nice hotel in a remote setting, near metro Daan Park (200 m, Exit 1), spacious room with two separate aircons (good for switching one off at night, less background noise), proper bathroom, WiFi with high bandwith, good breakfast with a lot of variety, also matching European tasts, nearby Daan Park (250m) is relaxing

everything was ok, enquiries at the reception worked well despite some language differences, asking for room-service despite red sign put onto the door handle, was kind, but also a bit annoying

Easy commute and close to restaurants, supermarket and simple breakfast.

Cleaning of room not on time. Out at 09:30 am with Clean Room tag hanged. Returning around 13:00. Hot and sweaty. Room not cleaned. Contact Front Desk, waited for 45 minutes. Called again. “They are on lunch break” is the reply.

Near MRT station.

Location is amazing, very quiet street, decent size room, cozy place, well maintained and cleaned, drinks available 24 hours

Check-in policy could be more flexible. When we arrived earlier and the room was available they didn't let us in and we had to wait until 3 pm (taking into account that we stayed around 3 weeks)

Great location, room arrangement, small kitchen, great bed(not too soft &not too hard), l love it so much.

Nice little hotel in a downtown neighborhood with easy access to all that Taipei has to offer

This was my second time staying here and I am again very happy with the experience. Staff are very helpful. Location is excellent. And rooms offer very good value.

Location was good. It wasn’t a very big hotel so it wasn’t super busy.

Breakfast was terrible. Real lack of choice. Small and no variety. If you don’t like what is on offer on day one, then you won’t like day two or three either.

The location is amazing (literally about 3 minutes' walk from Entrance 1 to Daan Park metro station). Room was great - spacious with a very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Overall had a great stay and would strongly recommend.

Nothing really. The aircon in my room was a little bit cold and turning it to a higher temperature didn't seem to do anything, but it wasn't a big issue so I didn't ask about it.

Clean and quite. Near to 7-11 and MRT station too.

Nothing.

Loved our stay at the Corner House, unassuming and welcoming. Staff were so courteous and helpful. It was lovely to have a coffee machine in the lobby area 24/7. Absolutely no complaints, just thank you!

Having to leave the Corner House, that comfy bed and Taipei!

We liked the location of The Corner House. It was quiet. Checkout was noon, which was also nice.

Our room felt very very small and cramped. It was very dark. Neither of us enjoyed it. Breakfast was okay.

Fantastic location, a quiet neighborhood with groceries, restaurants and services just a short walk away, and upscale trendy shopping streets nearby. Staff are super helpful to us non-Chinese speakers! Breakfast was varied with different dishes every day. Super clean! It was very hot and humid when we stayed, and the room became a little musty, and the air conditioner was loud, but overall the stay was terrific.

Overall a very solid hotel with great location to Da’an Park and very close to MRT.

Lighting in bathroom sink area could be better.

I've stayed here before, the last time was a few years ago, but the experience was as good as I remember. Friendly staff, spacious and well-outiftted accommodation, good beds, very nice bathroom. I got an unexpected upgrade to a residential suite (having booked a regular suite) and the extra space was very welcome during my week's stay. One of the nice things about this hotel is they have very fast WiFi (250 Mbit/s up/down), which is great if you have to work a lot from the room, as I did. Breakfast is not huge, but give a choice of Asian and European cuisine, with fruit, rolls and cereals as well and it's plenty for a good start of the day. Also, the hotel provides a daily bottle of water for free (four in a residential suite) which is something many more expensive hotels just don't bother with - and essential considering the need to stay hydrated, especially in the hot summer months.

Nothing, I had a great stay and any nits to pick are too small to mention here. For attending Computex, it's not the best location - you need to transfer on the MRT, and it's relatively far from Nangang - but it's eminently doable. And Xinyi is just a few stops away if your affairs take you there, as is Taipei Main Station.
