Reviewed Nov 19, 2025Welcoming helpful staff. Free secure parking at the rear of the hostel. Large clean kitchen, everything you need supplied. We had a private room off the lounge, linen provided. Great shower pressure
The main shared shower has nowhere to put personal items or clothing, poor ventilation, and fan not working properly. This may need to be something to consider adding a shelf or more hooks to hang clothing on. Given that shared bathroom is multi sex. There is no lock on the sliding door to the hanbasin area. If you were getting changed, anyone could walk in, as there is limited room in the shower cubicle, which is lockable

Reviewed Nov 28, 2024The kitchen was great, plenty of space and well equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful. Supplies can be bought at the shop at the front. The hostel is in the centre of Oxford with several lovely hikes nearby.
The rooms are tiny with minimal storage space. If the hostel had been busier there would have been competition for the limited bathroom facilities.
