Layfer Express Cordoba Veracruz Mexico

Excellent bathroom, very clean room

Hotel is nice but the area around it is poor

Excellent value, great staff, restaurant has great food! The room was throughly equipped with everything you would need. I had a short stay, but I have nothing negative about this property. Would definitely stay again. Terrific staff! Great value!

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff at a good cost benefit rate

Everything is good

Buen hotel, agradable y seguro

pleasantly surprised, everything looks like new, is nice, neat and well looked after, spacious rooms, with individual entrance, arranged in a square with groomed garden and big pool in the middle, restaurant with covered terrace

Bonito hotel

Todo muy bien

Excelente

I love it! Great and outstanding place to stay

The bed is hard

Restaurant staff too short, but food is great.

Excelente

Servicio excelente, instalaciones nuevas y limpias, buena localización, habitaciones limpias, confortables...

Excellent place, it was a shame we stayed only overnight, but certainly a place to visit again, that city and this particular hotel.

Great service and rooms are just perfectly clean and tidy.

Convenient location - right off Mex180D - exit well marked. Off street parking. Spacious modern room. Restaurant on-site. We were told restaurant opened at 7. Not so today - not until 8:30. Not sure why, maybe because it was Sunday and they serve buffet breakfast only. It was very good and reasonably priced but we could not get coffee until then. The room had a little coffee maker that, for 23 pesos, provided 2 little cups of substandard brew. May not matter to some but was VERY disappointing for us.

Very nice hotel. A little nervous about not being a name I knew, but all reviews were good so we went for it. It was super nice, right off the highway which was great.

Lovely property and accommodations, terrific staff, great food, convenient location.

It was everything that read regarding the comments.

What a unexpected surprise! !this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. From the parking lot to the lobby and through the grounds to the room it's first class all the way. Check in was a breeze and the manager Marissa could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel! You will not be disappointed

This is a very very nice hotel with big pool, beautiful gardens and big comfortable modern rooms. It also has a nice restaurant - breakfast is excellent -, a sufficient gym, bar and a game room with a pool table and video games for everybody to use. They have parking as well. Not in the city but close to it. You would need to rent a car or take taxi to go to the city. Public transportation is walking distance but people staying here do not use it at all for obvious reasons. 100% recommended if you want to stay in a very nice and quiet place with all the amenities you need to have a good time during your stay. Pico de Orizaba view from here is amazing!!

Just excellent. From facilities to the staff. No doubt this is one of the best hotels in the area. It has big, modern, fully equipped and so well decorated rooms with lots of additional things for you to have a perfect stay. It has a wonderful pool, beautiful gardens, restaurant, bar, a sufficient gym and a game room. Food is very good and in every meal they give you some "courtesies", for example, if you have lunch there they will invite you a drink and a small dessert, per meal!!. Fair prices. Staff is so nice as well! By the way, to avoid connection problems they have wifi antennas per room. If you are here for work this is your place!

We spotted the hotel sign quite a long way ahead of Cordoba, so we kept track of our distance, and kept our fingers crossed they would accept Ceiba, our dog. Layfer Express is located off the toll road. Parking is "gated", monitored an well lit. The hotel is pretty new, modern and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities we could ask for, and more. The atmosphere is quiet and calming. The rooms are very spacious, airy and bright. The windows have sun and black out blinds. The beds are fabulously comfortable. The bathrooms are fully tiled with glassed in showers. All the rooms, lobby, restaurant and bar are ground floor and surround the pool and garden area. Lots of places outside the hotel to walk the dog. The restaurant menu is quite extensive and our dinners and breakfasts were delicious, fresh and plentiful. The garden patio is a wonderful place to unwind and have a drink. But what impressed us most about Layfer Express, was Oscar and the staff. They made us feel very much at home and we truly appreciated the kindness and generosity extended to us. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

A nice surprise after a long drive! Clean, well appointed rooms, very helpful staff, decent price, secure parking. We'll be stopping there again! Only drawback was that the restaurant was closed in the evening. But there was a nice taco stand just down the road.

After many hours of driving I was tired and begging for a place to sleep, then I saw the signs for this hotel down the highway and decided to give it a try. It was late at night and the restaurant was closed for the day, the receptionist offered the option of snacks from a vending machine, which wasn't necessarily what I had in mind after a long day on the road. They were kindly enough to give us recommendations of restaurants in town that were still open and could deliver to the hotel, which was very nice. With all honesty, I was expecting a modest room with a decent bed but I was surprised by the accommodation, which can rival some city hotels, nice king size bed, nice air conditioning, nice big tv and ample bathroom, all the things needed for a good night sleep after a long day on the road. Being this property close to the highway, I was a little worried about the noise coming from the road, but I was very pleased to find out it was quiet and I simply forgot what was happening outside. The next morning we were ready to continue our journey, but decided to try the restaurant before we left. Staff was really nice, service was fast and the food was good, the best part if that prices were decent. Overall, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
