The bed was comfortable

The toilet didn’t flush, the shower pressure was terrible, and it felt like everything needed to be updated.

at least can sleep through 1 nite - lucky toilet worked fine and had hair dryer available and wifi

room is old, not maintain - wall cracks, paints on wall off, - No Towel when checked in and tootbrush - they did not set up (Forgot) - tooth brush is out of stock so have to go out and buy. Shower area - room floor - windows - just not clean at all. so feeling worry for one nite since you can see is not so clean. curtain sheer just 1 section while the door has bigger section - not full covered. Shower pressure water very small, drainage not working well. TV style old style very small. for the price we paid we could got other hotel that have much better quality of room and cleanliness. Too bad while the location is good.

Staffs are friendly and always attend to our requests. The staffs welcome us with warm greetings and serve us with welcome drinks !

The bathroom is stuck and water can’t flow properly. Overall all are great and definitely will come back again !

The breakfast could be better. And the place looked a bit let down, the photos look better then in real life.

At this this location is just out of the madness of the business of Ubud central. There is a convenience store nearby and a small temple but the road way is narrow and not the easiest to navigate. Room was fair but some human hair in the sink and shower, toilet would barely flush and you need to wait an eternity for it to refill before trying again. Questionable electrical cables under bed and into walls, I had two archs with spark when I plugged my adapter in - so I left it. Plunge pool Ok but the ranch slider doors would not open or close properly - had to force one open and leave it open for my stay.

I left after 1 night as I decided Ubud was not my thing; over tourism and rubbish everywhere. Traffic madness and noise.

Excellent staff. On my request they arranged anniversary special candle light dinner for us.

Menu is very limited, they should think of adding some more vegetarian items. Mineral water is too costly, it would be great if they can keep Cans of pure drinking water on every floor.

Our Villa was very beautiful. Private pool was very cosy. We took a couple spa as well. Masseuses were very good. Our spa was so relaxing. Our private tours to Nusa Penida and East Bali were valued for money. Our guide Putu was very cordial and helpful. Whole hotel staff was very nice to us. It didn’t feel like it was our first time in Bali. We had a great experience at Athaya Ubud.

nothing as such. My wife is a vegetarian so she had less options in food menu. They can probably introduce couple of options for vegetarians as well

There was urine in the toilet when we arrived to our room. The staff were smoking in the kitchen and there was ants everywhere in the room.

The receptionist was lovely.

Was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The private pool was one of the main reasons I booked but it had bugs in it and was run down, I did not swim in it. The couch was dirty, the room was damp and the bathroom was not pleasant. It was also hard to locate staff for assistance at the reception.

The washrooms and the private pool area could have been more clean and maintained.

The staff is amazing and extremely friendly. But I didn't like the rooms and location os bit secluded. Not much breakfast options are available. I rate 10/10 for super friendly staff.

The location is on point there is nearby Gym cafes Mart the rooms are ok but the staff are too helpful.

I booked for 3 nights and only stayed 1 night. The room is old, the shutter didn't work, the sofa was very dirty, the private pool doesn't get any sun and was very dirty, I didn't even go in. When I saw the hotel kitchen I didn't stay any longer because I knew I couldn't eat there, it was very dirty! The a la carte breakfast is awful and with the kitchen in that state, there's no way I'm going to eat there.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating! I went as a solo traveller to Bali for my birthday and in my birthday they organised a cake for me and decorated my bed. So lovely of them! The breakfast was good too each morning

There were ants everywhere. However, we’re in Indonesia in the jungle section so can’t be too picky however they were on the restaurant tables and I often found a few ants in the bed however this was not due to uncleanliness from the hotel, just nature as I said

The pool is famtastic and the rooms are clean. Also beds are so comfortable. I also loved the spa massage and the people in the reception. They were so helpful when we wanted to organise some day trips around Ubud and arranging drivers for the day.

The showers could be cleaner but it was not a big deal for me and my friends

Seems they need to check and clean/replace old water plumb. Rusty water blocked our own filter.

The staff were excellent, responsive, polite, and friendly. Location was quiet but a bit isolated. The hotel has a reasonable restaurant on site, and a mini mart is only 50mtrs away. Several cafes and restaurants are close by as well as 2 laundries.

Location was a bit isolated and requires transport to go anywhere. Facilities and the room needs a refurbishment. We stayed in a private pool room and the pool was not clean and had mould in it. The bathroom had not been cleaned and bins not emptied. Lounge was stained and dirty and overall cleanliness was not good.

Great location away from the busy Ubud, yet just a short ride away. Friendly staff who are always willing to help with any requests.

Very less vegetarian options, so became boring to have same breakfast. But with food delivery and cafes nearby it is not a major challenge.

the place was dirty; had stains and had dirty toilets, cutleries etc. We changed the hotel because it was overtly dirty but they charged us one additional night for cancellation, certainly not something I was happy about...

Maintenance for the facility need to be updated. The fence outside the family room on the third floor need to be update and rebuilt safety and stronger.

I stayed here for one month during my yoga teacher training at Samyama. For me, it was the perfect location only a four minute walk away from the studio. It’s a very quiet, peaceful area of town with lots of nature nearby. The garden area was especially beautiful, always clean, and was a great place to take a swim after a long day at the training. It’s a small hotel, so it was also nice that not too many guests were around. The room was spacious and well, equipped with a fridge and kettle, which made breakfast on my day off very easy. The bed I thought it was especially comfortable the sheets super soft and pillows great!!! most of all however, the staff made the experience even better. I had a three day, silent retreat during part of which we could not look in the mirror, and the staff helped me cover my very large mirrors in the bathroom and bedroom! Thank you for everything!

Anything I had an issue with was quickly resolved by the staff! I had one lamp missing in the bedroom and the next day they had it replaced. If you want your towels replaced more often or a bathroom cleaned. Just let them know and they will do it.

Everything. The beds were comfy, the staff were so krill and friendly. They helped us book tours, sorted out bikes for us and collected us from the airport and helped drop us off at the boat ports. The location was perfect , walking distance to some restaurants and a quick 5 minute drive into UBUD main town and Monkey Forest. The staff were particularly the best, they were so friendly and helpful. They even packed a good breakfast for our hike to Mount Batur. We would stay there again.

We had an overall enjoyable experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the stay pleasant from the start. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants nearby and TiTiBatu pool club and Jeans Spa. The pool area was a peaceful retreat, providing a quiet atmosphere for relaxation. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with all necessary amenities. 10min distance with a car/bike to the Center.

The only downside was the cleanliness in the bathroom - visible calc buildup in the toilet and bathtube.

Problematic shower. It was not possible to adjust temperature of hot shower so always too hot, water amount was inconsistent, water was flowing to various directions due to mud inside shower head. And not enough cooking tools and lights for kitchen. Other facilities were quite OK quality so I wish them to improve this point enthusiastically.

We loved everything about Athaya. The room was private and no sound. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was tasty from the restaurant. The street is probably one of the rare quiet streets in Ubud. Amazing location.

Athaya is the #1 place to stay in Ubud. We had everything we needed and more, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. The view from our balcony was spectacular. Location is in a perfect spot, quiet and calm but central to the highlights of Ubud. Dewa was exceptionally helpful with driving us around, prompt responses to our queries / requests and always went above and beyond to meet our needs. We will definitely be staying here again!!

the villa outdoor is beautiful, and you can't expect like it is in hotel as it a village and everything you see here are all village style of living. but the staff are 100% on assisting on any matters.

the bed mattress is not comfortable on other stuff I can accept as this is village style of living. No cable TV, as mentioned while book for this property it should come with cable TV, so I was not happy on this. As I have to use my personal NETFLIX account to enjoy my stay night

Athaya is like a home me and my friends really enjoyed the stay , staff were helpful and always ready to assist.

The Hotel can be better if slightly given extra care. It is in a perfect location with great facilities, when we left we missed the freedom and care we received there.
