is perfectly located at the beach. Having breakfast with that view is quite something. Staff is amazing. Everyone at the reception is super helpful and gave us information and support every time we needed. We need to shout out to the team at the pool/beach bar though. Aggelos and his team are the best - from breakfast to lunch at the beach and drinks all day. Always smiling and in a good mood, it makes a lot of difference and makes you think twice to leave the hotel and the beach in front of it to go anywhere else.

We will definitely come back! The staff was so incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The beach was very nice and there was always room for the hotel guests. Everyone was incredibly nice. They were always taking the extra mile to ensure a good stay. For example, we had a room with a small kitchen and had wine one night and the cleaning lady even cleaned our glasses next day. The room was very spacious. It is amazing that the hotel has a beach and a restaurant. There is also a water sport station at the beach so you can try various water sports as well. You wake up and walk for 2 mins and have a great espresso freddo by the sea and then take a dip and order an amazing Cretan breakfast. I miss this already!

Situated on one of the best stretches of beach for a perfect beach experience, in a well developed area of Agia Marina and bus stops right outside, to access Chania town. The hotel staff make you feel like they welcome you into their family, best customer service I have experienced. Cleaning staff did a great job consistently. The room was exactly the right size with the right necessities inside.

Es hat uns einfach alles gefallen! An unserem Anreisetag wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter herzlichst empfangen und auf ein Willkommensgetränk in der Strandbar eingeladen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Getränke und Snacks wurden auch zu den Strandliegen gebracht. Frühstücken konnte man ebenfalls direkt am Strand. Es war für meine Tochter und mich ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Das Hotel ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Ce que j’ai nous avons le plus apprécié, c’est la qualité du service, la gentillesse du personnel, la propreté de l’établissement, le petit déjeuner très copieux et excellent, la grandeur des chambres et la situation impeccable de l’hôtel. Questionné pour savoir si l’hôtel avait encore à disposition une chambre encore un peu plus grande que nous aurions pu échangée, bien sûr moyennant le supplément à payer, le responsable de l’hôtel nous a dit que malheureusement, tout était quasiment complet, à l’exception d’une chambre avec une vue incroyable sur la mer, mais qui n’était disponible que les 2 derniers jours de notre séjour. Nous lui avont dit que l’on était tout de même intéressé et il nous à tout de suite dit qu’il nous mettait à disposition cette chambre gratuitement pour les 2 jours complets et que l’on pouvait aussi garder notre chambre initiale. Vraiment incroyable et encore un immense Merci pour ce cadeau inattendu

Le seul petit bémol est relatif à la salle de bains qui n’offrait pas beaucoup de possibilités de ranger ses affaires de toilettes, mais c’est vraiment minime

From the time we entered the reception, Sofia was amazing, the restaurant staff and checkout personnel also amazing. Our flight got delayed and thus we arrived later than expected and the hotel offered complimentary breakfast for our stay which helped get our vacation back on track! Near restaurants and shops and lots of parking! Loved every secod of our stay! Kudos to the Team, they are experts at customer service!

The staff is amazing and very helpful! The hotel is first line on the beach, so you walk out of your room and you're in the sea. Its located on the western side of Crete, so you're relatively close to Elafonisi, Falasarna and Prevali beaches. Also its around 20 minutes ride from Chania old city, which is very nice.

We stayed at this hotel in Crete for our honeymoon and had the most amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, the view is absolutely stunning, and the hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special — everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. They upgraded our room for our honeymoon and surprised us with a lovely present, delicious local treats, romantic decorations, and even gave us a special fare. It truly made us feel welcomed and celebrated. Breakfast is à la carte and can be included in the fare. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. On our last day, we had to check out early (at 6:30 AM), and they thoughtfully left us a breakfast in our fridge — complete with a fantastic sandwich, fruit, croissants, travel waters, coffee, and tea. Such a kind and personal touch! There’s also a parking area attached to the hotel, which was very convenient for us. If I could give them 20 stars, I would! I’d recommend this place a hundred times over. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or just to enjoy Crete in the best possible way. Thank you for everything!

Wir haben als Familie vier Nächte im Vergina Beach übernachtet und waren sehr begeistert. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und ist sehr familien- und kinderfreundlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind extrem hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war gross genug und bequem und es wurde jeden Tag hergerichtet. Die gesamte Anlage war sehr sauber. Es gibt verschiedene Frühstück-Optionen, die alle sehr lecker waren. In der Umgebung des Hotels gibt es viele Restaurants. Wir würden ohne Bedenken nochmal kommen.

Nix - war alles top!

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Man hat sich richtig willkommen gefühlt. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber, direkt am Strand und man hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Perfekt zum entspannen! Der Sandstrand lädt zum baden ein, direkt nebenan kann man verschiedene Wasseraktivitäten buchen (Jetski, Standup paddle etc.). Man kann auch in den verschiedenen Strandrestaurants in der Nähe bei Sonnenuntergang sein Abendessen geniessen.

Das Frühstück ist nicht sehr vielfältig. Der Aussenpool ist nicht sehr gross. Obwohl wir sehr zufrieden waren mit unserem Aufenthalt, ist der Preis (verglichen zu anderen Ländern) doch etwas zu hoch.

The location was absolutely perfect for our family—right on the beach at Agia Marina, which was beautiful and family-friendly, and also a great base for taking day trips to other nearby beaches. The food at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety. They were also very accommodating to our kids’ requests, which made meals easy and enjoyable for everyone. The hotel’s amenities were great and helped make our stay extra comfortable. From the clean rooms to the relaxing pool area and easy beach access, everything was just right for a relaxing family vacation. The staff was truly stellar—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Everything is just great

Such a wonderful experience! The beach is beautiful, and we walked along it every day. The hotel is a gem in Agia Marina! It is small enough that it's intimate, but it has a big beach area with abundant lounge chairs and umbrellas, a small lovely restaurant which extends service to the beach, with attention to every detail. We opted to eat breakfast and lunch on the beach most days. The food was wonderful and so was the incredible staff who felt like family. They truly make the experience so special, and full of beautiful Greek energy! We spent 6 days in the new building. We had a 2 story ocean front suite, and we watched the sunset with our daughters from our balcony every night. Both bedrooms face the beach with their own balcony, and the layout of the rooms was clearly built to maximize the magical view. You can walk to lots of restaurants at night. There is a free private parking lot which made it easy to leave any time we wanted to explore the island. We will definitely be back! Big gratitude to Sofia, Giorgos, Aggelos, Bayazid, Manolis, and Melina for such a special stay!

We stayed at Vergina Hotel for a few days, and I absolutely loved it. The beach is beautiful, with an easy entrance into the water, delicious food, and excellent service. But the true highlight of this hotel is the incredibly kind and welcoming staff — the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. They’re always ready to help and make sure you feel comfortable and cared for. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Amazing stay at this boutique hotel. The staff are v attentive and helpful. They helped out from arranging transfers from airport to recommending restaurants and helping out on booking a boat trip. Location perfect also. Rooms and cleaned every day and breakfast is amazing. Will definitely return back.

Kostenloses Frühstück und Zimmer noch den kompletten letzten Tag bis Nachmittags kostenfrei erhalten. Tolle Strandlage mit kostenfreien Liegen und Poolbereich direkt am Strand. Gutes Essen und Getränkte in der Strandbar. Frühstück ist sehr zu empfehlen. Personal nimmt sich auch immer Zeit um kurz zu Plaudern.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel that is perfect for a family or couple's beach vacation in Crete. This is right in the middle and close to everything in Agia Marina, but still feels very private and quiet. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops and excellent beachfront amenities and private parking on site. The rooms are clean and modern with impeccable decor and comfortable bedding. We booked the Sea front Suite with Sea Facing views for my husband and myself (pictures attached) and the Three Room Apartment for our 4 teen/young adult kids. The Sea Front Suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the sea and the three room apartment was perfect for our kids- had so much space with enough room for 3 boys to spread out and have their own bathroom and for our daughter to have her own room and en suite. They also have larger units that we could have all stayed in together. The showers are amazing with hot water and great water pressure and the rooms stay nice and cool. My only complaint about the rooms is that the lighting could be better, especially in the bathroom of the sea front suite (the shower area was very dark) and the common area of the 3 room apartment could have used some overhead lighting or extra lamps. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay! The breakfasts are amazing and plentiful and the service is perfection! The same crew that services breakfast also offer beach service while using the sun beds. They are so friendly and hospitable and are very hardworking. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and gave us many recommendations for dining and activities upon check in. Overall, it was the perfect stay for us and we would definitely choose Vergina Beach again!

Not far (40 mins) from Chania Airport, modern, clean and right on the beach. Staff exceptional and make your stay. Small things like after one day knowing we like a G&T delivered to our sun beds at 3pm! Food fresh and plentiful. Rooms clean and comfortable (we had one overlooking the road which is noisy but once the doors are shut totally sound proofed and not an issue) when i return I will book a sea view room because they look stunning. The beach outside has a private section of sunbeds for hotel guests ( towels provided fresh everyday) and the sand reaches out a long way into the sea waist height so great for paddlers. The pool is also a lovely extra if you don’t like sand you are still on the seaside Food fab at the hotel, but quality restaurants within 5 min walk and reasonably priced. In short the best place for Sun, Sea, relaxation and the best service you could wish for. Don’t hesitate to come here.

Food and beach bar is fantastic. A little disappointing that the kitchen closes at 6pm and the beach bar at 8pm - only because they are so nice.

The staff made you feel not just welcome but like your family. Location was great and the close to nearby restaurants. Pool, beach and parking accommodation not to mention prime location of the pool bar overlooking the beach and pool. Not to mention a gym, steam room, sauna and spa.

If you want to totally relax in an incredibly friendly hotel with great food and wonderful staff, this is the place for you. Cannot recommend highly enough. Fab breakfast was served daily in a raised restaurant overlooking the beach/sea. Cocktails served from beach bar for sunset. Loads of super restaurants within easy walk from property. Hotel gave great recommendations each evening. Huge thanks to an amazing team where hospitality and friendliness is in the DNA.

The staff at the restaurant/bar knew what coffee I drink, what allergies my son has, my room number, etc. Angelo and his entire team hustle all day and make it took so easy, to make your vacation enjoyable. The reception staff was amazing. Sofia is so welcoming and nice and Ina always greets with a smile, ready to help. We have traveled quite a bit and this is hands down, the best service we have experienced. Keep doing what you’re doing, Vergina beach hotel!

Very nice hotel. Great location, near loads of shops and restaurants, as well as bus into Chania town. Right on the beach, hotel has it's own area on the beach with plenty of sunbeds and beach bar and pool. Beach bar does a great selection of drinks, cocktails, snacks and food! Pool was really nice as well. Also had jacuzzi and sauna/steam room, although we didn't use these as it was way too warm! Room itself was very nice and clean, had everything we needed - mini fridge, kettle, hairdryer, iron, lovely toiletries. Bed was also really comfy! All of the staff were absolutely brilliant, we were really warmly welcomed on arrival and shown around the facilities, as well as given a free welcome drink at the beach bar and we're also given free breakfast for the duration of our trip as a gift despite us not having booked it. Breakfast itself was pretty good and filling! Staff at the beach bar were all really attentive and friendly, always happy to help, and come over to the loungers to take any orders and bring them to you. Upon checkout, we were also given a little present/hamper to take home which was a lovely gesture from the hotel! As our transfer to the airport wasn't till late in the evening, the hotel gave us a small basic room for us to keep our luggage, get changed, shower etc, so we could still make full use of all the facilities and beach! This was a great bonus! Small but lovely hotel in a great location, beach is absolutely stunning, all the staff are brilliant. Would definitely recommend!

The room we were given was at the front of the hotel and right next to a corridor which led to the main road, meaning there was a bit of noise at times, especially in the morning as people chatted outside near the room. Room was also a bit of the dark side, especially as we had the curtains closed most of the time as was next to the corridor that led to the beach. Drinks at the beach bar were a bit on the expensive side but generally in line with all other bars in Agia Marina.
