Great place. Clean. Fun. Nice room. Good food and service

As soon as i took my first breath it stunk. A constant fowl smell here. You can see the landfill site from my room window. Yuck

The only problem we had was someone else tried to enter our room. It was around 9 pm and a white man, hat, long hair and beard had access to our room. If I hadn't put the door stop on the door, he would have came right into our room. My husband went to the door and told the man he was in the wrong room and he finally left. How does another person have access to our room? It wasn't any staff member. I tried calling down to the front desk and got no answer, tried 2 times still no answer,. We were very uncomfortable and did not sleep well. I did report the incident next morning when we checked out. We should be compensated for the inconvenience.

Room was quite a long walk from the elevator and the stairs near to the room were for emergency use only.

The front entrance building and landscaping is beautiful. Appreciate a designated “pet area”. Liked the balcony! Beds were comfortable. The spa products were nice. Overall, the building itself is impressive! Front desk staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful.

I felt that the overall room itself and hallway carpet could use some updating. Hallway rugs looked dirty. The room I was assigned to was for pets. Unfortunately, I was at the total opposite end of where the elevator location was. There was only one functioning guest elevator! Every person I encountered was complaining about it. I had dinner to go from Portico’s. The dinner was good, but for a $100+, I found the food in small boxes…really?? Maybe look at something like a different packaging upgrade that the utensils don’t slice through. I wish the spa had later hours for guests staying one night. You check in after 4pm, so there’s only limited time until closing. I did buy some products from there that were nice.

A bit maintenance required to repair some lights and things that weren't working or missing. Also lack of washing cups and plasticware to use in room. Also some updated plug outlets. No usb c slots.

The staff in the restaurant where they serve breakfast was awesome they were super nice and friendly throughout the casino. The casino which didn’t payout too much gave a nice distraction during our stay. The guests at the hotel were also very friendly and hospitable.

The property was ok. It was a bit more outdated when it came to the hallway and the room on our floor. The rug in the hallway was very dirty it needed a good cleaning and the room color scheme looked like something from the 1970s Our room was not cleaned until we asked and they did not replenish items the way that they should have such as giving us soap and toilet paper. And then if housekeeping comes on the floor they unlock all the doors for some reason and don’t close them back properly. When we went out for an excursion our door was unlocked. Anyone could have came in. Also there is an incidental fee that they charged that was not noted when I booked the room (at least I did not see it) so I had to pay another $200+ dollars on arrival but I did get it back. Also to get an uber is very expensive and sometimes they take a long time to come or they don’t come at all. You have to call them at least an hour or so in advance if you need to get picked up.

Room was nice enough, bathroom looked good and clean although it didn't have an exhaust fan. Was convenient to have breakfast in the morning at the sociale cafe downstairs. Free soda/coffee in the casino is great perk while you gamble of course.

Asked for a mudslide at the bar, they told me they don't make any frozen drinks. Hmm, even Batavia Downs has a $5 mudslide the last time I checked. The sports bar area has betting kiosks hooked into Twinspires but oddly enough there's no way to bet on horse racing on any of these and I never saw it shown on any of the big screens either. Oh well. I guess I could've setup my laptop on a table in there and bet on races through my Twinspires account but they probably would've expected me to order food and drink to hangout in there for hours. Checked out but forgot a pair of pants in the room, called back when I got home and asked if I should drive back to pick them up, was told no worries they'd send them to me. Never heard back. Called a week later to check, person said they don't know who I talked to but they don't do that, after three days they get rid of it. So anyway, mixed feelings about this place, not in a hurry to return. Also if you go early in the week when the rates are affordable most of the restaurants in there are closed for business. The food court with a pizza stand and sub shop, those are open every day I think. A burger stand is open some days and not others etc. Surrounding area outside has very few businesses around, I saw a Dunkin and a Wendys.. which is obviously better than nothing but it's basically just a truck stop area off the Thruway.

The room was so comfortable. My husband enjoyed the casino. All the staff were helpful and efficient. The landscaping was beautiful.

The rooms were clean, the showers were amazing, the restaurant and cafe had really good food but very pricey. The bell hop was extremely nice and kind to us and observant.

The rooms were nice, but the beds were unreasonably high - we had older people with us and saw many older people staying there - don't know how they intend to have people having to climb onto the beds. The mattress could use a refresher, they were too soft. The cafe served very good food but it was extremely expensive. The staff at the casino was not very friendly and downright mean in some instances we encountered.

Need a pool

The location was good.The parking was good. The hallways were wide. I did like the style of the building and the decoration. They did a good job with a regular cleaning.However, they didn't tell us at check end that we needed to request daily cleaning. When I go to a hotel I want someone to pick up my trash, make my bed and get me new towels at a minimum every day.

The carpet was absolutely disgusting. It was super sticky, and you could tell it was very stained on the hallway, so I don't know when the last time was that they cleaned it. Even though the hallways and other areas of the hotel were cool, our room was hot and we had a hard time getting it to cool down. They moved us to a different room, whicch, they didn't have a king one available and my wheelchair would barely fit in the double queen room. The a c wasn't a whole lot better.You had to have it on high fan in order to feel it. I think it's a flaw in their system.

Always clean, always comfortable, and they scent the air in the lobby with some sort of magical fragrance that just makes you feel good.

Very friendly staff. Made you feel special and at home. The grounds and the resort itself.Lots of welcoming places to sit a spell especially the out side patio area We had our morning coffee there. The grounds are massive and looked after looking out the windows is so relaxing. JUST BEAUTIFUL!

Must admit the coffee didn't sit well with us but we are used to strong coffee. We were going to eat at the sociable but apparently need reservations we were not aware of. We ended up at sports book. The hamburgers were excellent . The staff were great.

Location to casino

I called housekeeping to request an extra blanket. They were very nice and said "certainly, is there anything else we can do for you?" I said no just the blanket. We went down for dinner and the casino. Came back exhausted and NO blanket. I just went to bed freezing. My partner likes the temperature cool as possible. Why didn't I get the blanket??

The Hotel allowed pets but the hall ways and rooms smelled fresh always. Normally a hotel that allows pets smells musty and like pets live there.

Good rooms and location.

I love staying at del Lago. I have many times. This time was not a good experience

Waiting for a call back from management as the front desk said I should get one back. The TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night multiple times and woke me up. I got a terrible night's sleep prior to having to work a 12 hour day.

Needs updating, carpets cleaned, hallways painted. I woke up to an awful smell at 1:30am. Went downstairs and spoke with a staff member who said the nearby landfill dump was the cause.

Incredible place to stay! From the moment we walked in to the moment we had to say “so long”, every moment was wonderful. Extremely clean room, friendly staff and great food!

The hotel lobby was nice and clean, the room hallways were dirty and appeared as though there was no vacuum cleaner available to clean with. Our room was ok for the most part, the shower gel was almost empty, one of the hooks on the wall in bathroom was broken and there was pepperoni and a tobacco tin in our garbage can which was left there by housekeeping. A bit disappointing

This casino is a big Ripoff. I spent $1,000 in 4 hours on the slot machines. They don't pay out anything over $50 or $60 at most. Everybody complains about this place and how they are ripping off all the patrons who come to play. You are much better off going to one of Lakeside Entertainment Casinos in either Union Springs, New York or in Seneca Falls, New York. At least there you can win some money and play for a long time. Del Lago has hundreds of employees walking around, seems like they are doing nothing but collecting a paycheck that you are paying for. Be smart, stay away from this crappy, sorry excuse of a Casino.

The room was great! Can access streaming from T.V. outlets and USB plugs all around room. Beds, super comfy. Bathroom has motion lights, and room as comfort lighting, along with being well lit. There are also reading lamps on the beds.

We have stayed at Del Lago several times. We were super disappointed this time. We tried to get showers at 11 with no hot water. Called the front desk, assured us it would b fixed, and then the next morning…still no hot water. They did however give us a $50 refund off of our total price.

Temp in rooms didn't stay cool. Fan kept shutting off even when set on high. Very uncomfortable sleeping.Flat sheets didnt stay on bedding and bed sheets tangled up around feet. Pillows not fluffy too flat, extra hand towel could be set. Had a connect door and people next to us was super loud after midnight. Paid extra money to see a deluxe king to a superior king room and was disappointed no difference between the king rooms just more money. No breakfast or discounts for café as a guest
