Sacheon Grand Tourist Hotel

Good breakfast, fast wifi, hotel still being renovated esp will keep getting better

Room was clean functional and breakfast was good. WiFi was quick and overall a nice stay.

Hotel is still being renovated , what’s completely is perfect, once pool is finished this will be an excellent place to stay

C ( 25.03.24 ) I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is a little remote, so it's a little inconvenient to move around, and it seems that they don't operate several facilities when there aren't many customers. Room condition is good, and the service is no problem. They provide breakfast even though it's cost-effective.

Good the best Next Year Back to again

Clean room. Welcoming staff. Gave hotel info sheet in English which was really useful. Breakfast included.

Some hotel facilities are under renovation (room facilities are great and working)

Confortable and nice, the breakfast buffet is fine.

It is currently being fixed, lots of temporary areas, I am sure that when all the work will be finished, it will be nice.

Currently it is in progress or repairing. But the staffs are very kind.

very muvh smell, under construction, not recommended but cheap price

breakfest was nice and personal was friendly

pool was empty and entrance hall was under reconstruction

Large facility in quiet and scenic (rural) location. Management was wonderfully attentive and helpful. Very comfortable room. Great breakfast. Plenty of parking.

The beautiful decor inside and out, large comfy rooms and kind, attentive staff.

The pool was closed. A bit far from bus routes or the centre of town.

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. I was locked out of the hotel building at night, and it was super embarrassing. I've never seen any hotel that locks its doors at night, but this one did. They never answered my calls, and I had to stand outside for a long time in the middle of the night. I would never visit this weird hotel again.

Nothing really Only one or two staff but were friendly Bed was clean but room very tired

Very limited food choice at dinner No bar General disrepair of all parts of hotel, repairs not finished, clutter dumped in rooms, odd building modifications never finished Lack of staff, receptionist was the cook Depressing Felt like being in the movie “The Shining” except hotel was even worse! Decor was a mess. Needs a complete gutting.

Breakfast was good with a decent spread. Hotel was clean and comfortable. A lot of TV channels which does not bore you.

Parts of hotel seems to be undergoing renovation and there were no signs to indicate this. There are no shops around such as supermarket or mini marts. Dinner is also not available at hotel and need to buy in.

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. The spa area (sauna + hot tub) was very relaxing after a long day at work. Quiet area - seafront is in walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel is a little older but clean and comfortable, large rooms and a comfortable bed. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful and just about everybody speaks English. A special thanks to the van driver!

I stayed at Sacheon Grand Tourist Hotel for one night on a round trip in South Korea together with a group of approximately 20 people. From my room I had a very a beautiful view of the harbour and sea. The room was charmig with all necessary toilet articles and towels. Internet speed was good. Quiet surrounding gave me a good night's sleep after a busy day. Breakfast was good with food also for a European like me. Not far from the hotel was the fantastic cable car, which is a must, if you are not afraid of heights. Excellent place for vacation and relaxing. Henry J Grindheim, Asker, Norway

The staff were fantastic and VERY helpful. They also had some good English speaking staff

Stayed for two nights during a business trip. The staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. Food and drink very acceptable. In a great location for KAI, and they run a free shuttle there at 0730, 0830, and return at 1700 and 1800.

We stayed here for a week and we really enjoyed it! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating very friendly . They all took the time to help us no matter what the issue! It is out on the edge of farms so very quiet we were there in the winter so we didn’t get to enjoy swimming however there is plenty to stay busy with. In the basement is a gym and they offer a washer and dryer free for their clients to use . On the main floor they offer a Sauna & bath. The staff was very helpful showing me the proper way to take advantage of their natural hot spring Sauna. On the second floor are sweat rooms as well as their restaurant. The hotel is very clean very nice and we enjoyed our stay here!

The Sacheon Grand Tourist Hotel is a 2-star property at best. The reception staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, but once you get past the lobby, the hotel is not much to speak of. The rooms are clean, but basic and the first night there, I went to use the bathroom in my room, and a giant centipede came out of one of the drains. It was awful. Additionally, I was traveling with two colleagues who said they saw one outside of the restaurant, but that one was dead. We ate at the restaurant for dinner as we arrived late and were tired from traveling. No one was in the restaurant except for the 3 of us and the food was mediocre at best. The breakfast was not much better, had limited choices and it appeared they had reheated food from the night before, to serve at the breakfast. We stayed at this property as we had a business meeting close by the following day. I will not stay there again.

The staff at the Sacheon Grand could not have been more accommodating. However, the hotel is a 2-star at best. The rooms are large and clean, but the first night in the bathroom, I giant centipede was on the floor. My colleagues also said they saw one outside of the restaurant on the floor, although that one appeared to be dead. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and for breakfast. We were the only people in the restaurant for dinner, but arrived late and had no other choice. The food was mediocre at best and the service not attentive. The breakfast was very limited and after seeing the centipede, everything was questionable for me. Fortunately, we only needed to stay one night.

Pleasant welcome from staff, who are all helpful. Restaurant on site offers a variety of food choices. With check-in, you are offered two discount coupons for the waterpark (lazy river, small child water area, and pool where most swimmers can touch the bottom or swim in plastic row boats) and two for the steam/hot baths.

My family stayed here in April 2016. The facilities are nice & the staff is really friendly. It was a wonderful place to begin our stay in Korea. Lovely sauna, good food, excellent and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend it to foreign travelers. We have since been back during the summer months to use the outdoor pool & lazy river. It was a nice, fun way to cool down but as a foreigner we were not used to the life vest & hat requirement for adults and older children that are capable swimmers.

This place is only a year old and I am shocked it has not reviews. I usually do short and to the point reviews, but since this in the only one for here I will all that I can. 1. No real place to walk to from here, it is a resort style place with everything you need onsite. 2. There is a natural spring on the property and the water is used for the hot tubs in the men's and women's sauna areas. They are 35*c, 39*c and 45*C (113*F)! 3. Great restaurant onsite with plenty of western type food for picky Americans like myself. 4. Standard rooms have about 200 television channels, heated floors, a small refrigerator, easy light switched from the bedside for the whole room, and an air conditioning/heating unit that is also remote controlled from your bed! The best part was that it actually worked, as out hotel in Ulsan and Changwon the prior 2 nights did not have air conditioning turned on yet and our rooms were 27*c/80*f upon check in, and did not get any cooler during the night. 5. I got a body-scrub while there and it was amazing, only $25usd, I would get one daily if I was staying longer. 6. Great looking pool and lazy river.
