Yufuin Onsen Hotel Poppoan

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Room had a pretty view of the field and a bath. Unfortunately it was not open-air as advertised. Although tatami was a good experience, it was uncomfortable for my back. Food was great!

오래된 소규모 지방 온천 호텔입니다. 방에 딸린 개인탕에서 수시로 온천 가능하고 가족탕 개념의 노천탕도 즐길 수 있어 재미있었어요. 저녁과 아침 식사 모두 일본식 한상 차림인데 반찬이 깔끔하고 간이 무난해서 일행 모두 잘 먹었습니다. 조용하게 일행과 가성비로 료칸 맛보기하며 쉬었다 가기 좋은 곳이라는 생각입니다.

如果揸大車路段比較難行，細車可以接受

We enjoyed our stay at this ryokan. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and it was a unique experience. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our dinner and breakfast was served in the dining room at the precise time we specified. The dishes were so thoughtfully placed. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!!!

Overall is fantastic, however, there's a dead cockroach next to the bed the morning we woke up, although it's clean in the room.

만족합니다. 서비스도 좋았고 방도 깨끗했습니다. 창밖에 지나가는 기차도 참 운치있고 예뻤습니다.

잘 먹고 질 쉬고

오랜만에 조용한 시골마을 느낌의 편안한 공간에서 머물렀어요. 수시로 지저귀는 새소리도 좋았고 공기도 맑고 상쾌했습니다. 온천으로 기분좋은 나른함도 많이 느꼈구요. 또 오고 싶어요.

這是一間很精緻的小旅館，房間設計採用傳統日式風格，從私人風呂可看到由布岳，有時可以見到小火車從田間經過，真是一個獨特的體驗。餐飲十分出色，早餐和晚餐都是豐富的懷石料理。店員態度十分殷勤。我們一家大小老人家和小朋友都很盡興。

방이 깨끗하고 예쁩니다. 직원들은 영어에 많이 서투시지만 몹시 친절합니다. 온천수가 아주 좋았습니다. 기회가 된다면 또 방문하고 싶습니다.

Incredible stay. Really friendly hosts that were extremely accommodating. The ryokan is lovely and provides stunning views. There is an indoor and outdoor private onsen which does not need to be reserved and is available anytime it's not in use. Quiet location in short walking distance to the train station. The hosts provided a shuttle service for check in and check out. Food is lovely and a variety of things to try, all served in a beautifully

GOOD PLACE

저녁식사가 정말 훌륭하고 푸짐하게 잘 나왔습니다. 정말 배부르고 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 조식도 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 시설도 좋고 환경도 좋았습니다.

This is an older, but well maintained Ryokan. The pools, both private and shared, are wonderful and have a great view over rice paddies. The service and food were a bit of a let-down. Perhaps it was because as an English-speaker, I was assigned a Burmese worker and a teenage Japanese kid as my hosts, but while their English was very good, their service lacked the refinement, pro-active hospitality and attention to detail that are often the hallmark of a great Ryokan. I did not feel particularly welcome at this property and often felt like staff were just going through the motions to be done with me. The food, while good, also felt somewhat uninspired and bland.

離車站有段距離，店家會安排接駁車出入。前台服務員和接線生都可以英文對搭。室內環境整潔，值得推介

1박 머물면서 이렇게 좋았던 숙소는 없었습니다,,, 우선 가격대비 가성비가 좋아요. 식사나오는것 그리고 방상태.. 너무 좋았다고 말밖에 못하겟네요 ㅎㅎ

I was able to communicate with Poppoan staffs in English. comfy hot spring and nice foods.

직원분들도 다 엄청 친절하시고 가이세키도 진짜 맛있었어요 개별탕 딸린 방이어서 노천탕도 개별탕도 다 썼더니 너무 좋았어요 가족들 다 엄청 좋아하고 행복한 시간이었습니다. 돈만 많으면 매년 다시 오고 싶어요ㅠ

일본 전통 료칸을 체험할 수 있어 좋았고 식사,서비스 등 만족함.

Staff is not kindly, room is too small and smelly. Food was good. Overall rate is fair

가족과 함께 머물기 좋은 숙소 였습니다. 기차역과는 걸어서 20분으로 약간의 거리가 있으나, 프라이빗 온천탕을 즐기기에는 좋은 뷰를 가지고 있습니다.

유후인 역에서 걸어가긴 조금 거리가 있지만 한적한 시골동네라 걸어가도 충분히 좋았던 숙소였습니다. 음식이나 서비스 등 모든 면에서 만족스러운 숙소였습니다.

음식도맛있고 정말조용하고 친절하시고 너무 만족했어요 개인탕없는 메인건물에 지냈는데 방 바로앞에 실내, 실외온천 다있어서 방문만 빼꼼히 열어서 사용중인지 아닌지 바로 확인할수있어서 이용에 전혀 불편함이 없었어요 다만 온풍기로만 방온도조절이되서 조금 추웠지만 3월이라 괜찮았습니다 주변풍경도 시골스럽고 체크아웃하기전에 마을산책을 했는데 근처에 유채꽃밭도있고 너무 좋았습니다

今次已是第二次入住，感覺上年1月份入住經驗比較貼心

Been to many onsens in japan, but I think this place was by far the best, considering my preference for peaceful ryokans which are difficult to find in websites other than local japanese websites. Located quite far (15-min walk) from the main village/town, this ryokan has only five rooms that come with one private bath. Yes, the public baths (open air and indoor) are small, but each guest gets to place a sign showing everyone that he/she is inside. This keeps other guests from entering. And as I mentioned, there are only five rooms, so there is no way that a guest is going to miss out using the public baths due to user traffic. In fact, I used all three like five times throughout the night. Basically, three types of baths can be used privately. The staff are extremely kind and gentle, and I think they put A LOT of work into keeping this place super clean. I plan to come again next year!

넘넘 좋았어요 너무 친절하시고 밥도 맛있고 온천이 개별 욕실에 딸려 있었던 점도 넘 좋았어요 주변이 조용하고 앞에 기차가 다녀 풍경이 딱 좋았는데 다만 편의점이 걸어서 15분 거리에 있어서 들어가실때 필요 한거 사가세용!!

溫泉美食體驗

The location is a bit far from the town, but that provides you a nice village view and quiet/calm environment. We didn't have much baggage so we could manage to walk 15-20mins from the JR station, and the hotel is easy to find. They drove us back to the JR station after check-out. I believe they would provide pick-up service if you call them in advance. The room is not big, but good enough and clean. We love the private onsen at our room a lot! There are 2 more onsens outside the room, and when there is nobody inside, you can just put the stand outside the door and it becomes your private onsen. The dinner and breakfast are just perfect. Since they only provide a few rooms, you can definitely enjoy some peaceful moments there.

이렇게 훌륭할수가~! 이번여행의 격을 높인 숙소입니다~ 자그마해서 붐비지도않고 식사도 대만족!붐비지않으니 노천탕도 여유롭게 사용~! 긴린코도 걸어서 20분정도~!담에또 갈겁니다

這次不知是不是太晚check in，沒有室內的溫泉，只有公共的澡堂可以泡，這點有些失望，但餐點及服務都很不錯

위치가 민가주변이라 처음에 당황했으나 서비스도 좋고 무엇보다 객실내 온천도 있어 가족끼리 온천을 즐기기에는 더할나위없었습니다. 온천을 즐기는 동안 은은하게 들려오는 열차소리와 개구리소리에 간만에 모든 피로가 다 풀린듯합니다. 기회가 된다면 망설임없이 재이용 할 계획입니다.

一泊二食餐點超道地的日式料理，超讚。房間裡有自己的湯屋可以看到火車經過，超棒的。地點離街道有點遠但很安靜又很悠閒的地方。值得一去！！

一个很有情调的温泉旅馆，一排温泉小屋排列在铁道边的田埂旁，透过窗户看过去，远山、田野、蓝天，把自然刻画得美轮美奂。房间里的私汤是亮点，边泡汤边透过窗户欣赏外面的美景，这是一种多么奢华的享受。旅馆提供免费接送服务，餐食也不错。只是我订的价格有点高了，可能是由布院这个地方的名声把价格抬起来了吧，相比较而言，其它一些地方的温泉旅馆的性价比高不少。

제 생각에 유후인에서 가장 가격대비 좋은곳이라고 생각함. 앞으로 적극적으로 친구들에게 추천하겠음.

Very nice hotel, good experience, reasonable price, highly recommended

We are from HK and had a wonderful time in this onsen hotel. The food is perfect and which is so delicious. The location is perfect and it’s only takes 10 mins drive from the Yufuin station. There is a private onsen inside the room which we booked, super nice for the privacy. Although we need to go out for the dinner and breakfast, but it’s also separated, made you feel more comfy and high level of privacy. The view in the room is something very rare for us to see. It’s really a Fantastic experience for us P.S. The mattress is quite thin and so hard. We cannnot had a very good sleep. This is the only matter we concerned. But overall we give 9/10 marks to this Onsen Hotel ~

The Japanese dinner is so delicious. We have an amazing experience for the one night stay.
