The location is amazing. We had a view on the Palace Garden! The staff was also very friendly.

La habitación en la que nos alojamos era con vista a un patio interno, donde hay algún depósito o algo por el estilo del café que funciona abajo, es un ruido constante de gente hablando, arrastrando cosas, golpeando botellas, etc.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was exceptionally clean, with a fantastic location and very friendly, welcoming staff. The room had everything we needed, and the highlight was the beautiful, spacious terrace with a stunning view of the Royal Palace. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Posizione ottima, nella piazza davanti al Palazzo Reale, vicina al centro e a tutti i punti principali di interesse. Staff gentile. Aria condizionata funzionante. Dimensioni camera ampie. Una nota di merito alla pulizia, impeccabile, fra le migliori trovate. Consiglierei però una camera con affaccio esterno o quantomeno ad un piano alto.

La cosa peggiore è l'affaccio delle finestre su un cavedio interno con i bidoni della spazzatura e la cucina del ristorante al piano terra e la stanza era al primo piano, quindi proprio sopra. Impossibile aprire le finestre, nascoste dietro un tendone il che rende la camera un po' claustrofobica. L'arredo è ricercato, ma un po' danneggiato: sedia rotta, lavandino scheggiato. Bagno poco illuminato.

Hotel very difficult to find in spite of clear address, because there is a hardly readable sign for the hotel on the street; nothing to signal you arrived. Our taxi driver and ourselves looked for 15 minutes around the block before we finally noticed a tiny plaque for the hotel. In addition, once you have entered the building entrance, the reception is hidden on the second floor. In conclusion unusually stressful arrival

Loved the authentic building, size of the room and its cleanliness. Not to forget the friendly reception staff who were always so kind and helpful. We loved staying here and will return.

Wish there was a bedside lamp but this didn’t detract from our stay.,

Las habitaciones no estan insonorizadas. La primera noche tuve que pedir cambio pq se escuchaba todo el ruido de la habitación de arriba.

Me aloje en una habitación premium con vistas, maravillosa aunque el baño es un poco pequeño. La ubicación y las vistas maravillosas. Hay que tener en cuenta que no es un hotel y no tiene los mismos servicios de restauración. Alina, persona que me atendió en recepción, un encanto y super dispuesta a solucionar cualquier problema.

El wi-fi funciona muy mal a pesar de los intentos por parte de Alina para solucionarlo. Esta es la única razón por la que no le doy un 10.

Right in the heart of old Madrid, friendly and available staff and a gorgeous view (Double Room with panoramic view). The bathroom was a bit small, but won’t complain.

Essa acomodação é perfeita, excelente! A localização não poderia ser melhor, bem em frente ao Palácio Real! A equipe é muito atenciosa e cordial, fizeram o possível para nos acomodar no early check in. O quarto era excelente, super espaçoso, com todas as comodidades possíveis, cama muito confortável, banho ótimo! Não poderia recomendar mais!

Este establecimiento ha superado con creces mis expectativas. La habitación era muy amplia y tranquila, la ubicación inmejorable y dejaban un pequeño detalle de cafés y tés, además de agua fresca en la habitación. Muchos hoteles de categoría superior no prestan ni la mitad de detalle que ellos.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien. No se podía apagar la luz del display y de noche alumbraba demasiado. Fue un problema para dormir. Constantemente se apagaba y no volvía a activarse, cambiando constantemente la temperatura de la habitación.

Without a doubt the location is one of the best in the city. The place was really clean and well organised. We had a great surprise when told we were upgraded to a premium room without extra cost. I will stay at this hotel every time I go back to Madrid, you just can’t go wrong with them.

Que tuviese microondas, es vital. Estaba mala y no podia ir a restaurantes. El microondas me ayudó a poder hacerme comida prepreparada como el arroz precocido.

La ventana no se podia cerrar del todo y habia mucho ruido dentro de la casa a media noche.

La struttura si trova proprio di fronte al palazzo reale e a fianco al teatro dell'Opera.La camera che ci è stata assegnata era all'ultimo piano, molto grande e dotata di un terrazzo privato da cui ammirare il palazzo. Lo staff è stato molto gentile. Alina ci ha accolto con professionalità e gentilezza.

Non c'è niente che non ci sia piaciuto, forse il bagno è meno curato rispetto alla stanza

every thing is great clean , very nice updated room , nicely decorated restaurant downstairs walking distance to attractions like royal palace is across the street , the santiago church is behind the building whe we got our credential for camino madrid , few minutes walk to plaza mayor , reception is very accommodating , has elevator i’ll be back again, nice to be back from a long day of exploring the city into a nice relaxing clean room

The view from the apartment is simply incredible and completely outweighs any minor shortcomings. Together with the perfect location, it really made our stay in Madrid. The terrace is fantastic — spacious, beautiful and with an exceptional view. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Although the rather ornate, French-inspired interior is not entirely our style, it has some very attractive elements, especially the wooden floor and the exposed ceiling beams in the reception area. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The location, and above all the terrace and the view, made our time in Madrid truly memorable. It is an excellent hotel and we would absolutely recommend it.

Only minor things. There was occasionally a smell from a nearby restaurant on the terrace. Although of course this is not the hotel’s fault, it is an objective feature of the location worth mentioning. There also seems to be some unfinished renovation work on the ground floor, with pipes protruding from the wall, which feels a little odd given how polished and well-designed the rest of the property is. The pillows were unusually long, and the very thin pillowcases made them feel slightly off-putting and less pleasant to use than we would have liked. The bedding itself is also quite minimal: instead of a typical duvet, you need to use a blanket. I understand that this is fairly common in warmer countries, though, so it was not a major issue. Overall, these are very small drawbacks compared with the extraordinary view, terrace and location. We had a wonderful stay.

El personal es muy amable y la ubicación es buena, cerca del metro de ópera, y es bonita la zona si quieres estar en el Madrid antiguo.

La habitación interior es cómoda aunque no estaba tan limpia (había unas semillas de pipas al lado de la cama y fue un poco desagradable), y en la entrada estaban en obras, arreglando algo y había mucho polvo, aunque dijeron que era cosa de un día.

Os quartos com vista para o Palácio Real são fantásticos. Recomendo!

The room was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant, with a proper hotel-like experience. Everything was well maintained, and I especially appreciated that they allowed me to store one of my suitcases for several days while I was away. That was very helpful and made the stay much more convenient.

The staff made it for us. Couldn’t do enough. Hotel right opposite the Grand Palace and close to all the sights. Those that were further afield the Metro was only 4 minutes away and the airport was 44 minutes on the metro.

The location is excellent directly opposite the central place and close to cafes, bars and restaurants in the centre of the city. The view of the palace is exceptional. The room was very spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was a little noisy from the square but not so much that we couldn’t sleep.

The views were wonderful, the staff was kind and communicative and accomodating, and the rooms were clean and well maintained for the overwhelming most part. Only thing I did not rate 'exceptional' is related to a maintenance item and did not affect our stay in any way.

The shower head itself leaked during use and occasionally the valve would not shut off completely without turning it off and back on. Some of the floorboard nails have crept up and need to be made flush. Otherwise absolutely nothing anyone could complain about.

We stayed in a very spacious room with high wooden ceilings. It was beautifully decorated and the furniture was lovely, very regal. Its location opposite the Royal Palace was ideal. Many of Madrid’s sights were easily within walking distance.

Despite being very close to the tourist center, it was very quiet. The AC was key!!

Our room only had very little natural light, and the electric light in the room was was the cold white light of an ER, but the bathroom light was insufficient.

A beautiful hotel at an excellent location in front of the Royal Palace. The staff were very helpful and kind and provided valuable information about the nearby tourist destinations.

The location was perfect to do everything by just walking. We only used the metro once, and it was very close to the hotel. The room was big and had a mini fridge, really helpful. I really enjoyed staying there. Really really good! They also allowed us to do the check in early once they had a room available.

A great location, opposite the palace and easy to walk around from here. Breakfast was available for a discounted rate (12.50) at the cafe downstairs which was nice. The bed was comfy, room was clean and staff were friendly. Also helped us book a taxi early to the airport for 33 euros. A great place to stay, would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stairs are a little uneven but there is a small lift available too.

Location, location, location! Cleanliness of hostal, quietness, friendly staff, size of room. So happy we found this hostal and would not stay anywhere else. So quiet in relation to the proximity of the bars and shopping areas only a 5 minute walk away. Opera and Sol Metro stations close by. Staff are wonderful and make us feel so welcome. Already booked for 2027!

A due passi dalle stazioni metro Opera e Sol, in zona pedonale, di fronte al palazzo reale, circondata da una miriade di locali nella zona forse più turistica e più affascinante di Madrid. Hotel maravillosamente decorado, la habitación era enorme, cuenta con hervidor y pequeña nevera, aire acondicionado funcionó perfecto, si reservas habitación doble exterior tendrás vistas hermosas hacia Palacio Real. La estación de metro ópera está ahí mismo, rodeado de cafés y restaurantes.
