This hotel was a fantastic place to stay while in the area for work. Friendly, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, and located right by Blue Back Square. This hotel is upscale without being stuffy: everything was clean and beautifully design, and it was relatively quiet.

We had a fantastic time from the time that we stepped into the doors. Our car got valid. Went to the desk to check in very pleasant gave us all the information we needed to know where the restaurant was what floor got our cards very quick under five minutes told us about the continental breakfast the next day very informative went up to the rooms were beautiful. We were attending a wedding there it was beautifully done. Love the restaurant in the hotel was great before and after the wedding and the continental breakfast perfect for the morning gave the ticket to get our car. They came out within five minutes. Everything was beautiful will definitely come back there again

We were there for a family reunion. The hotel is pleasant and clean, but not what I'd expect for $369 per night in a group package. The A/C was noisy and seemed to be motion activated, so it clicked off sometime afte we went to bed and we'd wake up at 3 or 4am because it was stuffy and warm due to lack of air circulation. We were also surprised that there really wasn't any space to unpack: for two people there was only one luggage rack, and no full-sized drawers.

Incredibly great stay. The location is perfect, walking distance to lots of restaurants and little shops. The little extras provided by the hotel are wonderful. The rooms are large and spacious with plenty of drinks and treats. The toiletries are a special bonus. Hotel staff including valet are all incredibly kind and helpful with whatever you need. Didn’t disappoint!

Great Place, Perfect Location in West Hartford. terrace room on 2nd floor was perfect to go outside and enjoy the sun....i think a modern small firepit should be out there too....like a table fire feature. Great service. Tight.

Incredible hotel, wonderful staff. Acccomodations were top of the top. I slept so well and later realized it was because of their bedding. Loved this hotel and wish all others could be so good.

Spent 4 nights for business and the location was perfect! The room was immaculate and comfortable and with a great breakfast each day.

Staff are amazing. So helpful. 5 star quality staff! The room was small and the bed was a bit too soft for my taste. so a bit uncomfortable for me.

So far, this has been an amazing experience. From the moment the Bellman met us at our ride to the front desk personnel. The room is immaculate, large and very contemporary. I highly recommend this to anybody staying in this town. Brand New too!!

From the time I arrived to the time I departed, the service at this hotel was exemplary! It started with the valet parking where staff made you feel welcomed, thru the front desk where you're welcomed warmly with a smile, to the staff caring for the details of ensuring your room & stay was comfortable. The Delamar certainly doesn't skimp on service. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm back from out of town.

We are repeat customers. We love the restaurant, the entire staff, the location and the fact that dogs are contained on one floor. In the past, at other hotels, we have been charged at , growled at and barked at. In Lake Placid, a pit bull charged me when I exited the elevator. Additionally, the barking was too much. The maids there complained about being constantly bitten. In Destin, we would watch individuals check in at the front desk then sneak dogs into their rooms only to have the dogs constantly bark and growl in the elevator. We wish people would leave their dogs home. But it is nice to see that the dogs here are contained on one floor here.

We absolutely love the Delamar West Hartford and return whenever we’re back in Connecticut. We’ve stayed here many times over the years and have hosted major events—including our own wedding and, most recently, a friend’s wedding. Every experience has been exceptional! The staff is truly what sets the Delamar apart. Sedek, the General Manager, leads with professionalism and warmth. Erin, the Director of Catering, and her assistant Charlie made the wedding seamless and unforgettable. Charley and the front door team always greet guests with genuine hospitality, and Eric, Yuni and the front desk staff consistently go above and beyond. A special thank‑you as well to Steve and Maggie at the bar—both downstairs and at the reception—along with the entire wait staff, who delivered outstanding service throughout the event. The Delamar has become our home away from home, and it remains the only place we choose to stay when visiting Connecticut. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, decorated to perfection with eclectic and classic styles and art. Restaurant /bar was adorable and the food and drinks were fantastic. Prosecco at check in/ cookies in the room. Staff could not have been nicer. This hotel is like staying at some rich Palm Beach lady’s perfect home. Absolute must stay.

From the moment you arrive, valet staff, front desk and room were simply superb! Our daughters’ event was magical and it started at Delamar!

We have stayed here Numerous times since the (badly needed) hotel opened. The service is exeptional and I hear via my relatives that the Spa is wonderful. It is central to many restaurants and shopping. The food has always been very good, and this time we had brunch before leaving, which was outstanding. The bar and other public areas (Fabulous Art!) are elevated and comfortable. We want to try their other properties: There is a reason that they are successful and expanding their portfolio.

The hotel has a warm and attentive staff throughout ie registration, valet, housekeeping, and the servers in the restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was delicious as were our lunch and dinner in the hotel. The ambiance is lovely and warm. The fitness center was good and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent.

The Delamar never disappoints. The rooms are perfectly decorated, very clean, and always comfortable. The food is excellent, the coffee amazing, and the staff always helpful and welcoming. We've stayed that the Delamar WH 10+ times and are always happy to have stayed there.

SPA!!! It’s so convenient and wonderful to have the spot located at the hotel. I’ve been working lots of long hours and I came in for a family event. The hotel was extremely luxurious comfortable, and the spa was a cherry on the top.

We had a wonderful overnight stay and truly enjoyed the luxury and comfort of the hotel. The dog-friendly experience meant so much to us—our 12 year-old pup was welcomed and had a great time as well. We’re already looking forward to returning this summer. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Ive been to the West Hartford location several times and the Greenwich location 6 years ago. The decor is lovely, clean simple casual elegance. Staff is friendly . Rooms are quiet comfortable and spacious. Nice small spa to get a massage or facial but wish they had a steam and sauna room to complete the spa experience. The gym is adequate with equipment and machines. There is always an event going on in the banquet room on the weekends. The Artisian restuarant has a nice atmoshere and the bar is nice as well. I can't say enough about my experience with The Delamar! From making the reservation to the time of check out, the staff ensured we would be taken care of. We were celebrating our best friend's 50th birthday by surprising her with a night away. They allowed us to check in early to decorate our rooms. We didn't even leave the hotel. We celebrated in our rooms and then at the hotel bar for the evening. Everything was perfect! The Delamar far exceeded our expectations and made our best friend's 50th a day and night to remember!

Very clean and comfortable. Rooms are appointed well, with nice tough options in the room like small macarons and chocolates, bottled water, espresso machine, and a stocked minbar ($$) Staff were Great, the restaurant looked good but I didn't dine. Breakfast was hot and fresh.

The hotel is beautiful and inviting. The rooms were cozy with faux fur blankets on the beds. The dining rooms offered delicious meals and snacks.

We specifically went for the Gilmore Girls getaway . Overall, even in spite of the delightfully creative fall package (dinner, picnic, spa treatment, tea) it was spectacular service and amenities. Good Food and Spa treatments complement the stay. Great rooms, clean, up to date features, very thoughtful service oriented approach with the guests in mind.

I absolutely love this hotel. Every detail was accounted for, and the service staff was amazingly helpful. One of my favorite things was the way that hotel smelled when you walked in the door. Or maybe it was the glass of Prosecco when I was checking in? Oh wait, I think it actually might’ve been the macaroons waiting for me when I walked in the room. As you can see, they nailed it at this hotel!

The Delmar-West Hartford was lovely. We were here for a wedding. The actual building was easy to spot and the valet service was great. Our room had a beautiful view of the back and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean. I have very sensitive hearing and was able to sleep through the night with no disturbances. The breakfast buffet was impressive - we also spent time hanging in one of the rooms that provided 24-7 coffee/tea.

What a wonderful time we’ve had at the lovely hotel Delamar. It was absolutely beautiful with stunning locations and fantastic, helpful staff. Unfortunately I injured myself a few weeks before the holiday. The hotel staff really couldn’t do enough for me, it made all the difference and it was much appreciated. I would 100 percent return to this gem of a hotel. Literally no faults.

The Delamare West Hartford is a fabulous place to stay. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. The hotel is impeccable. I can't wait to visit again. The general manager Mr. Sedek Elarabi and his staff is the absolutely best.

I always enjoy this hotel. Nicely decorated and clean rooms. Great gym equipment. The only negative was Artisan Restaurant. There needs a better chef or cook. The food just tasted like a tablespoon of salt and lacked flavor.

Well appointed hotel in a great location. The rooms are spacious, 24 hour gym had a lot of good equipment (machines, weights and a rig). Serve yourself buffet had enough variety for a quick something. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor seating area with a huge lawn and firepit.

It is a beautiful property, and the service is world-class. It is located near shopping and various boutique restaurants within walking distance. I had dinner, breakfast and lunch at the hotel and all of the food was good. Every employee I interacted with was kind and professional. Special thanks to Stuart, who was very helpful in facilitating my check-out. The next time I'm in Hartford, I will definitely be back. The next time I plan to visit their spa.

My wife and I just returned from taking our daughter to Wesleyan University in Middletown and our stay @ Delamar was the idealic reprieve we needed after two full busy and emotional days! The Delamar staff was lovely, accommodating, helpful & friendly. Our room was spacious and amazing! The complimentary breakfast is a huge bonus and we ate @ Artisan and had a fabulous dinner! My wife and I both agreed The Delamar will be our go to spot as our daughter just started at Wesleyan so we'll be returning often over the next four years!! Thank you for our incredible stay.

Worst hotel on the planet. Way over rated. The staff seems annoyed that you are disturbing them. Nothing was right from the cleanliness of the room to way we were treated and the way we felt. This no boutique hotel where you expect immediate service. I had to ask five people for help with a single issue. DON'T GO. EVER. You will regret it forever.

Loved everything about this hotel! The decor is so incredible stylish and well done…the rooms and beds are so cozy and comfortable. The bath products are so luxurious. The staff are so nice and friendly. We will be back no question!!

The hotel is in a good location with friendly staff, valet parking, complementary breakfast and large, clean rooms. We had a very comfortable stay.

The air conditioning is very loud. It is btw geared into the wall rather than a standalone unit. It came on and off during the night which was a bit annoying.

Hotel is very well appointed, King room was very spacious and well furnished. Large bathroom with lots of counter space. Minor issue with in-room coffee maker. Dining at the Artisan Restaurant and bar was very good, although table service needs a little more polish.

It was a beautiful hotel. I will say the morning staff at the registration welcome desk, specifically Gretta, was not warm or friendly, very robotic, and never smiled, which really removes the whole inviting customer service appeal. The valets were awesome, especially Raymond, very personable. The breakfast was amazing, and I loved the outside dining experiences, especially in the morning. The other staff were also fabulous, room service turned down our beds, and they were both professional and personable. We had our 3-year-old granddaughter and invited her to use the toy box of toys outside, which brought her joy. Both my husband and I are professionals and entrepreneurs, for over 20+ years, I would just offer a personal suggestion might be to offer a cheese and cracker light happy hour for guests to unwind, with a little music or local entertainment which shows appreciation to the guest and a personal side of your incredibly beautiful ambiance and unique side of your hotel. I would also mention to both Gretta and the other associate that her professionalism is great but by greeting customers/guest with a friendly smile makes them feel at ease especially for us after almost a 7-hour drive to come and visit our son just a short block away. Verbal testimonials go a long way especially as we will be visiting again and again, making that guest feel appreciated also goes a long way. The evening staff was great at the front desk always with a smile and eager to help...

This hotel was excellent from the time we pulled up at the valet until we left 2 days later. I am an ice person and there is no ice machine, but they brought it up immediately when I called. Check in was seamless and the bar was awesome as well as the breakfast! Definitely would stay again. The little town Square that is right across from it was also very quaint. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel that provides great service. We like that the valet parking and breakfast are included. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options and was very good. The location is excellent as you can easily walk to all the shops and restaurants in West Hartford. Also, we decided to go to Mystic for the day and parking is very difficult in town. We were able to park for free at Delamar in Mystic as guests of West Hartford. The hotel in Mystic was walking distance to down town Mystic.

The hotel itself is immaculate. I stayed in a Junior Suite, which featured a soaking stand alone tub. I enjoyed an amazing bubble in it. The room feels like a home away from home. I called in advance to identify which room featured the tub. Although I was given incorrect information, and thus booked the wrong room. Natalia upgraded me to the junior suite. Eric at the front desk was also super helpful. Elizabeth gave me a 90 minute massage that felt amazing. Since it was my birthday, I was presented with wine and a goodie bag upon my departure from the spa. The only down side was my car was slighted dented and scratched at the bottom by valet staff. I understand I did not have an expensive car, which were kept in the front of the hotel, but my car deserved the same service as all others or I could have parked it myself. Otherwise, my stay was great.

Best hotel in greater Hartford

We had such a great experience at this hotel. From the moment we showed up we received nothing but warm smiles, greetings, and help from the valet personnel and front desk. It really felt like a 5-star experience right away. From there, the fantastic experiences continued. We were blown away by our room. We loved waking up each day to a delicious cup of espresso and a chat at our great little table and cozy chairs. The huge bathing tub and bath salts were a luxurious way to end the day. The bathroom was fully stocked with everything we needed and we were even able to call for a loofah and some other amenities we forgot to bring with us. I felt like anything we needed would be taken care of and that was such a comforting feeling. The staff at this hotel should be so proud of creating this fabulous oasis for all of us travelers looking for a comfortable stay. I cannot wait to try the other locations.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly, which made my stay more enjoyable. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom lighting and water pressure in the sink could definitely be improved. I’d likely stay again because of the location, despite it being a bit pricey. A full breakfast menu during the week would be a nice addition as well but not a deal breaker.
