The food was realy good and our room was realy nice and clean

We had a lovely stay. Checking in was quick, easy and we were given all the information we needed. It's a very calming space to be in. It wasn't busy when we stayed and we felt very relaxed. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that would have made the room better is if the 2 beds that had been pushed together to create a double bed stayed together. The mattress was very comfortable but was waking up a couple of times as I would fall into the dip the 2 beds had created and had to push them back together a couple of times in the night. Lovely view of the lake but be mindful it's next to a motorway. It didn't bother me or my partner but its something to keep in mind. Overall it was a lovely stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Leonardo Hotel Vinkeveen. The hotel is in a beautiful and peaceful location near the water, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, always making sure guests felt welcome. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with plenty of options to choose from. I also really enjoyed the convenient location, close to Amsterdam while still being quiet and relaxing away from the busy city center. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a calm environment. I would happily stay here again.

Booked via EasyJet as a weekend getaway to Amsterdam — except this hotel is not in Amsterdam. It’s in Vinkeveen 20km away, meaning you’ll need a car or face a 1+ hour journey involving buses or a bus + train just to reach the city centre. Marketing it as an Amsterdam stay feels is misleading. I arrived close to midnight on Thursday and checked in quickly. There’s also a €15 “city tax”, which feels questionable given the hotel’s rural location. First impressions were positive — modern decor and a nicely styled nautical-themed room and bathroom. That’s where it ends. Across 3 of the 4 nights, there was consistent noise disturbance. Mornings started with people talking directly outside my ground floor room, and evenings escalated into loud, intrusive music from events at the hotel — more like a nightclub than a place to relax. When I contacted reception, I was told it would stop “around midnight” and that this happens every weekend with no apology or effort to manage expectations. I contacted Easyjet who were sympathetic but nothing was done to improve the situation. On one night, an alarm also went off across multiple rooms, including mine, suggesting a system fault — not reassuring when you’re trying to rest. Service levels were equally disappointing. There was no one at reception during checkout, and overall staff visibility throughout the stay was very low. Even basic services were unnecessarily difficult — room cleaning had to be requested via a QR system that didn’t work, making it effectively inaccessible, my room was cleaned once over a 4 night stay. The hotel itself seems more focused on image than guest comfort, with sports cars displayed around the property despite there being a car park. Yes, the harbour setting is pleasant, but it doesn’t make up for the repeated noise, lack of service, and inconvenient location. Following my complaint, I was offered a 7% credit, which does not reflect the level of disruption experienced. Overall: this is not a city break hotel, its a hotel in a village in the Netherlands. It’s poorly located for Amsterdam, lacks basic service standards, and prioritises events over guest comfort. Unless you’re happy dealing with noise and limited support, I would avoid.

Hassan was truly a super hospitality hero that went above and beyond to ensure delivering a first class service at it's best image. Kindly pass my warm compliment to Mr. Hassan.

beautiful location over looking the lake, friendly staff and comfy beds. clean and tidy and highly recommended. With a very cute little SMEG fridge in the room. cracking restaurant on site that serves beautiful tasting sushi.

Als zakelijk reiziger meerdere malen hier geslapen in de afgelopen twee jaar. Perfecte uitvalsbasis tussen Amsterdam en Utrecht, goed bereikbaar naast de snelweg. Prima kamers. Vriendelijk personeel. Gratis kamer upgrade was erg attent.

Top locatie, mooie kamers, gaaf uitzicht over de Vinkeveense plassen. Heerlijk ontbijt!

De tv op kamer vertoonde kuren, en een hoek van de vloermat krulde op, zodat deze een struikelgevaar opleverde. Gemeld bij vertrek aan de receptie; het probleem is gekend, ze zullen het nog eens doorgeven, maar ze vermoeden dat er niets aan zal gedaan worden...

Prima voor één overnachting. Heerlijk gegeten bij The Harbour Club

Prima hotel. Wel armoedig dat er aan de buitenkant vele vitrages kapot zijn! Kamer was schoon, maar niet super schoon. Een stofzuiger had deze extra schoon gemaakt. Vloerkleed kapot. Deur douche kon niet dicht ivm rubber strip die los was. Ontbijt oké, maar koffieautomaat defect.

Buffet à volonté au top, personnel disponible et compétent, bon rapport qualité prix.

L'isolation des chambres est à revoir. Tant phonique que thermique. Les fenêtres ou systèmes d'aération sont des passoires. Par moment on aurait pu croire que les fenêtres étaient grandes ouvertes alors qu'elles étaient bel et bien fermé. En hiver avec ce froid c'est compliqué. Et comme c'est à côté de l'autoroute on entend beaucoup les voitures.

Long waiting on checkin and checkout. Even though you can checkout yourself (which i did) you still havw to wait to validate parking ticket. Very busy front desk.

Was lovely hotel. Food is outstanding, struggle to get the room warm with the heating. Overall really nice hotel and good location with links to public transport. Note GVB ticket doesn’t work for the bus across the road but tickets only €3.70 single If you want your room made up don’t forget to request it via the app!

Lovely hotel friendly staff the food was amazing and good value. Lovely atmosphere and great menu selection. Bus route just outside which means getting into the city easy.

Nice spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great night’s sleep, beautiful hotel, lovely restaurant food, say access to bus to get into central Amsterdam, it’s a little way out but nice quiet location. Staff are friendly and helpful, atmosphere a little quiet as we arrived New Year’s Day, it’s a little on the pricey side but worth it.

We had a wonderful stay here. Bodhi at reception was absolutely outstanding, so friendly and genuinely helpful. He personally searched for New Year’s Eve activities for us, printed out recommendations, and even left them in our room for when we returned, which was such a thoughtful touch. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully styled, and every member of staff we encountered was super accommodating. Our only small moan was having two single beds pushed together, but this was handled kindly and efficiently as we were moved to another room on the second day. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d happily return.

Świetny hotel ,bardzo czysto, nowocześnie i komfortowo. Pokój przestronny, łóżko bardzo wygodne. Obsługa miła i pomocna, zawsze uśmiechnięta. Bardzo dobre śniadania, duży wybór i świeże produkty. Lokalizacja spokojna, a jednocześnie dobry dojazd do Amsterdamu. Pobyt był naprawdę udany i chętnie wrócę.

We zijn aangenaam verrast! Vriendelijke ontvangst en een mooie kamer met uitzicht op het water! We waren ook nog gast van de dag...erg gewaardeerd! De bedden zijn zeer comfortabel en het ontbijt zeer uitgebreid! We kunnen iedereen aanbevelen om in het Leonardo hotel te overnachten. Wij kwamen alleen 1 nachtje voor een bezoek ivm een feestje maar we hebben de buitenruimte gezien en denken dat je er in de zomer heerlijk een paar dagen kan vertoeven zo aan het water! Aanrader!

kunnen niets bedenken. Het hotel ligt strategisch aan de A2. Maar aan de achterkant aan de Vinkeveense Plassen..Makkelijk bereikbaar en mooi gelegen...niet verkeerd!

Prima kamer, goede bedden, snelle check in. Goed gestyled hotel. Verbleven 1 nacht op doorreis (dank voor de upgrade). In de zomer erg leuke (watersport) lokatie. In de winter saaie omgeving maar op een paar kilometer genoeg te doen (auto nodig) in de Vechtstreek of Amsterdam.

Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt, lekkere bedden en zacht beddengoed, fijn dat een late uitcheck mogelijk was!
