Le service, la restauration sur place et la bonne humeur du personnel. L'établissement est super, avec des terrasses à l'avant comme à l'arrière. Avec en bonus la vue sur la mer de la chambre.

Le parking est génial car il se trouve à l'arrière de l'établissement mais c'est un parking en gros gravier , en moto c'est un réel problème.

Close to the beach, close to local attractions and shops, good connection to Brighton

Great for the buses to Brighton and near friends. Pub was comfortable with great staff and good food and drinks

It was very convenient and provided parking. There was a little fridge and 2 bottles of water.

The drawer that contained the hairdryer was very difficult to open and the lock on the bedroom door was very difficult to close.

Exceptionally clean, wonderful welcome, great value for money and the unexpected added bonus of 10% off in the restaurant... which is outstanding. Quite possibly the BEST burger i have ever eaten, fantastic atmosphere and wonderful attentive staff.

The room is value for money, considering the cost of other accommodation. It says it is a boutique hotel but it's a little more basic and cramped for that. The restaurant below is ok, I had the special steak which was cooked really well and very tasty, my wife had the steak kebab thing that wasn't great. The no 12 bus is great value, takes you into the heart of Brighton or Eastbourne.

A little squashed and cramped in the room. The main question is would we stay again, compared to what is around the location it's good value for money and yes we would.

Good location and value for money, rooms could do with a fresh coat of paint but they are clean.

Main road next to the property makes it very noisy at night

The rooms by the road are unusable for me- even with the ear plugs provided. Hot and incredibly noisy. A sea view on this place is not an option- it’s essential and ideally you want one well down the side away from the road.

Location was great, close to bus stops and local shops as well as a launderette next door. Food was very good along with the service.

Bathroom very small, door to shower didn’t close properly. We stayed during the week so wasn’t noisy, but with a bigger crowd, could have been noisier.

Good location, five minutes walk to the sea and near some shops too. Room was comfortable with tv, fridge and good shower.

Very small bathroom with no storage space in the bathroom for toilettes either at the sink or in the shower.

It had a fan, which was fantastic for the heatwave.

There were hairs in the shower that weren't mine, the shelf in bathroom was falling off, there were paint stains and marks all over the wall, the toilet seat almost slid off every time I sat on it, and the flooring/wall underneath the shower was coming away.

Easy to find, with a small car park at the back and a larger free car park a 2 minute walk away. Very comfortable bed, I slept so well. Clean room with a great shower. Nice little touches like a mini fridge, a large fan and a plug in heater for colder weather. I had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Will definitely stay here again.

It's located on the main road so expect some traffic noise. But some foam ear plugs were thoughtfully provided.

Staff were friendly. Food was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was good for us as we were going to Lewes next day for the day and returning that night.

The area was as expected.. Really nice the staff were lovely.. No complaints there.. The room looked better in the pics than in reality.. The carpet in the hall was grubby and stained the remote control in the room was unwiped. The plaster on the back of the building was worn away and shoddy.. The room although clean looked a bit shoddy in parts.. Cheap electric shower which was only powerful on one setting.. However the bed was lovely and comfy.. Overall I think £80 quid was too much for such a basic room... I would not go back..

I cannot recommend this property too highly . In short it was absolutely wonderful Location was perfect as I was at a party in Peacehaven. Staff were so lovely. Room had everything you need for a an overnight stay. Only issue is I didn’t taste the burgers as they smelt amazing but I will next time 👍

At the entrance, a very nice and smiling lad greeted me. The room was very clean. The beds were very, very comfortable; after a good night's sleep, I woke up happy and satisfied.Very good food.

I loved the location. It was one of the best weekends away I've had in the UK. Burger & Bird restaurant/bar right downstairs with a beautiful garden and great food & drinks was very convenient. The rockpools and cliffs were 2 minutes away. Plenty of cafes a minutes walk. Sainsbury right across the road and a 24 hour petrol station too. Staff were very friendly & helpful with any questions we had. Peacehaven was 'peaceful' with stunning views and Burger & Bird was perfect. Thank you!

Nothing! (I Just had to shut the windows in the morning to block out the few car sounds, but they had thoughfully provided ear plugs too, so once they were in all was good!)

The staff, the food, rooms where clean, very clean. In the right room you can see the sea. Little tip, the room we stayed in had lamps by the bed with usb charger ports which I didn't see till the morning, a lovely bit of convenience.

Fantastic views from the bedrooms. Parking was great, secure. Staff in restaurant/bar were super friendly & the food & drinks were lovely. Bus into Brighton was right outside property.

The bed was very hard

The location was great - and when it said 'sea view' it wasn't lying, though you actually had to stand next to the window to see the sea! The bed was firm but very comfortable, the get-in was efficient and all arrangements were made well. We only met one member of staff and she was lovely. They were also very accommodating about us having a slightly later check-out.

The fridge in the room wasn't very cold - we weren't even sure if it was working - and the bathroom door was starting to come off one of its hinges, which worried us slightly. There aren't many very nice places to eat nearby unless you go for a very long walk or drive.

Warm room nice and quiet

Room a bit dirty, window all plaster fallen off, kettle had to dust. Tele did not work had an old indoor aerial you had to move for broken signal, extention leads everywhere, no heating in bathroom

I like the location to the ferry and the food in restaurant

Didn't like I had to keep on moving my car as they had loads Stones delivered and needed to spread them properly but I wanted to part my car and relax I couldn't do that because I had to get to move it in and out and I like to relax and have a drink there was too many stairs going up for my wife who's disabled the bed was extremely hard the views were okay there was definitely signs of wear and tear in the rooms that could have been sorted out you had to pay for your Wi-Fi the lock and the key the key was slowly bent so wouldn't quite work properly didn't like there was no breakfast or invitation to have a breakfast except telling you there was a restaurant down the road

Didn't have breakfast as was out of the room at 6am to catch ferry, we had a lovely sea view room. Ideal location to catch ferry as only a 10min drive up the road

It can be noisy but this trip was remarkably quiet

Nothing particularly, it was just what we needed. Very clean, and very conveniently located for visiting family. We were very happy with it.

The room was SO hot when we got to it! I don’t know if there’s much would could have been done about it, maybe leaving the window on the latch or leaving the fan on perhaps. But it was so hot, I even felt the radiator when we went inside, as it was like a sauna!

Good location for getting to Newhaven ferry port

We booked 4 rooms, but 24 hours before arrival was messaged to say they doubled book and would only have 3 rooms for us, meaning we had to find alternative room elsewhere with 24 hours notice on bank holiday weekend at cost to us as prices were now at peak and not much available. we booked 4 weeks beforehand and had messages from them during this time but nothing about rooms anavailable. Greenwich roons blamed booking.com but i disagree . They knew 4 weeks in advance, they confirmed with us , they messaged us . Also cant get a refund until 7 days after stay. Rooms very basic, walls are paper thin but hotel does supply ear plugs lol. Showers dodgy, cleaniness not a priority Would not reccomend at all.

Loved the room, the view, the facilities, the staff and convenience for the ferry.

For us the 4 flights of stairs were a challenge but most people wouldn't have a problem!

The staff and food were good

The rooms smelt and were very noisy from the road outside. Bed was not very comfortable. The shelf in the bathroom is too close to the sink so can’t brush your teeth easily

Stayed overnight to catch the Dieppe ferry the following morning. Ideal location for this. Room were clean and tidy. Ideal for what I required

Great location. Nice pub downstairs where you can taste good food and drinks. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly and rooms was spacious with everything we needed with cot provided for our little one.

The bed, it was not comfortable at all, the mattress was very hard and both me and partner woke with back ache both mornings. The shower/drainage also had a sewage smell coming from it.

Room was clean and had very good extras included. Toiletries and tea coffee facilities also a bottle of water in the fridge. We had food in the bar downstairs and that was very nice.

Location and sea view

I went mid March and the room was very warm, the first thing I did was turn the radiator off. I then opened the window but unfortunately it was very windy and so tried to wedge it open with a towel but it didn't work.

Break fast was not available. But in the night felt little far off from the bus stop. The name board was too small for identifying.

Cramped bathroom with horrid hand basin

It was very close to Brighton itself really nice quiet location comfortable room facilities were clean. Towels, hairdryer fridge kettle came with the room along with the TV which where imperfect in nick. A really nice stay overall.

The main bed itself was a very firm mattress, which made it quite uncomfortable (as we both enjoy a softer mattress) but that was the only issue with the room

Location was excellent. Very close to coastline walks. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was also excellent.

The advertised car parking was not clearly available. There is a free car park 100m away, which was pointed out to us by locals. Neither ourselves or any of the staff could get the TV to work.

No breakfast, but knew that beforehand. Tea n coffee available in the room as well as a fridge. We also knew there was a cafe and Sainsbury's across the road Spotlessly clean and tidy would definitely stay here again. Also The Burger and Bird Bar / Restaurant underneath was brilliant, serving delicious food and beer, very handy, again with super staff and extremely clean.

Slightly softer mattress, again the reviews said it was firm, so we were ready for it

The manager who greeted us was lovely he carried our luggage up and then returned with a taxi number great service will stay again. Also had a lovely meal downstairs before going out.
