Zhangjiajie Wang Yi Inn

The location is awesome. Unfortunately, our room faces the road and it is extremely noisy due to the endless traffic, frequent use of car horns (never figure out why) and right next to the bus stop. We tried to purchase ear plugs from the nearby shops but failed. For the location alone, it is still a GO but strongly recommend to get non-road facing rooms.

A little out of the way from the train or bus but only 10yuen taxi to get there. The room was big and spacious, shower worked well, as did the air conditioning. The staff were all lovely and considerate. They let us check In a couple hours early and have a shower after we had checked out when we got back from the national park before our train (they also made us tea!). Really lovely, highly recommend.

It was so great experience. Staffs are very kind, friendly and helpful for making a plan. Staffs helped us for making almost every plan. The room was cozy and the view was great. We could see the mountain. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel. I want to stay the hotel again if i visit Zhangjiajie again. I want to say thank you again.

The facility was great and the staff were helpful and communicative. The western breakfast was also good. The staff were extremely helpful in advising me of attractions to see in Zhangjiajie. The only thing I did not like was the construction going on outside the hotel, but that is not under their control. I wish them every success in the future.

Great decor, comfy bed, good clean bathroom. Very helpful staff!

Very nice place to stay. The staff were really helpful, suggesting what to do in the 2 full days we had. We were even given advice on what route we could take to get the most out of our visit to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. There was, unfortunately, noisy building work going on outside at the time of our stay. Despite this the staff were very accommodating, offering us ear plugs and giving us some free fruit, even though the work wasn't their fault.

Staff were friendly with pick up from the airport and advice about local trips and excursions. We had booked trips to the glass plankway and glass bridge in advance but the hotel staff might have provided better booking service and advice. The staff advised about a trip to the National forest and organized that and it was probably the best of the trips. The room was comfortable and with character but there was renovation ongoing on the 7th floor which made it noisy at times (this is temporary of course and has to happen sometime, the staff were conscious of the disturbance and apologised). I would return to this hotel and recommend it to my friends.

Amazing service and super friendly staff! They speak English well and helped me to plan my day trips around the area. Fast internet.

The staff at Wang Yi Inn were extremely friendly and helpful; actually getting on a local bus with us to show us the way! Breakfast was good, the room very nice and modem. Bed a bit hard but a bigger issue was lots of road noise: even through earplugs. Internet access also good and the hotel is not too far from the airport and also close to Tianmen Mountain park.

The staffs were exceptional nice and helpful. Someone met us at the airport as arranged. Check-in was swift. The hotel's owner sat us down, poured us a nice cup of tea and helped us to plan our entire stay at Zhangjiajie. Nice hotel, nice people.

Not to take a room to the side of the street very very noisi

We are extremely happy with our stay here. Annie was wonderful to us! Our trip to Shanghai got delayed twice and she gracefully called the airline and was able to help us book another flight. She went above and beyond to help us. We also really appreciate the girl who was working before her, but we were not able to get her name :/

Great time! Thank you all for the great service and suggestions during my stay!

We arrived late but the Staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable pointing us in several right directions, arranging cabs, meals and massages, the roof top bar was an absolute gem very chilled

Fabulous staff, particularly Simon, Summer, and Mai. Knowledgeable, helpful, and very personable. They helped me navigate the public transportation system to get me to and from all of the places I wanted to see. Simply super.

Very friendly hotel staff who are full of useful information to navigate the nearby sights and sounds. The location is great, close to malls and Tianmen Mountain.

The front desk stuff were INCREDIBLY helpful when trying to figure out navigation to the local Tianmen Mountain (and booked the tickets for me) as well as the more complicated directions of getting to the National Park in the north. They have a restaurant and drinks, which I only used for breakfast but it was good and fairly priced. The hotel is on a very busy street where everyone likes honking their cars; the windows are not insulated very well so it is pretty loud in the rooms. But, they recognize that because there were earbuds in the room to cancel out the sound! So they are making the best of a not so great situation. The beds are also pretty soft, especially with the consideration that it is a Chinese bed. I'm already recommending this place to my friends who will go visit Zhangjiajie.

Great stay at the Inn with unique decor that upon entering is a time capsule of nostalgia and awakens your visual senses as well as memories of a time long past, the rotary phone for example! Summer at the front desk is helpful and kind and speaks pretty good english. She helped me with all of my needs getting to where I wanted to go and her recommendations were spot on helping me plan my photography tour. The location is central enough that taxi and bus service to anywhere is very affordable. Rooms are all you need for sleeping as you'll be out most of the day checking out the amazing sights, there clean simple and comfortable and good value for the price. It's not the 4 seasons but her service is comparable to the 4 seasons. She walked me to my massage and made sure I got the price and service I wanted, helped with cabs and wrote out in Chinese addresses that I required to get around. Made things easy in a difficult land where langue is a frustrating barrier sometimes. Make sure you have the translator app!haha. All in all a very memorable stay at the Memory Inn! Thanks Summer.

Very helpful staff, great room, everything worked, bus stops within 300 feet, could walk to tanimen mountain cable car/ bus, reasonably priced beverages--tea was alway free, laundry returned in 10 hours. What made it even better, the staff enjoyed talking with us to practice their English. One chiness lady was also learning German and we both practiced our German

Very friendly staff. The best part of the stay. Close to shopping and places to eat. I came to area to see mountains and national park and staff made sure I got to these places in the most affordable and efficient way.
