Süßes Hotel mit Original Flair in schöner Lage. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das Restaurant und die Frühstücksräume waren bezaubernd.

Das Wasser im Bad lief nicht ab und wir konnten nur kochend heiß duschen. Da wir nur eine Nacht da waren, konnten wir das nicht klären, wissen also nicht, ob sich jemand gekümmert hätte …

Perfect location, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff, couldn't do enough for you. Really enjoyed the entertainment.

Stay was to celebrate our mum's birthday, staff decorated room with happy birthday banner and had a bottle of prosecco chilling ready in the room. Such a lovely touch, thank you. Mum loved it 😊 Breakfast was delicious. Staff very attentive, and was glad we met Goose 😸 Highly recommended, great location just a short walk to shoreline. Stunning scenery.

The location of the hotel was superb. We stayed in the family room which was really spacious, clean and tidy. The staff in the Silverdale Hotel were very friendly and welcoming.

The Silverdale Hotel is not expensive. We have no complaints about anything. Our experience was excellent, definitely good value.

Het was een ruime en fijne kamer. De hoteliers waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In het restaurant hadden ze lekkere en typisch Engelse maaltijden en de volgende ochtend een goed Engels ontbijt op de dag mee te beginnen.

De trappen naar boven zijn een beetje onpraktisch bij veel bagage. Het tweepersoonsbed sliep lekker maar had meer het formaat van een twijfelaar.

Comfortable traditional hotel in lovely location Friendly staff. Pleasant bar and lounge . Warm traditional feel about the place. Would stay again. Very near Morecambe Bay and also RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss near station Half hour walk to station but there's a good bus service

Arrived Sunday without a car for two nights but no evening meal Sunday and Monday night. Booked because had a restaurant . Booking .Com didn't make it clear. Though the hotel website did. But a very good family run Indian restaurant around the corner highly recommended, and fantastic good value. Car needed for any other evening food.

The staff were brilliant, we had a little problem at check-in but it was resolved and the staff couldn't be nicer. The room was large and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good quality and served piping hot.

Some areas of the building look a little tired. While there is no food served on Mondays we could bring in a takeaway to eat on-site.

Very friendly staff and a lovely location. We had booked for two nights, unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to an accident. We weren't charged for the second night, and; as I couldn't stay for dinner, (packing and a second trip to A&E) the chef, on short notice, made me the best burger and chips I've had in a long time.

The room was lovely and clean and was well equipped The breakfast was good value for money and the staff were exceptional, the same can be said about the evening meal. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever had. Overall it was a lovely weekend.

The bedding was white😂🤣and having a dog with us I was worried about it getting dirty but as the weather was nice it wasn’t a problem and no the dog didn’t sleep on the bed but he did jump up onto it 🐶

De sfeer was heel goed. Veel kunst aan de muur. Huiselijke sfeer. Douche was prima. Eten was goed. Personeel heel vriendelijk. Locatie perfect, dichtbij de zee. Mooie tuin.

Muf en warm in de kamer. 2 1 persoons bedden was niet fijn. Hoopte dat we ze tegen elkaar konden schuiven maar dat ging niet omdat de kamer erg klein was. In verhouding met andere overnachtingen die we in Engeland hadden was dit hotel aan de dure kant. Dan verwacht je meer.

Only stayed one night but from my arrival the staff were very welcoming. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Had dinner in the evening which was delicious and there was a lovely atmosphere in the bar which was very busy but relaxed The staff again were very friendly and the service spot on Breakfast was amazing Very dog friendly( Winston 🐕 I'm sure scored it 10/10 !!!)

The only thing I should have done was check rooms with a bath as mine had only a shower ......but that was my fault

Lovely large family room with sea and garden views. Very quiet at night. We liked the ambience in the bar and restaurant area with books, lots of pictures, assorted comfy furniture with art nouveau dining chairs, nooks and crannies. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our dinner but more options for dinner might have been good. However service was excellent.

Wer das englische Frühstück mag, bekommt hier ein sehr gutes! Die Cumberland-Sausages kommen aus einer kleinen lokalen Schlachterei. Es ist reichhaltig und es gibt soviel Tee und Kaffe wie man mag. Weiter werden Cerealien, Yoghurt und Säfte angeboten. Der Frühstücksraum ist ebenfalls sehr großzügig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind für den Preis völlig in Ordnung und da es eines der ältesten Häuser im Ort ist, bedürfen sie auch immer etwas Renovierung. Aber das störte unseren sehr guten Gesamteindruck nicht. Das Abendessen im dazugehörigen Pup sollte man auch mitnehmen. Es werden sehr gute, typisch englische Gerichte angeboten und eine große Auswahl an Bier und Cider macht den Abend perfekt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Relaxed atmosphere, good selection of beers, the restaurant was closed, but we were allowed to take food in to eat on the premises brilliant idea from the owners. Cosy sitting area and lovely garden all in a tranquil village setting.

How clean it was and really friendly the staff were.

The mattress was too soft for us and the pillows were too flat but suppose that's difficult to please everyone.

Lovely location near the RSPB reserve and the coast. Nice building with a friendly atmosphere. Good food in the pub.

Service was a little slow and felt you had to work hard to get people's attention, however when you did they were very polite and helpful. Room was fine, although the sliding door to enter the bathroom made it feel a bit cramped when in there.

All very good as always - this was our 3rd stay. Comfortable, very clean room - great shower. Breakfast very good as always and the location is a great base for seeing the surrounding countryside.

The restaurant is closed on Sunday night which was a disappointment because the food is a real treat after a long walk round the coast. The recommended curry house was good but not as good as the hotel.

It was in a lovely , quiet location with a view from my window. There was food available at night and a bar area if you want to be around people. The staff were very polite , friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Outstanding food at dinner and breakfast. Very nice room. Ideal for the shore and for visiting Leighton Moss nature reserve.

Not that many vegetarian options. A couple of extra vegetarian main meals would be good. The tourist guide in the room assumed we were in Lancaster and even suggested a daytrip to Silverdale. It also doesn't mention the train and bus services available at Silverdale. A bespoke set of information would be a huge improvement.

The Silverdale Hotel is an absolute Gem.So much to look at,the walls are covered with lovely art.Room 6 is a lovely bedroom,and the view is amazing.

We have been to this hotel a few times, and it never disappoints, beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast, staff are lovely. A nice touch booking a table for you for tea so you dont have to worry if fully booked.

Walls were a little thin, and we could hear our neighbour moving around and flushing the loo. We upgraded our room, which advertised chocolates in the room, but none were forthcoming.

Generally good atmosphere, and nice areas to drink and mingle. Large well-kept beer garden. Short walk down to seashore with lovely views.

Loved almost everything about this unique hotel, and the staff were fantastic. The food was also tip-top. The breakfast is consistently excellent and well presented. The evening meal was also fresh, hot, and well thought through.

They already know the issues. The slight irritation is that the reviews have been saying it for a while and they're not fixed. Odd.

Fantastic location, lovely friendly staff..

I was made vert welcome, the breakfast was excellent and so was the evening meal. The staff were very friendly. The view over to Grange from my bedroom window was amazing.

Unfortunately I have mobility issues so I found the stairs a problem also the corridors with little steps in them. Also I could not get into the bath to use the shower. I was told that I would have to use the stairs as there was no lift before I came.

Clean, cosy, welcoming, dog friendly, delicious breakfast but above all such lovely staff - thank you!

The hotel is a really welcoming place - staff are helpful and friendly. I love the bar area with the shelves full of books and the comfy armchairs. Full English breakfast sets you up for the day, and the evening meals are really tasty - mince beef pie and the fish pie are favourites of ours. After a day out walking along the coast it was great to come back and relax in the room which was warm, comfortable, quiet and clean.

The hotel is situated in a pleasant quiet village with excellent walking from the hotel. The breakfast was good, with a choice of cereals , fresh orange juice only and a proper toaster to make toast, not conveyor belt style. The hot breakfast was a little limited with either full English and veggie option. Otherwise it was poached or fried egg on toast or beans on toast which was a little limited but all good quality .

Food was very good and staff were very welcoming.

The room (4) was in a poor state with a mouldy bath tiles and bathroom blind. The bed was not very comfortable and too small for two people with poor quality pillows. The sound insulation from the rooms above our room was also poor so we were woken up early hearing them moving around. The TV is positioned in a really bad place it would be much better if you had a stand where you could actually swivel it round to watch it whilst lying on the bed.

It's was a fantastic New year's Eve with great music and food

Hotel great bedroom Was clean, bed very comfortable, we had breakfast and evening meal. Food excellent and served hot. Staff amazing. Hotel very dog friendly. Will definitely recommend and will stay there again.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The whole experience was positive, we were met with a smile and our bikes were put away safely. The room was clean and comfortable with plentiful tea and coffee making facilities. We had dinner at the hotel and the menu was wide ranging and the chosen meals were of a high quality. The included cooked breakfast was of excellent quality and there was a good choice of cereals and toast making facilities. All in all a really good experience.

We have stayed here before. The location is perfect for my wife and I. She visits the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss nearby and I go cycling into the southern Lakes or further south. Ideal areas for cycling. The accommodation was excellent as was the food.
