Northern Lights Village Saariselkä

Man stolpert immer erst über den Preis, bis man merkt, dass Abendessen á la Carte und Frühstück inclusive ist. Abendessen Vorspeise, Hauptmahlzeit und Desert zur Auswahl. Sehr gut. Frühstück International in gutem Ambiente. Ich bin jetzt das 2. mal dort gewesen und für mich ist das eine echte Empfehlung. Übernachtet habe ich in der Auora Cabin. Das sind kleine, gemütliche 2 Personen Holzhütten. Ausreichend groß. Sanitäre Anlagen modern, sauber. Für große Menschen etwas schwierig, da man sich schon mal den Kopf stößt. Ein Fakekamin (elektrisch) dient der Gemütlichkeit. Betten sehr bequem. Mir hat das sehr gut gefallen. Parkplatz ist ca. 100 m entfernt. Man kann aber kurz an die Hütte fahren um die Koffer auszuräumen. Es gibt in der Nähe einen Aussichtspunkt, von dem man super bei passendem Wetter das Naturschauspiel beobachten und fotografieren kann.

Ausschilderung ist schlecht. Der entscheidene Wegweiser fehlt. Die Wegebeleuchtung ist zu hell. Sie stört etwas die Sicht auf die Polarlichter. Der Ort ist etwas abgelegen. Ein Supermarkt ist aber in der Nähe (ca. 800 m). Für mich war das kein Thema, da ich mit dem Auto da war. Zu Fuß ist der aber auch gut zu erreichen.

Mökki oli aivan ihana! Todella viihtyisä ja kotoisa. Illallinen oli erinomaista (aamupala sen jälkeen hieman pettymys, mutta perus jutut löytyi ja vatsan sai täyteen). Ympäristö oli rauhallinen ja täydellinen paikka rentoutumiseen. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Koska yöpyjiä ei ollut paljoa, sain ajaa auton lähelle mökkiä.

Kylpyhuoneessa/wc:ssä oli muutamia moitteita: bidee ei yltänyt wc-istuimelle, eikä suihkussa ollut käteen otettavaa suihkupäätä. Pyyhkeille ei ollut koukkua, johon ripustaa. Henkilökunta puhui vain englantia.

Dîner et petit déjeuner très insuffisants et indignes d un établissement de ce type. Parking voiture éloigné de l hébergement ce qui n est pas pratique en cas de pluie.

Das Übernachten im Glasiglu im Northern Lights Village war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Das Essen – ob Frühstück oder Abendessen – war abwechslungsreich und frisch und sehr lecker! Die wunderschöne Anlage mitten in der Natur und das Schlafen unter dem Sternenhimmel waren einfach atemberaubend.

Ontzettend vriendelijke staff die voor elke vraag klaarstaan met een goed en handig antwoord. Prachtige locatie en hutten. Ik verbleef er 2 nachten op mezelf en zag meteen de eerste avond anderhalf uur lang dansende aurora borealis. De sauna is ook een echte aanrader, heel erg mooi, heel proper en echt genieten, zeker na een dagje skieën. Ook vervoer naar de skiliften en de luchthaven was heel gemakkelijk geregeld. Niet twijfelen!!

Essen war mehr von Quantität anstatt Qualität, es war okay aber eher wie in den meisten Kantineb (Das Buffet hätte mehr Auswahl haben und von besserer Qualität sein können). Man hat die leeren Teller der Gäste vor den Gästen auf einem Servierwagen abgeräumt - war jetzt nicht so apetitlich beim Anblick.. Wir hätten uns erwartet, dass beim ersten Abendessen das Servicepersonal auf uns zukommt und erklärt wie alles abläuft (auch, dass man die Getränke selbst an der Bar bestellen und auch gleich bezahlen muss)

Place was quiet and bed was comfortable for rest. All staffs were very friendly, quick response. Winter activities were phenomenal. We booked and enjoyed our winter activities before we came and stay there for our last two days of our trip.

Hot water didn’t last long enough. We didn’t bring this up to the reception, since we were busy on the go to explore other countries during our stay. We came back showered and slept at night. Not sure if it was only our cabin or was it for all cabins. Please double check with facility.

The cabin, the food, the surroundings.... It was al really nice. I could wait in the restaurant after check out and making use of coffee, tea and water free of charge. The food was really good.

素晴らし過ぎました、また戻ってきて次は連泊！！ アクティビティがたくさんある！ スタッフたちもみんな超親切、、 今回はホットタブタイプのサウナを追加料金で利用したけど、最高すぎた、、 朝食と夕食もついててコスパ良過ぎるから、少し贅沢なひとり旅にもおすすめ！ コスパいいから天気悪くてオーロラ観れなくても満足した笑

Property was very good. Location in very good. For vegetarians food options are quite limited. I preferred Jain meals and had very hard time explaining the same. I ended eating the food that i carried my self even though i had opted half board meal plan. Staff can be more helpful and provide some basic service like carrying the luggage, few in room service, nearest bus station transfers as part of the booking as they are so heavily charged.

Die Übernachtung in der Suite war hervorragend, das Zimmer war großräumig, super aufgeteilt und modern eingerichtet. Die Aussicht vom Bett aus ist toll und man konnte den Sternenhimmel beobachten, leider nicht die Polarlichter, aber das ist die Natur. Der Transfer von unserer Unterkunft zum Haupthaus, bei dem es Essen gab, hat gut funktioniert, auch ohne vorherige Buchung und spontanem Transportwunsch.

Das Abendessen- und Frühstücksbuffet war sehr Basic. Mit Glutenunverträglichkeit hatte ich es schwer, nicht alle vom Personal kannten sich gut aus und haben Lebensmittel als glutenfrei beschrieben, die es offensichtlich nicht waren. Das war schwierig und für den Preis erwarte ich, dass ich mehr bekomme als ein paar Scheiben Toastbrot zum Frühstück und abends Gemüse.

Dovrebbero garantire più spostamenti per vedere l’aurora, mediante escursioni ecc perché se il cielo lì é nuvoloso non significa che lì vicino non possa essere libero ed essendo un posto completamente isolato potrebbero integrare i servizi. Noi siamo stati 3 notti ma il cielo era completamente coperto, siamo riusciti a vederla grazie ad una escursione che casualmente avevamo prenotato mesi prima altrimenti niente

Luckily, I could see Aurora in three nights. Husky safari is must-do list. Also, the water pool in sauna is one of the coldest water pools in the world. I enjoyed it. The room guarantee you to privately stay. Also, staff are friendly and always helpful.

La doccia attaccata al wc (ogni volta che fai la doccia, bagni tutto). Quando esci dalla vasca idromassaggio rischi di scivolare a causa della scalino di ghiaccio.

The cabin on the edge of the forest exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, decor and the gas fire added ambience. The glass “igloo” viewing of the auroras was exceptional as the location is remote so no light pollution. I signed up for the alerts (included in my stay) and being woken up was worth it because the strongest auroras happened after 11pm.

The transfer of luggage was extra on top of the significant price I paid. Dietary requirements an after thought even though I advised early and confirmed. This may have been a miscommunication between sales team and the chef.

Bütün gece boyunca kuzey ışıklarını görme fırsatı buldum. Aurora alarm sistemi anında bildirim gönderdi ve neredeyse her yarım saatte bir kuzey ışıklarını gördüm. Muhteşemdi.

Phenomenal location, really scenic and peaceful. The cabins are absolutely beautiful, really lovely and warm in the cold with the ability to defrost windows when they ice up to preserve the view. We had a cabin with a lovely forest view and it was just perfect for our trip and we could see some aurora through the glass roof!! Staff were very kind and helpful and the facilities were great. I honestly wish I could have stayed there longer it was truly a dream!!

O quarto tendo a possibilidade de ver a aurora é o ponto forte, junto com as atividades, o hotel tb oferece roupas de inverno, mesmo q vc ja tenha, vale a pena usar pq são melhores. O banheiro é pequeno e gelado, geralmente em outros hoteis sao aquecidos.

L'endroit est un gros complexe. Nous qui n'aimons pas trop la foule, il faut savoir que nous n'avons pas ressenti le côté privilégié et exclusif, dommage vu le prix. Le premier logement dans lequel nous avons été mis avait un problème de chauffage, il y faisait très froid. Nous avons pu changer de chambre qqls heures plus tard.

The views from the igloos, if you are lucky enough you can see the northern lights clearly and stay warm. Even without the lights, watching the stars is great.

It wasn’t clean. There was hair in the sink. Also we experienced an electricity cut with no heating for more than an hour and the reception did not pick up the phones. That was quite scary and the stres ruined some of the experience.

Las habitaciones son limpias, equipadas con todo lo necesario y las tienen perfectas. Son Divinas! Y en general todo el hotel es muy bien cuidado. Me encantó que son muy cuidadosos y conscientes del medio ambiente y de tener los animales bien cuidados. Hice el tour de los renos y ha sido de las mejores experiencias, muy privado y siempre buscando que los renos no se sientan en amenaza. Quiero agradecer a la recepcionista de pelo rojo y gafas, no recuerdo su nombre, fue muy especial conmigo ❤️ y al chico nuevo de los renos ya que tuvimos una conversación agradable y me enseñó sobre ellos. Viaje sola y siempre fueron muy amables

Lo único en lo que tenía otras expectativas fue el Aurora by the lake, realmente es una experiencia de fogata y bebidas, más no, la búsqueda de auroras boreales. Todo el tiempo estuvimos adentro tomando bebidas y aprendiendo sobre cómo prender una fogata, pero realmente no es un tour que recomiende si quieres cazar auroras

직원들이 매우 친절하고 다양한 프로그램이 많아 좋았다. 숙소가 추울까봐 걱정됐는데 바닥까지 따뜻해서 전혀 문제없었고 쇼파배드도 넓고 일반 침대같아서 성인2, 아이2이 편안하게 잤다. 식사도 간결하게 맛있었고, 스키복수트를 무료로 빌려주어 너무 좋았다. 숙소에서 나가지 않고 2박3일동안 리조트에서만 즐겁게 놀았다. 오로라를 본 것도 행운이었다!!

짐을 숙소로 옮길때 썰매가 아닌 차로 도움을 주었으면 했다. 짐이 많고 썰매가 얼어 체크아웃할때 고생했다.

ガラスイグルーは暖かく快適でした。 しかし、シャワーの湯が10分間しか出ず、30分以上待機しても再度暖かくなることはなく、冷たい思いをしました。 また、料理も美味しく、様々なものがあり充実していました。 ホテルが街から徒歩(15分)圏内であり、スーパーやスキリゾートへも出向けたのがよかったです。 ホテル敷地内でトナカイとの触れ合いやハスキーライディング等のアクティビティも可能です。

オーロラを見るには周りが明るすぎる点がマイナス評価です。

Die Preise für die Ausflüge sind sehr hoch. Es ist ein ganz besonderer Urlaub- da gönnt man es sich. Dennoch sicherlich kein günstiger Urlaub.

There is no one to help you with your luggage to your cabin... which is uphill. The reception doesn't open until 8am in d morning.. If u have an early flight or bus.. You have to wait outside in the cold.. !

iglu oli väärin rakennettu,puuttui korvausilmansaanti,2 vrk oltuani hakeuduin hoitoon Ivaloon terveyskeskukseen,olin siellä tutkimuksissa ja sen jälkeen sain kyllä toisen iglun missä toimi ilmansaanti hyvin mutta kun kysyin että ottaako hotelli osaa kuluihin mitkä tuli hoidossa ollessani niin jyrkkä ei,ei kuulu heille,sain vastauksen!!!
