The breakfast was delicious, although only filter coffee, no cappuccino etc. They brought it out quickly, it was lovely, hot and of good quality. The bathroom was nicely decorated, ignoring the loo seat that was much smaller than the loo and the lack of a bath mat or bath towel.
The stench of air freshener was too much. It was over powering. I don't know if there had been an accident that someone was trying to cover up but it was dreadful. The bed was two singles pulled together, the join in the bed and duvet was very obvious and uncomfortable and the mattress needed replacing some years ago, quite lumpy. The bedroom was a great size but poorly decorated and all the furniture was bashed and in need of a refurb.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Badgers Mount. We attended a function in the marquee at the hotel and it was lovely. During our stay the staff were amazing; friendly, helpful and accommodating. Although we didn’t use the swimming pool it did look inviting. We booked one of the double rooms which was small but perfectly okay for our one night stay. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and high quality ingredients. We will definitely return
It was a great venue with the added joy of a swimming pool, which the children in the group really enjoyed.
We were in a large group booking with many tables, i thought the wait between table to be served was a little long.
Really well located for Mallory Park, light spacious & comfortable bedrooms, all in all a good hotel that we stay at regularly when in the area.
Always clean nice Hotel with secure CarPark
All good from me
Nice large room, comfy bed, outdoor pool nice cooked to order breakfasts food in restaurant also nice. Not overly cheap but they do have daily deals and a set menu.
10am checkout - would appreciate later Pool use for residents - would like more flexibility on being to use pool for longer around your stay. We did stay at a very hot time so more popular than normal I guess. But still felt it was overtly restrictive.
The pool was open until 10.30pm.and it was heated! We was having hot chocolates and meteour spotting it was brilliant
The bed was a bit small but I'm being picky
Beautiful little place would definitely recommend
Homely hotel, very cute

Pool and location
Nice room. Nice staff. Dinner and breakfast were also very good.

The private location and the wonderful room. Breakfast was great.
Not allowing a check in of 11pm on the night of the wedding meaning the mother of the groom had to leave the reception half way through to check in on their behalf. The time they’d be arriving was clearly documented early on in the booking.
Location of room and Outdoor pool Evening meal breakfast very good.
Bed was VERY uncomfortable , sink didn’t drain , bathroom door makeshift lock, side light didn’t work, bathroom door was not secure or on hinges, only attached at the top which meant it was easy for a child to injure themselves.
The pool would have been really nice but they do day passes for people not staying at the hotel so it was extremely busy with lots of kids in it all day. Great for kids and day visitors but not great for people staying at the hotel for a relaxing pool break. You couldn't get in the water as it was full of kids. It's probably fine on weekdays during term time but we went during summer holidays so it spoilt it for us as we only went because it had a pool
The pool would have been really nice but they do day passes for people not staying at the hotel so it was extremely busy with lots of kids in it all day. Great for kids and day visitors but not great for people staying at the hotel for a relaxing pool break. You couldn't get in the water as it was full of kids jumping in and splashing about. It's probably quieter on weekdays during term time but we went during summer holidays so it spoilt it for us as we only went because it had a pool. Also food was quite expensive and £3.00 for a packet of crisps was a bit extortionate.
A really positive experience from beginning to end. After a horrible long journey on a hot day we arrived at our cool comfy ground floor room with access through potion doors to a small terrace and beyond that the hotel pool. Quite reasonably it was quiet busy but by 6.30 it was quiet. We had a lovely swim and went back in the next morning again. Lovely veggie breakfast, and dog friendly too. Staff all efficient and lovely.
Lovely room very clean - friendly & helpful staff
Nothing
Spacious room, plenty of parking, friendly staff.
Breakfast was an expensive option. Shower was hit and miss getting it to work at a decent temperature. Although the room was tidy it felt a little tired.
This is a lovely country style location easy to get to with private car parking and good facilities we had a ground floor room with private terrace and our own access to the outside pool. Sophia was extremely helpful prior to making our booking and Sharon was our confirmation contact and she was on duty during our stay and showed excellent customer service (I decline adding photos to protect other guests and members of the public who were also using the facilities)
All of the staff were amazing and extremely helpful and the young lady at breakfast Dee was a diamond
The pool
We had paid to use the pool and have some drinks and something to eat. Sadly we left after an hour. When we arrived for our booked session at 3 pm. We were told to wait outside the hotel and form a queue. We were not allowed to have a drink in the bar whilst we were waiting for our pool session. Upon entering we were subjected to a bag search and told to go through the hotel. I had to ask a member of staff where to go as I hadn’t been before. Upon reaching the pool I was surprised how small the pool was and lack of sunloungers or comfortable seating. After purchasing a drink at the bar proceed to the terrace tables. Shortly afterwards we were told to move by a member of staff saying this area was reserved for guests staying at the hotel despite the area being completely empty. We also found that food would not be served until an hour and a half into our session. We were made to feel like second class citizens. We had paid to use the pool and were purchasing refreshments from the hotel but sadly the hotel did not feel our custom was important enough to extend to common courtesy and comfort. Safe to say we will not be returning to the hotel..
Restaurant and bar areas nice modern and clean
Room was abit dated. Sofa bed uncomfortable. Wasn’t told about a wedding being held and didn’t feel like we could use the pool as the wedding party had vertically taken over the outside area. Also gluten free pizza was ok but probably a frozen one.
Location was great, easy parking. Decent size room and an actual king bed ! Good shower and internet. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Not much - was good
I have already left my feedback very poor
Sold a dream delivered nothing cancelled my booking when we got there
Yes lovely staff & owners
Fridge in the room would be lovely especially in hot weather
Friendly staff and ample parking
View was huge green container! Smokers stood outside room windows so its smelt badly of cigarettes and wardrobe was unusable as door hung wrong way round!
Lovely staff could not have been more helpful. Nice hotel
The pool was open to the public which we didn’t know when we booked . Due to heat it was overcrowded with children. Babies without nappies in pool , kids jumping and on inflatables in a small packed pool despite signs but there was no one to enforce any of the rules . I had a ball thrown at me and got abused by the mother . Not the quiet break I had hoped for . Also charged me £13 for one piece of toast with an egg is ridiculous .
Always helpful and great staff and a very good restaurant menu
Nothing - it’s exactly as described and as you expect
Absolutely beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. Chefs were extremely good with dietary needs. Room was perfect! We paid a little extra for the pool side room. It was perfect perfect perfect. Pool great when not busy.
The only thing that could've been better was that there were a lot of children in the pool in the day time (our fault for booking school holiday time) it made it hard to use the pool in the public slot times. I'm disabled and got kicked a few times in my bad leg and my partner in the man parts haha. We weren't cross as we understand and was nice to see the kids having a lovely time, however, it would've been nice to be able to use it more.
Everything all very good especially The food 😋

Thank you all for a fab stay we will be back.
Posizione, cordialità dello staff e cucina
The room was clean and spacious with lovely view
Nothing not to like
The outdoor pool was heated and ideal for us as a family to use, my 1-year old daughter love it. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast I'd ever had, so much choice and utterly delicious.
Luckily we had our car as there's no local shop in walking distance, however there was a co-op a 5-minute drive which we used for essentials.
Friendly welcome and a spotless, comfortable room. Such a lovely venue
Breakfast is excellent, the room I had was excellent and there was a good choice of menu for evening meal
Nothing, everything was perfect
Great staff looked after us and provided safe parking for my motorbike, good info on what was available in the hotel as well as locally. Excellent food menu, decent bar, overall a great place to stay.
The weather 😁
The staff on the day shift was amazing 10/10 will be returning again
It was perfect
Good parking, great pool, good burst
Uncomfortable mattress
Didn't stay long enough to like anything.
If you are going to operate as a regular wedding venue, you shouldn't sell the few remaining rooms to unsuspecting customers and you certainly should not have a wedding disco right under a bedroom that you are selling. I'm not interested in your policy; you failed to disclose that there would be a very noisy event on that night and should refund in full.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Everything 👌👍
We had a junior suite for 1 night. The view out of the “field view” room was of a large green container. The side gate to the pool was accessible at the side of the room and as it was a hot night we attempted to sleep with windows open however people were stood smoking and talking next to our open windows. The wardrobe was positioned terribly so we couldn’t access it. Room and bathroom basic, needs modernising but was acceptable and we actually slept ok. Room was incredibly hot - radiators on but we turned them off and opened the windows.
Excellent meal
Room very quiet. Very comfortable bed.Staff extremely professional/. Very good value for money. Very dog friendly.

Booked a classic double for one night. The bed was so uncomfortable I woke several times, as the mattress was lumpy and hard and when I sat on the edge it folded together. Someone in the next room had the TV on, so that kept us awake for a while. This room definitely needs some TLC. The sink in the bathroom was so loose, almost ready to fall off . The bath was chipped on the bottom and it had turned brown. The sloping wall over the bath was stained brown, obviously hasn’t been painted for some time. The bath panel had been repaired at some point, but the panelling didn’t meet up with the wall. There were dead flies in the ceiling light. It’s a shame, as this could be made into a lovely room, it lacks care. I have driven past this hotel so many times to visit family, and always wanted to stay, so I was given a voucher as a gift, I was so utterly disappointed. Breakfast was good, but please provide covers or lids for the milk and orange juice jugs.
good room, bathroom and swimming pool. bottle of water supplied. nice breakfast area and exceptional full english breakfast, comfy bed
breakfast is expensive if you only need something simple. unimaginative evening menu, no real ale
What a lovely afternoon tea. Plenty of tea choice, good quality food, great portions served by friendly professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. A delightful Sunday afternoon. Thank you.
Food was amazing, staff excellent. Didn't want to leave
All of it !!!!!!?
Passendes Zimmer, sehr gutes und bequemes Bett, Frühstück; English-Breakfast mit allem was das Herz begehrt !
Nichts
Quiet, staff good, lady on reception was lovely. Food was nice too.
The rooms are slightly dated and you can hear what’s going on in the next room. TV’s should be upgraded to smart TV’s. Although clean and spacious, could do with a few extra tweaks and would be fabulous.
The kids loved the pool and poolside room
Would of been nice if the poolside room could fit a family of 4 as we had to book additional room
Friendly atmosphere and at a very reasonable price.
Location, comfortable beds, shower, close to pub for dinner
Only 1 super small bottle of shower wash for 2 people.
Good sized room. Access corridor would have been a bit narrow I'd used my mobility scooter. Clean room & comfortable bed.
Would have preferred wal in shower rather that shower over bath.
I booked a stay in the spa bath room as a treat after a bad day at work. The parking was convenient and both receptionist i met were polite and helpful. However the spa bath in my room was old and not as clean as i expected- there were hairs and the jets looked dirty- i cleaned it myself and used it anyway as i just wanted to relax on that day and mainly booked my stay because of the spa bath. I had a good night sleep as the bed was very comfy but unfortunately i did a mistake and forgot my phone charger in the room when checked out on the next day. I phoned reception the day after and they told me the charger was not found by the cleaners which i found very disappointing as i only had a backpack and my charger was definitely not in it. I understand that forgetting my charger was my bad but however took it could at least wait a few days before keeping it. That said i won't visit Badgers Mount again and won't recommend it to others
Bathroom cleanness My phone charger was taken
Our room was amazing. The children’s bed was really spacious.
My uncle was upset as it was his 80th and he wanted to watch the rugby. We were told the tv was.not allowed on in the room we had dinner in.
Great location. Beautiful spacious rooms. Great staff and amazing food
NA - Was amazing
Fantastic young barstaff
The location of the hotel was ideal to where we were going. Just 4 minutes drive away. Also, it was easy to find the hotel to check in at night.
On arrival we were given the wrong room because they mistakenly gave it to someone else. We had to show proof of reservation before they could do anything. They had to relocate that person and prepare our superior twin room that I booked.
Large but very cosy suite. Amazing staff and food
Nothing. Was perfect for what we needed
Lovely people, kind and caring
All good
Very homely, full of character. Room lovely
Bathroom a bit damaged, water leaked outside the shower onto the floor.
What a place! Lovely welcome at reception. Great room with the junior suite. Snelled so fresh. Good gorgeous and so fresh. Will be back soon
Professional team. Great service. Excellent food and drink. Loved the room (junior suite) - very big and bright. Comfortable bed.
Noise from a shower in another room, especially at 5.15am! Our shower was a little difficult to adjust. Quickly became too hot or cold but managed well enough.
The staff were very nice and friendly.
The shower ran a bit hot and cold when in use.
Nice big room. Very comfortable.
The shower wasn’t brilliant.
Amazing stay. Such lovely staff. Room was lovely and food outstanding.
Friendly staff, good evening meal choices and excellent breakfast. Bedroom comfortable, bed excellent and shower hot and powerful. Good value with Dinner, bed and breakfast and a drink for under £125
Nothing
A great Hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Especially Dee who is the "Breakfast lady", her smile and friendly greeting in the morning makes your day😀 The restaurant staff are equally welcoming and make you feel at home. And the food is great, correctly cooked and presented with style. Love the grounds, and speaking to the Robert the gardener about how he plans the flowers etc to reflect seasons is really informative. And just loved the robot he uses to clean the swimming pool ! A great place to stay and I will be going again soon.
Always enjoy our stays its great location when visiting family
Friendly staff, great location and fabulous breakfast sets us up for the long drive back home
Very friendly welcome - all the staff were very friendly - bedroom/bathroom very clean and comfortable - with a (small) bath. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked and friendly staff on hand to help and take our orders. Spent a couple of hours in the bar over drinks to relax after our journey, again the bar staff very friendly and attentive. Overall very pleasant stay.
Bedroom was on first floor up a 'narrow' timber stairs. Could hear sound from other guests TV at about 11.30pm and trains passing nearby occasionally sounding horn. It was a very windy night and the youngsters could hear a 'whistling' noise outside their first floor bedroom (maybe a vent terminal/cowl?) through the night.
Afternoon tea was lovely, so much food. Lovely waitress, enjoyable experience
We paid for 75+ for our room, we checking in and dropped our bags then went out for a meal. By this point it was late and to late to change rooms. The bathroom was not good. The bath had broken seals and joins/grouting. The grouting was a discoloured, missing, pulling apart. Just didn't look appealing and clean. The shower tap had clearly been moved and changed position due the hole and cracked tiles. Unable to use the bath, you couldn't enjoy yourself as would be staring at the rundown grouting, gaps and discoloured. On further looking other residents have had the same issue with this room, as described the same. Room facing the carpark, room 6 ect. The bed was solid. And you can hear everything from your neighbours, bathroom light on, off, on off. When they walked around there room, our floor board moved. Could literally feel the movement from our bed. Would not recommend stopping
Clean, comfortable and good value. Staying again in March and May
Loved the restaurant
The lighting in the bedrooms were not that great unfortunately and there was no TV, but that was OK.
All good
Convenient clean
Staff helped us with a very late booking for dinner when we were let down elsewhere!
Overall could not fault our stay.
Friendly staff.Comfortable room very nice breakfast
