The decor was a bit ‘dated’ but the Receptionist more than compensated by being very welcoming and helpful.

THE STAFF WERE FANTASTIC, EXCELLENT LOCATION NICE AND QUIET FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, FOR A 3 STAR HOTEL WE FOUND IT TO BE GREAT VALUE AND OF A HIGH STANDARD, 👏

TO BE HONEST THERE WAS NOTHING WE DIDN'T LIKE.

Lift not working ( had a bad knee) stairs were very gradual, not steep.

Clean, quiet & a very short walk to the main part of town & bus station. The staff was very friendly & accomodating. They even arranged a cab to take us to a local park with scenic ruins. We enjoyed the breakfast included in our stay. Although we visited during a historic heatwave (by local standards), a table fan & open window kept us comfortable.

Our room had a very very bad odour coming from the drains in the bathroom, so bad that we had to damp two towels and put them over the drain in the shower and the bath. This is the only thing I can fault but it was so bad it ruined our stay

The welcome at reception when checking in was lovely, really friendly staff. Food was very nice, again, very welcoming staff and great service. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned particularly well from previous guest(s), curtain lining badly ripped so the light was streaming in from early hours, bedside table light blown. Hotel staff did apologise when advised though and i'm sure could have been rectified early on had they known.

A historic, family-run hotel with an excellent restaurant on site. The staff are exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful. It is truly rare to find such outstanding service in hotels these days. The hotel restaurant is of Michelin-star quality. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the desserts are absolutely fantastic. A special mention goes to a lovely and friendly waitress named Dovilė, who could easily be considered a food expert. I highly recommend having both lunch and dinner at this hotel restaurant. Thank you to the wonderful staff and the friendly team for making our stay so enjoyable. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the beds are comfortable, and the towels and bed linen are changed regularly. Everything is spotless and beautifully maintained. The only downside is that the shower cabin is extremely small and not well suited for larger guests.

The only significant downside of the hotel is the breakfast provided. If you have the option to exclude breakfast from your booking and not pay for it, I would strongly recommend doing so, as the breakfast was extremely poor and disappointing. The fruit that was served appeared to be old, with some pieces looking dried out and past their best. The blueberries seemed far from fresh, and the ham served alongside the yogurt looked dried out and unappetizing. Overall, it gave the impression that some of the breakfast items had been sitting out for far too long. The two croissants provided were also noticeably stale and hard. Unfortunately, the breakfast quality was far below the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel and represents a significant area for improvement. This was the only aspect of our stay that left us disappointed.

A lovely hotel just off the high street. Easy parking next to the hotel main entrance. A very warm welcome was granted to me on arrival. Room was a suite & very spacious, fabulous bed very comfortable with a tv in the bed !! Luxurious spa bath with a separate huge shower. Lots of lights & very nice nice decor. Excellent value for money

Felt very much at home in this hotel.Decor was perfect. Fabulous breakfast. Sizzling chicken was the best we tasted. Reception staff and all other staff were cheerful at all times. A big thank you to Kelly for her thoughfullness .We were soaked through after getting caught in a downpower.Kelly brought a radiator to our room to enable us to dry our clothes. 10 out of 10 for everything about this hotel and staff. Highly recommend it.

The staff, When we arrived, we were met with a very happy face and greeting,This was the case with all staff in our entire stay. The room and bathroom itself was nicely refurbed, modern look. The bed very comfortable and clean. The meals were superb both in the evening and the breakfast also.

I think the carpet in the bedroom could do with a change, I could get a little fusty smell.

Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Lage war gut. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Parkplatz. Frühstück war lecker.

Bar closed early so had to go else where for a drink, not really a big deal though as the hotel is central.

Everything. Reprobates and smokers at the door. Barbed wire on the fences around the parking lot. Ancient and not updated. No elevators, no AC and one of the rooms smelled of sewage. It was awful!!!! There were drinks all night outside the window and it was stifling hot. The staff tried to do their best but it wasn’t enough. We endured one night and left. Booking.com or any other third party seller should never use this hotel. The reviews are false and it was truly an awful experience aside form the comp drinks while they tried to reduce the smell in the room.

Comfortable beds Good white towels and plenty of toiletries. Rooms had beeb up dated recently. Staff very pleasant.

Breakfast was poor. We handed back the coffee and asked for tea. It was dreadful. It seems like the same pots are used for both. There was a walk in menu which offered Americanos etc. I can't see why this wouldn't be given to guests.

Bei geöffnetem Fenster kann man nicht schlafen, alle Zimmer liegen direkt zur Straße raus! Das Frühstück war enttäuschend, kaum frische Sachen, die Früchte, die angeboten wurden, waren teils verdorben.
