Cottage had not been cleaned. Owner had her cleaning person come and do the cleaning. The owner lived an hour away. The owner did show up the next offering with a peace offering of strawberries and cream and cake, much appreciated. I'm very dissappointed with Booking.com and will not be using you again. I tried to cancel or rebook at a different time as my traveling companion had broken his leg five days before the trip. If I cancelled I would loose full amount and wasnt able to speak to a person to explain. Your AI sucks.

Area was nice grounds were kept up.

Compose bucket was not empty ,hood fan did not work, had a few ant friends, side door was not level so had a space under door so when it rained had a puddle on the floor and in the bathroom the ceiling looks like there is some mold we got running nose when we were in there. Cabin needs some repairs.

It was beautiful, clean and tranquil.

The toilet paper could have been better quality so you wouldn't have to use so much. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the electric fireplace or maybe it was just ornamental. The tub/shower could use a handicap grab bar to get in and out of the tub. But the cottage itself was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.😊

Die Lage war super. Das Haus hatte eine Terrasse zum Wasser hin. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Es war sehr ruhig.

There was some confusion between booking.com and the owners in communication with us. We never received an email confirming which cottage we had secured. We checked the spam folder just in case but there was no email aside from the confirmation of payment. It all worked out thanks to another guest who had a cell number for the owner.

Amazing location right on the water Everything was great.

Nothing. Just beware of the long gravel road which the Map app might try to take you down approx 1 km before you get there. If you stay on the paved road there's another paved route to get to the cottages.

Amazing view, very clean and nicely set up private cabin! The spa bath was incredibly comfortable and relaxing! Overall had a good experience!

Everything. The view, was amazing. The cottage was comfy and cozy. The theme of the sea throughout.

Not that we didn't like it, more of a suggestion. A grab bar or two in the bathroom for getting in and out of the tub. The tub is high and for seniors it can be an issue.

Quiet location so clean and comfortable. Spectacular views. Check in is always easy.

The water view. The staff member who REALLY helped otherwise the check-in might have been a problem. She made IT Work. She deserves the 10 plus!!

Not having a phone number where you can reach somebody quickly. Trying to figure out which cottage was assigned to us because we never received an email that was supposedly sent. Maybe advising the onsite staff which cottage is for the incoming guests.

Everything was very good, peace and quiet exceptional , enjoyed the birds and numerous deer , staff very friendly, a beautiful, wonderfully quiet place to get a good rest, very clean

The view was spectacular, the cottage itself was so comfy and cozy. They had everything you needed for your stay. Will definitely book again

The wifi could have been a bit stronger. Kinda glad it wasn’t though. Was nice to unplug.

The cottage was simple but completely met our needs and was accurately advertised. We loved our “neighbours” the deer who visited multiple times a day. Having satellite tv meant we were able to watch the Blue Jays on their World Series run! Do wish that there were a few restaurants and a grocery store a little closer but the location was beautiful and relaxing.

No complaints or concerns. Perhaps a newer couch?

These people have done a beautiful job in building cottages on the Atlantic coast. The cottage in themselves are well maintained and are clean and comfortable. They have everything that someone would want. I highly recommend Whispering Waves cottages.

We liked the location. It was a nice little hideaway place to go. The free firewood was a bonus and much appreciated.

The jacuzzi tub when we turned the jets on it spewed out disgusting stuff and was definitely unusable. The door in the one bedroom stuck very much in the floor and was difficult to close. The toilet paper was very thin.

Very nice and quiet location. Cottage had everything we needed and more. Well kept property with firepit and small beach to explore at low tide.

The view and surrounding scenery is breathtaking. The cottage was spotless, had everything we could want and it was so relaxing. We are already booked for October.

I love that it’s right on the water and the great, level and spacious lawn is great for lawn games and children and dogs to run around on. The cottage was very spacious and I loved the large, covered deck.

Only minor things really. The taps in our bath/shower were very wobbly and I wasn’t able to find a hair dryer in our room. Although the bed was very comfortable to sit on, I didn’t find the mattress very supportive. A little too “squishy” for me and wasn’t able to sleep well. Something I wouldn’t have thought of if it hadn’t happened during our stay, we lost the power for a few hours and although we had a few little tea lights, some emergency candles and/or a flashlight on the premises would have come in handy. Water was delivered to each of the cottages during the outage which we very much appreciated.

We love the quiet and the fact that our dog is welcome.

Everything we needed, very nice spot, very quiet. The fireplace gave off enough heat to warm up the cottage.

Only thing was the jetted tub did not turn off properly, when the jets were turned off the motor turned back on after it was drained and we had to use the breaker to turn it off.

The cottage was comfortable, in a great quiet location by the water, and we had a wonderful sunset as a bonus! The amenities are not luxurious, but good and as described. We only planned an overnight stay, so did not see much of the area. Would be good for longer stays however.

Nothing, the stay was perfect

Before I start, a HUGE shout out to the owners Trent & Pam! Our mini vacation at Whispering Waves Cottages was just what we needed. The waterfront views are absolutely stunning at any time of day! Our teens went into the water for a dip. There were some deer around the outer perimeter of the property that didn’t bother us but beautiful to see around. The cottage was clean and spacious for 4 of us and lots of seating area outside of the cottage and on the property. Bring some groceries and drinks with you so you don’t have to go out again. Most restaurants and stores are about 25–30min away and be mindful that many may close earlier than you might be used to. If you enjoy beaches, there are many around in all directions to explore. We had lovely neighbours who were a great wealth of information & extremely helpful to us. (They have been going there for over 15 years and couldn’t speak enough about Whispering Waves and the owners!) We found ourselves in a big pickle one day and Trent & Pam were able to help us problem solve. We can’t express our gratitude enough for this support!!! 💗 We hope to be back again with some more family & friends!

We got 2 cottages for our family New Year reunion, both of which were beautiful. The location was lovely, with a nice sunset view. Gorgeous for couples or small families. Lovely and responsive hosts.

Not that I didn't like it, I loved all of it, but one of our our cottage's bbq pit could have been a little cleaner.

It was a beautiful and quiet location, The sunsets from our cottage (#1) were amazing. The cottage had everything we could need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway and the jacuzzi tub was fantastic. It is a place that we would love to return to.

Set up a direction board with cottage name on it will make it easier to location the cottage.

The communication with the property owner was excellent, there were no surprises, the decor and art work was lovely and the kitchen was fully equipped. There was a basket with shells and rocks that had guest comments and artwork. Although not beach weather, (we were there mid October) we went to beach to find a rock to leave a message with the pen provided. We arrived on the evening of the harvest moon and it was not in our view in the evening but we woke up to view it over the ocean in front of the cottage. My sisters and I took our elderly mother with dementia on a road trip and our stay at the cottage was perfect. Our mom gave our trip a !0/10 and a good part of that goes to the accommodations.
