New Breeze Thoddoo Inn

Uredili so čudovite izlete

Great stay on Thoddoo, highly recommended. Great snorkeling trip with the owner Super breakfast The nicest employees Great location

localizzazione comoda rispetto alle spiagge

Beautiful accommodation. The location is very close to the beach. The host is very kind, they organized a welcome drink & snack after arrival. They were also helping us organizing all the transports, when we left the island.

Good location, well set up and excellent restaurant next door. Room cleaned every day and provided with free water! Plenty of space for what we needed

Najbolj prijazno osebje, odkar potujem in izredno dobra hrana. Narani sadni sokovi so odlični in jih dobite pri vsakem obroku.

We stayed as a family group of six in double rooms. The guesthouse is small, surrounded by nature, and an affordable yet surprisingly welcoming option. What truly stands out is the staff’s attention, especially Thilini, whose kindness and dedication made our stay unforgettable. Communication was excellent before and during our stay, and they took care of every detail, from the welcome with fresh juice to preparing breakfasts for early excursions. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with air conditioning and a semi-open bathroom. The breakfast is simple but complete, with the option of a delicious Maldivian breakfast. As we work for a travel agency in Benidorm – Alicante - España, we are confident that this accommodation is an excellent choice to recommend to our clients. The personalized attention, the staff’s friendliness, and the quality of the experience make it perfect for travelers seeking an authentic, affordable, and high-quality stay in the Maldives. Would we return? Yes, absolutely. We recommend it without hesitation

Nothing at all, everything was perfect. I just wish I could have stayed longer. These were my best days in Thoddoo

Mic-dejunul foarte bun si satios, nu s-a repetat in cele 6 zile in care am stat aici. Curatenia in camera s-a facut in fiecare zi.

Výborný pomer ceny a kvality ubytovania, dobrá lokalita. Nič nám nechýbalo. Ústretový a priateľský personál.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Nothing

The room was very nice and the staff super friendly

The bicycles and snorkeling gear were old/slightly broken

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Thilini and Zinn were truly excellent ambassadors for Thoddoo, they were always available and happy to help. When our ferry was delayed for bad weather Thilini stayed up late to get the most up to date information for us regarding the early morning speedboat.

Nothing. The accommodation is fairly basic but more than good enough for the low price.

Panie obsługujące przemiłe, zawsze uśmiechnięte i pomocne :) Bardzo blisko do plaż i restauracji.

It is really good located! The boss and staff are really friendly! Best ever! If you have doubt where to stay it is perfect place to spend your holiday! Rooms every day are cleaned, breakfast is best, juices and various type of foods. Thank you guys, we will come back to you!

The cheapest and best accommodation on thoddoo. Great service and staff behaviour. Maximum satisfaction.

We really enjoyed our time here. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The girls working there always asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything, which was really nice. Room was clean and comfortable, and they gave us fresh towels and sheets whenever we needed, no problem. Also really liked that there was a kettle and AC in the room. Breakfast was delicious every day, and the place is in a great location – just a few minutes to the beach. There were also bikes available for free that we could use anytime, which was super convenient, though some of them could definitely use a bit of maintenance or even replacement. The owner was really kind too. One morning he sat with us at breakfast and we had a nice chat – made the whole experience feel even more relaxed and personal. Would definitely come back if we visit Thoddoo again. Thanks for everything!

/

All the staff are nice. Including the owner.. FOOD WAS GREAT!! Bikes are highly accessible it’s just that they don’t have enough of it.

The AC is so low, tho it has fan but, it’s loud.

Everything was perfect! Especially the staff was amazing, friendly and when we needed something they always helped us! The girls were asking many times a day if we are okay or if we need something, which was really kind of them. The rooms were very clean and pretty, clean towels and bedsheets every day. Appreciated the kettle and the AC as we were travelling with a small baby. We also had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and the meals were always delicious. Location was also really good, just a few minutes walk to the beaches. There were bikes as well which we could take anytime we needed. Thanks a lot to the owner who went to the nearby hospital with us when my friend collapsed and managed everything for us. Would totally visit this place again when we are in Thoddoo. Highly recommend!!

Really loved the privacy. Breakfast was really good too.

We expected the tv to be a smart one, thats why didnt bring any devices. Medianet was also not available so couldnt use the tv at all.

Clean and neat! Feels very local but fancy as well. The staff here are nice! And the room, balcony and open roof? Bathroom as well. I loved looking out the window and look at the flowers.

Nothing much? The cheese chicken was very hot so it would be great if they warned me.

That’s amazing please for staying on Thoddoo island. Best location for the beach, restaurants and tourist trips agencies. They provide bicycles for guests. And the owner of that house lucky with good stuff. They really worried about my comfort, food and vacation. They arrange for me speed boat, early breakfast before leaving and they ask me what I prefer for my breakfast. They let me feel that I’m in my friend’s house.

Very good dishes ,fresh juice, good bed, friendly staff, perfectly positioned near to beatifuel beach

Aircondition was noisy-sometime,the neightbouring kitchen smelled(tropical lounge restaurant)

Nice clean rooms. Clean rooms every day. Very kind people who service me and my son. Decorarion on the bed was beatuiful. Close to beach and everything.

We had a great time. Thank you a lot for services, activities and all efforts. Raushan is the best host! This is the right acommodation for a Thoddoo visit. We will come back!!

We stayed in 3 different hotels on the island. Good staff, the girls are very attentive. Good breakfasts. Convenient location. Frequent room cleaning. Nearby there is a cafe "Astra", where fish soup, pizza and other dishes are deliciously prepared.

The room was not the one listed in the description of the hotel. There was no balcony, and there was nowhere to dry a towel. There was a single small window next to the door that wouldn't open. There are not enough free bikes, the bikes were in a nearby hotel.

the location was great—the beach was only a 5 to 10-minute walk away. Additionally, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant.

there were several issues that affected my overall experience. First, the speedboat was delayed by a full hour on the way there. On the return trip, things got even worse. The hotel owner was supposed to reserve a seat for me, but I was shocked to find there was no available seat. I had no choice but to sit in the front next to the boat driver—arguably the worst seat possible. The weather was terrible, and the trip should have been canceled. As a result, I endured a terrifying ride and ended up with multiple injuries. People’s lives are more important than quick profit. Safety measures should have been taken. My trip ended in a tragic way, from the airport to the hospital, due to the injuries I sustained. Inside the hotel, the bathroom needed serious maintenance and cleaning. While some insects are expected in such environments, poor management made the issue worse. Additionally, I was charged unexpected extra fees that were never discussed beforehand, which was quite frustrating. There was nothing extra in the room except for the towels, no shampoo, no hand soap..no tv, bad internet connection.

We liked the staff, everyone was si friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The host was kind and involved

Upon arrival we were greeted by two really nice girls who helped us with our luggage and served us some fresh orange juice. The room was big and comfortable, they cleaned it every day. The staff also organised our speed boat transport to the island and back. We liked the location, the beach was just a couple of minutes away.

The accommodation provided bicycles but only one of them was actually usable. Breakfast was good but it was the same every morning, we would apreciate some diversity. Most of the TV programs were not working.

From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Even before we arrived, they proactively shared all the details on how to get from the other island to the hotel. Upon our arrival, they were there to greet us, making us feel immediately welcome. A big thank you to Raushan, the Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we were happy throughout our stay. I also want to give special thanks to the amazing operation team of ladies who took care of all our requests daily. They provided us with snorkeling equipment, bicycles for getting around, and shared all the useful information about the island. Additionally, they helped us arrange a fantastic buggy tour and ensured smooth transportation to and from the port. The attention to detail and the excellent service truly made our stay unforgettable! Highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional hospitality!

I highly recommend this hotel. It is the best hotel in terms of access to the most beautiful beach. The hotel restaurant is cheap and very tasty. The gentleman gave us a better room without additional payment, which delighted us. The owner of the hotel is very nice and helped us in every situation. The hotel has a very helpful lady who is also very nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel with all my heart, if you are on Thoddoo choose this hotel.

Really nice room with very friendly staff

The staff is amazing. So kind and helpful The room is very well equipped and clean The open air bathroom The location is very central

Nothing

This guesthouse is very cool. It has all the amenities you need, the staff are wonderful people with a good heart who will always help and advise you. Next time we will also stay in this hotel. New Breeze also provided free bicycles, which were very convenient for travelling around the island. Only the best experiences

Very kind girls taking care at the property, very flaxible with breakfast, highly recommended 🤗

Bathroom was in poor condition, needs some repair.

We had Privacy all they time, tasty food everyday, you can borrow a snorkling staff, everything was close destination. You can rent a bike in accomodation 5$ per day

We could not close a balcony door

the room is large, clean, comfortable

I didn’t like the non-commitment of the staff, they speak bad English and don’t understand English at all. And it's their fault. We missed the ferry. We were not provided with the buggy that were due in the morning and had to sail to another island at a price significantly higher than we had originally planned.

Great place for stay! Nice supporting people providing the best service. Rooms are clean, quite, great meal! We had breakfast and dinner and it was the best choice. Highly recommended!!!

All you need:) Clean and comfortable room, close to everything. Friendly staff!!

We had wonderful time in New Breeze. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean room, good location. Everything was perfect.

location was ok Staff was friendly

1. Air conditioning was making a loud noise as though the airplane taking off. It is also located right in front of one side of the bed. 2. Construction from both sides of the guest house. 3. Small breakfast so I had to go and get another breakfast in the local restaurant. Overall this was our 3rd guest house on this island. I recommend finding a different place if the price is the same.

The girl who work there. She was super nice and take care of us. The host also was nice. We really liked that the rooms has private outside Area with the shower and table. For Big plus i would say bicykles avalible which was helpfull with going thru puddle in the village

We like everything

The staff Zinn is amazing person. She helped us a lot. She gave us umbrella and helped to dry our clothes. This guest house gives bicycle for free and we rode the bicycle in island .The best thing is that this guest is located near the ocean. I recommend it everyone

Daily room cleaning Will be perfect

-not far from the road going to the beach -shower is outside and nearby with the blossoming tree -there is a coral nearby, so you can go snorkeling

-there was no everyday clean in the room -no drinking water in comparison with other hotels where I was supplied with water every day. -first I was given the room with their restaurant nearby but for me it was noisy and I could smell an unpleasnt smell of cigarettes in the corridor from this restaurant. So they changed a room for another one, again noisy as in the morning at 7 o'clock there were constructions works nearby. -note that in Thoddo island garbage is burnt, so in the evening one can smell some of it. -there were bicycles in the yard, I asked to take one. But was told that they didn't have a working one.

nice beach, turtles can be seen at the bikini beach. large shallow lagoon good for swimming. safe in the room, refrigerator for fruits, and tap for purified water.

the owner did not allow to pay for the room in MVR (local currency). and charges extra 4% for credit card. since banks would not change to USD you are forced to pay extra if you didn't bring enough USD in cash. the room is equipped with kettle but no sugar or tea. has TV but does not receive any channels, has soap bottles without marking so cant figure out which one is shampoo. most of the tourists are from Russia - so its hard to make friends when most do not speak english no pickup from the harbour or welcome drink. the room was not cleaned during my stay (4 nights). noise from restaurant and room next door. bad wifi. no one at the reception for days. room did not include breakfast. no beach towel. the beach is 10min walk - no bike for the guests. gap under the door and in the bathroom allow insects to come in.

The apartment is in a very good location, beautiful design, clean, cozy, comfortable, close to the bikini beach. The staff is polite, pleasant, positive. We were satisfied. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were spacious and having a private entrance was super convenient. The host and the staff were so hospitable and ensured that we were well attended to.

Everything was great there was nothing to dislike.

The staff of New Breeze was incredibly helpful and kind. They helped us with suitcase and explained us everything we needed to know, how to get to the beach, they gave us bikes and cooked for us exactly what we needed. The location is very calm and close to the beach. They took us snorkeling for free.
