Always get a warm welcome from Despina,Manoli and Niko. Room was spacious and clean and tidy. Great views from the balcony, in a quiet location.Good WiFi and home made cake in the room is a nice touch.

Gestori gentili e disponibili. La proprietaria ci ha accolti come gente di famiglia con torta e brindisi di benvenuto, nei giorni successivi frutta fresca dei loro alberi. Avevamo a disposizione un appartamento nuovo, con tutti i comfort, cucina attrezzata, bagno grande, doppia camera e soggiorno con televisione (e addirittura Netflix). Parcheggio comodo in zona tranquilla e silenziosa ma vicina alla strada principale del paese. Posizione eccellente per visitare la parte est dell'isola che conserva ancora la famosa accoglienza greca. Possibilità di utilizzare la lavatrice (a pagamento)

We liked the location as it was easy to walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. The apartment was ideal and had everything we needed. We would be happy to book the apartment again for next year.

Wir haben nur 1 Nacht dort verbracht können nicht so viel dazu sagen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich.

Soggiorno ad inizio settembre. Studio piccolo ma pulito e funzionale, arredato con gusto. Probabilmente ristrutturato di recente. Cucina con tutto il necessario per cucinare. Bella piscina. Parcheggio in loco. A pochi passi dalla spiaggia cittadina e a 15/20 minuti di auto dalle spiagge più belle della zona. Staff simpatico ed amichevole, grandi Nikos e Despina

Ad essere pignoli: la vista non è il massimo, letti non comodissimi, doccia così così.

​Charmante Gastgeber, insbesondere Despina, die einen sehr herzlich begrüßt und umsorgt. Die Anlage, die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, wird gut in Schuss gehalten. Es ist alles da, was man braucht: Die Klimaanlage funktioniert super und das Zimmer lässt sich perfekt abdunkeln. Zudem wurde das Bad vor kurzem frisch saniert. Der Balkon ist klasse zum Sitzen, den Meerblick zu genießen und um den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten. Auch das Klientel im Hotel war sehr nett und rücksichtsvoll, sodass eine familiäre Atmosphäre entstand.. Handtücher werden nach zwei Tagen gewechselt und der Müll jeden Tag entfernt.

Da es offenbar keine Trittschalldämmung gibt, hört man recht viel von den Nachbarn (wir hatten zum Glück ein Zimmer im Obergeschoss). Für unsere Rücken war die Matratze nicht ganz optimal, da ich das Gefühl hatte, sie ist mittig etwas durchgelegen. Geschirr und schwerer zugängliche Ecken hätten noch etwas sauberer sein können. Rund um das Hotel gibt es ein paar verlassene Grundstücke und Baustellen (dafür kann Helios natürlich nichts, es trübt eben ein wenig die Idylle). In Makry Gialos ist die Unterkunft vergleichsweise sicher eine sehr gute Adresse. Wir waren hier 3 Tage auf Zwischenstation, persönlich ist bei uns der Funke zu diesem Ort leider nicht ganz übergesprungen.

Eine super sympathische Gastgeberin, die sehr aufmerksam ist. Und es ist alles super sauber.

Die korrekte Adresse war nicht im booking hinterlegt und bekamen wir erst nach telefonischer Anfrage, als wir die Unterkunft nicht gefunden hatten. Es ist alles sehr eng. Das Studio zu dritt war schon sehr knapp. Unbedingt die richtigen Fotos ansehen. Die Toilette ist in der Dusche. Es gibt kein warmes Wasser.

Απίστευτη φιλοξενία από τους οικοδεσπότες. Ένιωθες σαν στο σπίτι σου. Η κ.Δέσποινα είναι ένας ξεχωριστός άνθρωπος που μπαίνει στην καρδιά σου από την πρώτη στιγμή. Συγχαρητήρια γι αυτό που έχετε δημιουργήσει όχι μόνο για τις παροχές που είναι άψογες αλλά και την αληθινή φιλοξενία που παρέχεται. Σίγουρα θα σας ξαναεπισκεφθουμε.

Όλα ήταν πάρα πολύ ικανοποιητικα.

Πρώτα από όλα η γλυκύτατη και πάντα χαμογελαστή Κυρια Δέσποινα!! Μας υποδέχτηκε μας καλωσόρισε με χαρά μας είχε το κέρασμα μας!! Ότι θέλετε να ρωτήσετε είναι πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσει!! Το διαμέρισμα μας ήταν ωραίο άνετο με πλήρη κουζίνα ,ακόμα και πλυντήριο πιάτων!! Ένα δωμάτιο με δύο μονα κρεβάτια και το άλλο ένα διπλό κρεβάτι!! Θέα το Μάκρη Γιαλό!! Ευχάριστη και η Θέα από την πισίνα!! Αν ξανά πάμε Κρήτη θα το επιλέξουμε πάλι!!

Top ausgestattetes Appartment in ruhiger Lage mit sehr sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeberin. Vor allem die Küchenutensilien sind lobenswert zu erwähnen.

Bei einem zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt hätte die Toilette durchaus einmal geputzt werden können. Die Matrazen waren uns zu weich. Das ist jedoch Geschmackssache.

Paesino molto bello, comodo per accedere alle belle spiagge dell’est. Gli appartamenti sono grandi e gestiti da una famiglia meravigliosa.

Wir sind sehr sehr freundlich empfangen worden von der Besitzerin eine Herzensgute Frau.. Sofort brachte sie kühle Getrönke und gab uns direkt Obst für das Frühstück mit.. Mein Mann bekam am nä Morgen direkt einem frischen griechischen Kaffee.. Mehr geht nicht.. Es standen viele tolle Leckereien bereit.. Wir kommen wieder wenn es uns nochmal dorthin verschlägt..

L'emplacement, l'accueil chaleureux et l'attention quotidienne. On se sent accueilli comme de la famille! L'emplacement est idéal pour rayonner sur tout le sud-est, et toutes les commodités nécessaires sont a portée de main. Makrygialos est un endroit très sympathique.

L'appartamento era nuovo con tutto il necessario compresa la lavastoviglie. La signora è fantastica. Ci ha fatto assaggiare i suoi fichi e lasciato anche una bottiglia di raki. Dall'appartamento c'era una vista stupenda del paese di Makris Gialos. Perfetto per esplorare il sud est di Creta.

Very well equipped appartment, clean, comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool. Very kind host, we were welcomed with home baked cake and rakia and got also some vegetable during our stay.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο καί διαμπερές, είχε πολλή ωραία θέα και σχετικά κοντά σε μακρύ γυαλο με τα πόδια. Το προσωπικό ήταν πάρα πολύ ευγενικό καί εξυπηρετικο και η καθαριότητα επίσης.

Ήταν λίγο εκτός πόλης για νά βγεις βόλτα με τα πόδια επίσης τα κρεβάτια ήταν παλιά.

The room and bathroom is very basic.

The owners were extremely nice and I mean it, the location is decent if you ask me, walking distance to the beach or restaurants area. Decent sized pool and balcony, possibility to park inside or nearby.

I have nothing to complain, it was exactly as expected.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Ein schönes, helles, kleines Studio mit einer wundervollen Aussicht auf Pool und Bucht. Gutes WLAN und bequeme Betten. Fenster mit Mückenschutz und tw. sogar elektrischen Rollos. Modernes Badezimmer mit Fenster (allerdings auch recht klein). Klima funktionierte sehr gut. Küche war sauber und funktional und es gab ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck und Zubehör. Gute, ruhige Lage am Hang, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zu Geschäften und Restaurants. Am Hang+gute Aussicht heißt natürlich auch, dass der Weg recht steil ist. Parkplätze vorhanden. Schöner Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen und Sitzbereich, Dusche und WC Raki und Kuchen gab es als Willkommensgruß.

Hier muss man suchen - es gibt einen winzigen, kabelgebundenen Wasserkocher und wenig Arbeitsfläche in der Küche. Eine Rolle Küchentücher wäre immer willkommen

Le robinet de la douche très difficile a régler (eau bouillante). Le toaster qui est lent . Canapé défraîchi mais confortable. Tres bon rapport qualité prix. Logeuse présente et très gentille.

Die Unterkunft hat eine Seele und die heißt „Despina“. Sie ist die Inhaberin und begrüßt alle persönlich und ist ein so lieber Mensch! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in unserem Apartment. Es war sauber und die Lage war sehr gut. Auch der Poolbereich ist sehr gut und man kann dort mit einem Sonnenschirm und Liegen den Tag verbringen.

Die Anlage ist natürlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber man merkt, dass sich sehr bemüht wird um alles in Schuss zu halten.

The property was on quiet location but within walking distance of the beach. Some shops and tavernas. The studio was clean and light. A small kitchenette with fridge and hob. Nice pool. The folks running the accommodation were friendly and helpful .

To access the property requires going up quite a steep hill which some people may struggle with if walking.

Θα μπορούσε να είναι ακόμα καλύτερη η θέα της θάλασσας του Μακρύ Γιαλού...Αλλά για αυτό δεν ευθύνονται οι ιδιοκτήτες του καταλύματος.

Location, amazing friendly host

Nous avons adoré l accueil et la soucis de notre bien etre. La mama etait aux petits soins et d une gentillesse absolue. Les chambres sont spacieuses et en bon etat. Le petit dejeuner peut etre pris dans un hotel attenant, buffet avec tout ce qu il faut.c etait juste ce dont on avait besoin. Merci encore a l equipe et la mama..

Ich wurde herzlich Empfangen von Despina welche mir ein kaltes Getränk serviert hat. Weiter ging es mit süssem Gebäck, einer Flasche Wasser und Ouzo auf dem Zimmer. Alles ist sehr sauber, mit viel liebe und freude eingerichtet. Der ganze Pool durfte ich für mich alleine geniessen. Anfangs Mai ist Kreta noch nicht überfüllt. Beim Check out gabs ein "Guten Morgen" Kaffee. Sehr gerne komme ich wieder hier her zurück, vielen Dank!

Appartement clair, lumineux, joliment décoré. Accueil chaleureux et adorable de l hôtesse. Son fils tient un autre hôtel dans le village et il s est montré très serviable, nous donnant des renseignements sur une randonnée que nous souhaitions faire. Beaucoup de calma car hors saison.

Les draps sont trop petits pour le grand lit.

The apartment is really clean and has nice views over the mountains and sea. The hosts are welcoming with cake and raki The apartment is cleaned every day and is in a peaceful location The sandy beach is not spectacular, but nice, there are also some hotel beach clubs nearby.

The walk to the apartment was uphill. The pool is really small and looks more like a kiddie pool. This was not a place for relaxation in the evening for more than one couple of guests at a time. We had ants the decided to camp in our bed on the first night of our stay and were quite persistent throughout the week.

Moc milá paní majitelka, dostala jsem ovoce, domácí zákusek, kávu. Hezké, čisté pokoje.

Es war aussergewoehnlich ruhig und hatte einen schoenen Ausblick auf den Hafen von Makri Gialos.

Eines der Kissen war steinhart und das Licht des Fernsehers hat ein wenig gestoert.

Più un hotel per famiglie che per coppie o viaggiatori singoli, la stanza è praticamente un monolocale con tutto ciò che occorre per cucinare e mangiare in loco, con la possibilità di camere comunicanti per mezzo di una porta che si può chiudere a chiave. Tutto estremamente pulito e letto comodo anche se piccolino per due... ma viaggiavo sola e ne avevo a disposizione un altro singolo. La proprietaria è stata davvero gentile e premurosa, anche se purtroppo non amo molto abbracci e carezze da estranei, ma fa parte del mio carattere. La piscina, per me che amo il sole, è veramente il fiore all'occhiello della struttura, esposta in modo che fino al tramonto è illuminata e si può restare fino a tardi. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è comunque OTTIMO!

La strada per arrivarci non è proprio una bellezza, anche se la posizione è meno peggio di quanto mi aspettassi, per arrivare alla zona con diversi negozi e ristoranti occorrono cinque minuti (in discesa) di camminata, una mezz'oretta per arrivare a Makrigialos, tutto il percorso è ottimamente illuminato e sicuro. Il parcheggio c'è, ma a struttura piena bisogna fare molta attenzione con le manovre. Il bagno, nonostante sia dotato di finestra, è microscopico e non proporzionato alla stanza, per fare la doccia si allaga tutto, incluso il water. Attenzione a chi ha problemi motori perché alcune stanze (inclusa la mia) ha una ripida scala per accedere, non ho apprezzato la scarsa illuminazione per accedere alla camera, ma forse c'era un interruttore che non ho visto, un crepuscolare non sarebbe male.

Tout était parfait, chambre très propre, la piscine également. Proche du centre et de la plage, 5mn à pied. Et l'accueil au top : gentillesse, humour, petites attentions, tout y était.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage für uns gehabt, etwas abseits des Zentrums, welches zu Fuß schnell erreicht war. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet (kein Luxus) aber schön landestypisch. Das Bett war äußerst bequem für ein Appartement in der Preiskategorie. Der Pool war ausreichend groß und es gab mehr als ausreichend Sonnenliegen. Aber das größte Highlight der Unterkunft war Despina, die Inhaberin. Sie verkörpert absolut die griechische Gastfreundschaft und ist wie eine Mama zu einem. Zudem hat sie ausgiebig dafür gesorgt, dass man genug Vitamine zu sich nimmt, durch ihre fantastischen Äpfel und Weintrauben.❤️

Es gibt nichts negatives für uns zu berichten.

Nice little apartments just a short stroll from the main hub of Makry Gialos. Very clean, spacious, excellent air conditioning and a beautiful lady (Despina I think?) who looked after us and gave us some wonderful home grown organic produce (grapes, apples, pomegranate). Not to mention the raki & delicious cake! We had a really lovely couple if days here ❤️

Jeżeli chcesz uciec od zgiełku, to właśnie tutaj. Super lokalizacja, na wzgórzu w odległości spaceru od plaży i sklepów. Do tego przemiła pani właścicielka.

Das Appartement war zu 100% authentisch und den Preis auf jeden Fall wert. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Despina begrüßt, mit Kuchen, Raki und Mengen von Weintrauben. Wir haben selten einen so fröhlichen und absolut authentischen Menschen auf Kreta kennengelernt . Selbst zum Abschied hat sie uns noch schnell Kuchen für die Fahrt eingepackt. Beim aus checken haben wir noch ihren Sohn kennenlernen dürfen. Auch er ist ein absolut herzlicher Mensch.

Überaus netter Empfang! Sehr geräumiges Zimmer, großes, bequemes Bett, großer Balkon, Blick aufs Meer. Tägliche Reinigung der Zimmer. Ruhige Lage. Pool in der Sonne. Tolle Lage, alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir würden gern wiederkommen.

Peut-être améliorer les indications pour trouver l'hôtel, le GPS nous amenait à un autre hôtel. Hélios hôtel est juste indiqué par une petite pancarte.

Très bien accueilli par le personnel de l'établissement. Ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous durant nos deux jours passés chez eux . Petite attention d'arrivée avec des petits gâteaux maison et le fameux raki. L'appartement est très bien et plutôt bien équipé . Il propose un petit déjeuner buffet à un hôtel à 3min à pied qui est excellent et pour 10 euros seulement par personne. Vraiment je recommande

Juste il est précisé sur booking que l'établissement posséde une machine à laver et à notre grande surprise nous avons du payer 5 euros par machine à laver.

Emplacement à 4 minutes de la plage. Très bel appartement, une cuisine avec beaucoup d'équipements. Accueil chaleureux. Piscine vue mer extrêmement propre.

Сподобався номер, все як на фото , господарі чудові , завжди на зв'язку і вирішують питання, якщо це в їх можливостях , зручно, що біля басейну є туалет і душ , бассейн чистий , глибокий і просторий, зміна рушників була декілька разів за наш відпочинок і зміна постільної білизни. Сподобався пляж і види на гори, море чудове. Треба до апартаментів підніматись на пригорочок. Макріялос невеличке село , розваг не багато , тут тихий відпочинок. Є автобусні зупинки і автобусне сполучення з Ієрапетрою , Сітією , ми не їздили, брали авто на прокат.
