Wavelength Hotel & Wellness Center

I had a lovely stay at wavelength hotel. The construction is now completed and the hotel looks beautiful and well finished. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere with a good selection of food. The staff were welcoming. We also enjoyed the ayurvedic treatment. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room was clean and calm. And also breakfast is usually at 8:30, but I asked them to serve mine earlier, so they did. They had so many different options for breskfast. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I also tried one of their Ayurvedic treatments, and it was a really good experience. It’s actually worth more than what I I paid for it.

Ich rate aus gesundheitlichen Gründen deutlich von diesem Hotel ab. Der Empfang war freundlich und das Zimmer machte auf den ersten Blick einen ordentlichen Eindruck. Allerdings wurde offenbar sehr viel Raumspray verwendet, sodass der Schimmelgeruch zunächst kaum wahrnehmbar war. Nachdem wir den Nachmittag außerhalb des Hotels verbracht hatten und erst später am Abend zurückkehrten, war der Duft des Raumsprays verflogen und ein deutlicher Schimmelgeruch im Zimmer wahrnehmbar. Zusätzlich befanden sich zahlreiche Ameisen im Zimmer und Haare im Bett. Unter diesen Umständen haben wir uns entschieden, das Hotel noch am selben Abend zu verlassen. Leider zeigte sich die Hotelmanagerin dabei nicht besonders kooperativ, sodass wir trotz der geschilderten Mängel eine Übernachtung bezahlen mussten. Aufgrund des starken Schimmelgeruchs und der hygienischen Mängel kann ich das Hotel daher nicht empfehlen.

Der Empfang war zunächst freundlich und das Zimmer wirkte auf den ersten Blick in Ordnung. Es roch allerdings sehr stark nach Raumspray. Den Nachmittag habe ich bissig kurze Zeit außerhalb des Zimmers verbracht. Als ich am Abend zurückkam, war der Geruch des Raumsprays verschwunden, stattdessen roch das Zimmer deutlich nach Schimmel. Bei genauerem Hinsehen war an vielen Stellen, sogar an den Möbeln, Schimmel zu erkennen, der offenbar versucht worden war wegzuwischen. Zudem sah ich viel Staub und Haare im Bett. Ich habe mir daraufhin ein anderes Zimmer angesehen, dort war ebenfalls Schimmel vorhanden. Als ich deshalb abreisen wollte, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich auf jeden Fall eine Nacht bezahlen müsse. Obwohl ich das Zimmer bis auf die Toilette kaum genutzt hatte, wurde mehrfach darauf hingewiesen, dass ich bereits neun Stunden dort gewesen sei. Als ich anbot, diese neun Stunden zu bezahlen, wurde dies abgelehnt, obwohl die Inhaberin genau diese Rechnung aufgestellt hatte. Während des Telefonats wurden mehrfach weitere Personen zugeschaltet, ohne dass diese etwas zur Klärung beitrugen. Schließlich wurde mir mit der Polizei gedroht, falls ich die Nacht nicht bezahlen und das Hotel nun verlassen würde. Insgesamt eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung, die nach 9 Monate Reisen so noch nie hatte.

Kamers zeer vies. Haren in het doucheputje, veel schimmel in badkamer en slaapkamer, wc-bril zat volledig los, wasbak zat volledig los. We hadden via het hotel een excursie geboekt om walvissen te gaan spotten. We stonden buiten op de afgesproken 6.15 maar er kwam niemand opdagen. Volgens het hotel was dit een foutje. Kortom, zeker geen aanrader wat ons betreft

I visited this hotel in Mirissa recently, and it was a highly disappointing experience. Despite its star rating, the service was extremely poor and unprofessional. The staff was unresponsive, and the overall management was unsatisfactory. I definitely do not recommend this place for anyone looking for good service."

No tissue. No brush and paste in the room. Dirty courtyard Dirty and wet breakfast place. Breakfast time was 8:30 AM. Should have been early. Still they were unable to serve in time. They served at 8:50 AM. Shortage of glasses were seen. From the morning till breakfast time was over none was seen at reception

There is construction going on so you are looking at a building site. Breakfast has a lot of room for improvement. The breakfast area is grim. It’s on a construction site.

Unfertiges Gebäude, was ein ungemütliches Gefühl auslöst, Frühstück in unfertigen Gebäude, nasser Boden durch den Regen, mussten ständig in der Einfahrt und zum Frühstück zu kommen durch Schlamm gehen, Zimmer ist an sich schon schön, leider waren bei uns alle Kleidungen durch den Regen feucht und nass/ klamm und das Zimmer hat es leider nicht trocknen können, da dort selbst dort alles so feucht war.

It needs lots of cleaning and maintenance. Hot water was an issue but sorted when we told them. No second day cleaning even we asked them to do. Towels and bedding are very dirty. However staff were friendly.

The best hotel I have stayed in so far during my trip in Sri Lanka. Excellent facilities; air conditioning, hot shower, balcony for drying swim shorts and towels. Comfy bed, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is plentiful with fresh fruit, toast and omelettes on offer. 2 minutes walk to the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean pool, perfect for a late afternoon dip. I also had a massage in the rooftop wellness suite, Ravi was great!

We stayed in deluxe 2 rooms at wavelength hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was tastefully presented, clean, and very comfortable with excellent facilities. They offered a calm and relaxing retreat. The swimming pool and beautifully maintained gardens added a lovely touched.considering the quality of stay, the price was excellent value. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway !!!!

Best facilities

I had a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as I had hoped, and the space made me feel right at home. It was one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy your time without worrying about anything. I'd happily stay here again.

I stayed here with my family. The room is good and also loved the balcony & swimming pool. My kids loved swimming & it was clean. The breakfast also good. Staffs are very humble and helpful. I will visit this place again next time.

I had a really pleasant stay at Wavelength Hotel. Everything from arrival to departure was well organized, and I felt at ease during my visit. The room was clean, well-kept, and very comfortable to stay in. The hotel team was friendly and professional, always available when needed. I also liked the breakfast each morning, which was fresh and enjoyable. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I would be happy to stay here again.

La situation est parfaite: Beach Mirissa, secret Beach, spa. Le personnel est souriant, à l’écoute. La propreté est excellente, literie, salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est variée et très riche. La piscine est propre et chaude. Un hôtel qui mérite un 10 en raison du rapport qualité prix. Je recommande.

Location was perfect, short walk to the beach and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool and sun beds were comfy and clean.

Breakfast was advertised until 10:30, however at 10am the buffet was virtually empty. Trees by pool could do with a trim.

They mixed up all of our laundry and I had to sort through mine and another girls underwear in the lobby. And they lost one of my tops that I never got back. Not much apology or any resolution from them. Don't recommend unfortunately

The stuff members are really welcoming and friendly. Smooth checkin and out. The perfect location to beaches and restaurants and cafes. The stuff arranged safari and airport drop off with Smooth trip. We felt home. We don't think we thank them enough. Looking forward to stay again

I was really happy to find this hotel after staying in a few places locally that weren't really great - the staff here are lovely, the rooms and balcony area was private and comfortable, and the pool area was really nice and calm. Great value also!

Rummet hade en härlig temperatur utan AC. Även poolen hade en behaglig temperatur. Nära till stranden, restauranger och affärer. Trevligt personal. Fantastisk massage på hotellet.

Staff and location were fantastic. The pool was well looked after and clean.

Not all rooms look like the photos. You can hear every noise from the next room bathrooms in the top floor rooms. There was also a lot of noises from the incomplete 4th floor directly above the 3rd floor rooms.

"We had an incredible stay at this family-run hotel in Marissa. The family room was spacious and perfect for us. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice and delicious! The pool was lovely and clean. But the real stars were the staff, especially Nisham, who went above and beyond during a family emergency. He was a huge help and translated everything for us. Central location, just 2 minutes to the beach. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

De locatie is perfect, heel dichtbij het strand en het centrum van Mirissa is ook heel makkelijk te bereiken in 5 minuten. Het zwembad is voor mij een groot pluspunt, groot, rustig en fijne zonnebedden met handdoeken. De kamer was schoon en had eigenlijk alles wat ik nodig had. Het personeel is aardig en goed bereikbaar.

Het ontbijt is simpel, maar voldoende. Voldoet aan de verwachting van de prijs.

Was really disappointed in breakfast as they only have a few tables and some are in the full sun, so you have to wait for a table to sit in the shade. Both mornings (different times) there was barely any food and it was cold

Great apartment which is close to beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Staff are really friendly and very helpful. Lovely clean swimming pool. We have actually stayed on here due to Middle East issues and unable to get any flights out and staff have been very understanding and have let us stay in the same room rather than changing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed! They call themself ”luxury” hotel and it’s far from that. The room was not clean, table sticky, spider web all over it, they throw previous customer’s cigarette ash in my rooms bin. There were ants everywhere, in my bed. There were moths in the smelly closet and found one ON my pillow. When I asked for proper cleaning, they changed the trash, nothing else. Not even made my bed. Poor breakfast, once I got there half an hour before closing and there was only two toast and nothing. Also there was a temple next to it and prayers were shouted 5.30 in the morning. The customer service sucked, only one woman tried to be nice. Was going to stay 8 nights but had to leave after 3 nights. Did get only one night refund. A joke. Don’t go.

Cleaning was the worst!! They didn’t actually clean. I had to do it myself. The customer service. The brakfast. The temple next door was very loud and started prayershouting at 5.30am.. not quiet at all

It's basic, but the balcony and swimming pool are nice! They have a problem with wind circulation in the room. The location is great, near the beach.

Breakfast was without jam one hour from opening, attend early. Only place in the island where you pay upfront. And the room, all was working but all was basic. And mosquitoes a lot of them.

La gerente del hotel no era cordial ni simpática , no daba buena vibra , el desayuno tipo buffet no estaba mal , pero estaban los trabajadores del hotel encima de ti, parecía que les molestara que cojieras comida , lo mejor fue al irnos y hacer el chek out , la gerente del hotel cuando estábamos en la piscina esperando a nuestro conductor se acercó a nosotros para decirnos que teníamos que pagar unas cervezas que habían encontrado en nuestra habitación dentro de la basura , tuvimos que enseñarle el ticket de cuando las habíamos comprado para que se quedara tranquila , fue bastante violento , no recomiendo este hotel

De ligging was echt top. In het centrum maar buiten de drukte. Personeel was aardig en het zwembad was lekker en goed schoon. Ontbijt is lekker en voor ons genoeg variatie. Strand is echt 2 minuten lopen!

Schoonmaak was1x in de 2 dagen en hiervoor moest je je sleutel inleveren. Hierdoor zaten wij vaker zonder wc papier. Ook zijn ze de schoonmaak een keer vergeten terwijl we wel de sleutel in hadden geleverd.

Great location near the beach and restaurants but still quiet. The room was big and clean and had all the utilities you need. The staff were nice and helpful and our stay here was excellent. There’s a nice pool to take a morning swim or an afternoon dip when you get back from the beach. The hotel offers laundry service and Ayurvedic massage on the rooftop.

Area just beyond pool and to the restaurant bare earth. Restaurant appeared to be unfinished with a roiugh concrete floor without the final smooth surface. Staff friendly enough but not very professional. Food at breakfast pretty horrible if you were not early

Nice pool, cool in the hot weather. Breakfast was ok, a few fruits, some toast, pancakes, omelette, some sponge cake and a few more items.

The room was quite dirty when we got there. Extremely dirty under the bed and all arias that weren’t directly open. The photos are after we asked the cleaner to clean under the bed. There was a big cockroach alive on the floor and some mentos-looking tablets around the room that I guess was for the cockroaches. The toothbrush holder was very dirty as seen in the picture. There is only one baby bed in the hotel. If it’s already used when you get there you can get an extra bed for 10$ per night. When asking about the mentioned free baby bed they gave attitude and the only option was extra bed for 10$/night.

Un séjour mémorable du début à la fin. L’hôtel est magnifique, très propre et parfaitement entretenu. Le personnel est attentionné, accueillant et toujours disponible pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable. La chambre était confortable et calme, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore meilleure.

Absolument rien. Tout était irréprochable. Je recommande vivement cet établissement et j’y reviendrai sans hésiter.
