The hospitality was excellent and I genuinely felt comfortable and well taken care of. The room and common areas were clean and well maintained and the hostel felt safe and secure. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, making it a great place to stay, especially for students and travelers. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend Pauli Hostel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. Die Gemeinschaftsküche wirkt etwas schmudellig und ungepflegt. Das liegt aber eher daran wie die Gäste die Küche nach Benutzung zurück lassen. Die Kabinen von den Toilletten sind sehr eng. Am Abend waren manche Toiletten etwas schmutzig, aber es stand immer Desinfektionsmittel bereit und die Reinigungskraft war morgens sehr gründlich.

The bed mattress was so worn out and too soft that I could not sleep properly. Also the price was too much for two nights (61€). Toilets was too small. Also no hangers for washed clothes.

Estás a 10-15 minutos de la plaza de los Beatles, donde se concentra la diversión nocturna, son varias cuadras pero "inicia" en esa plaza. Tienen casilleros para guardar tus cosas de valor y una cocina que está bien equipada. El personal es super agradable y están dispuestos a ayudarte en todo.
Los baños y las duchas pueden mejorar, sobre todo los cubículos de los baños que son muy pequeños y las duchas cuentan con lo mínimo, supongo que es suficiente por el precios.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026The location is okay. The property itself is not good. I did not stay when I saw the condition of the room, and the owner refused to refund me.
The photographs of the property did not show the room in advance. When I arrived there were open beer cans on the floor of the room, the ventilation was poor, the room smelled very bad, and was not clean. There is no secure locked inside the room for your belongings, only a small locked in the passage. I was really uncomfortable and decided to leave.

Zimna woda pod prysznicem. Nie ma żeńskich pokoi a hostelowi nie powinno to robić różnicy a dziewczynom jednak tak. Ludzie dobierani są randomowo. Hostel żeby zostawić swoje rzeczy i iść sobie na miasto i najlepiej wrócić nad ranem.

It was extremely difficult to find a tiny bit of privacy to even change clothes. I had to lock myself in a tiny bathroom stall since I didn’t feel comfortable doing it in a room full of men.

Начиная от запаха, завершая дешевым бельем постельным, за которое надо еще оплатить 5 евро. Есть зона отдыха, где можно посидеть, это выручает, чтобы не проводить время в душной комнате. Душ я решил не испытывать.

Ja, wir wissen, dass wir ein Hostel gebucht haben aber dennoch gab es lediglich zwei Stockbetten und 4 Kleiderhaken für Jacken. Es war sehr schmutzig. Die Decken und Kopfkissen waren ebenfalls schmutzig. Die Sanitäreinrichtung sollten etwas renoviert werden!

Das Zimmer war ein bisschen sehr klein für 4 Personen und es gibt nur 4 Haken, da können keine 4 Leute ihre Kleidung aufhängen. Außerdem gibt es keine Lüftung im Zimmer, dementsprechend schimmelt es auch an der Wand. Aber für 1 Nacht ist es ok. Man kann für das Geld auch nicht viel erwarten. Das Personal ist nett und dass man sich morgens noch einen Tee in der Küche machen kann, das finde ich auch gut.

Мне не понравилось буквально все, сотрудники не умеют общаться нормально ни на одном языке, вместо обещанных 4 человек в комнате их было 5, ужасные условия, везде грязь, ужасный душ. Пароль на моем шкафчике был 0000, это вообще сюр!

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025Advertise their check-in times, but there was nobody there. Took over an hour to get in. Couldn't find a working locker. Not the cleanest place. Would not stay there again.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025ostello molto comodo, il letto era confortevole, il bagno pulito, la cucina attrezzata e lo staff simpatico! sono stata 3 notti in una camerata mista dove però eravamo solo in 2 o 3 quindi davvero esperienza top. La cucina è attrezzata di tutto, forse avrei gradito una migliore suddivisione dei ripiani per riporre cibo nella cucina e nel frigo
nulla. non è esattamente nel quartieer st. pauli ma molto comodo con mezzi e anche a piedi

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Mein Aufenthalt im Pauls Hostel in Hamburg war sehr angenehm. Der Host war stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Er hat auf Fragen schnell reagiert und gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt in Hamburg gegeben. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswerter Ort für einen unkomplizierten und angenehmen Aufenthalt.
