Visit Undredal

Our stay at Visit Undredal was absolutely unforgettable. We spent five days and four nights here, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Norway. The location is simply breathtaking. Lying back and looking out at the fjord, you almost feel like you’re on your own private ship floating on the water. The silence, privacy and incredible views make it the perfect place to disconnect and completely recharge. The sauna was one of our favorite parts of the stay — especially going straight from the sauna into the icy fjord! Such an incredible experience. Everything was beautifully equipped and very comfortable, and the instructions from the hosts were exceptionally clear and easy to follow. Everything was smooth and straightforward from start to finish. We also loved exploring Undredal and kayaking on the fjord. It was the perfect combination of relaxation, nature and a little adventure. One small suggestion would be to consider replacing the current coffee maker with a capsule machine. We tried several times to make coffee with the one provided, but unfortunately never quite managed to get it right. 😊 Other than that, everything was absolutely fantastic. We left feeling completely refreshed and recharged. Thank you for such a wonderful experience — 100 out of 10! We would love to come back! ❤️

This is the best accommodation that we've experienced in our trip to Norway. It is located in a small beautiful village on the Fjord. The cabin is spacious and generously equipped. The view of the Fjord through the panoramic windows in the living room is amazing.

Lovely apartment. Well furnished and equipped. Only about 15-20 min from Flam .We walked to the Undredal Cafe which we enjoyed. Undredal was our favorite small town that we visited in Norway.

Well maintained property, with a nice view and charming atmosphere. Away from touristic Flåm, hence away from the crowds and cruises.

Very comfortable nice stay in charmful village. The appartment was spacy, with sauna, nice view. Comfortable beds. Kitchen with necessary equipment. Free parking by the house. It was not cheep, but very nice convenient stay. Even in the small village you can find different activities.

A fantastic location right on the fjord overlooking the water and mountains in the very picturesque town of Undredal. The apartment was clean and spacious with a nice kitchen and a beautiful covered deck, large living room with large windows to see the views. Washer and dryer were a nice plus. Parking was easy right out front. Short walk to the town of Undredal with a small grocery story and restaurant. Close too are hiking trials and the little stave church. Great stay and would recommend staying here rather in the tourist heavy towns nearby, ie. Fläm.

The bathroom may need some upgrades and some extra luggage racks would have been nice to have. Pretty minor overall.

Wow, wow, wow! No hotel comes close to the feeling and excitement you experience in this place. For a moment, you truly feel like you live on the fjord, not like a tourist. Everything is spotless, well organized, and spacious. I usually stay in hotels too, but the feeling I got here in the middle of my Norway trip was worth everything. Enjoy every moment!

Lokalizacja, widok! Apartament czysty, bardzo dobrze wyposażony, poczynając od kuchni (włącznie ze świeżo mieloną kawą i filtrami do ekspresu, herbatą etc.). Chociaż nie korzystaliśmy, to zawsze doceniam kapsułki/ proszek do prania, środki czystości, kapsułki do zmywarki oraz ręczniki jednorazowe, ścierkę- było wszystko.

Bardzo intensywny zapach, jakby palonego plastiku, po włączeniu zmywarki, wykluczył jej użycie przez cały pobyt. Wysłaliśmy informację do właściciela.

The dryer vents right back into the bathroom which makes the apartment humid and the drying is not super effective.

Breathtaking view, charming location, and cozy apartment. I could spend all day taking in the view from the patio and couches.

Penso che sia il posto più bello dove abbia mai dormito. La casa ha una vista mozzafiato che fa diventare magico il posto. La zona giorno è molto ben arredata, confortevole e abitabile. Ottima la camera matrimoniale ( un po' più piccola la camera con i letti singoli). Bagno spazioso e comodo. Bellissimo poter fare una sauna calda la sera dopo il " freddo" del fiordo. Ottima la cucina dotato di tutto quello che serve. Ottima anche la lava/asciuga ( in dotazione c'era anche il detersivo per il bucato)

We really enjoyed the location on the Fjord. Our house was exceptionally cozy, comfortable, and spacious. It is very well located both in the town, and reasonably close to most attractions by car. The kitchen was well equipped, and we generally were left wanting for nothing.

We absolutely loved Undredal and this home exceeded our expectations. The view and location were amazing and the quick stroll to the restaurant in town was convenient. We enjoyed the sauna and the extra half bath. We also enjoyed the hike from town straight up to a summer farm with views of the fjords.

Wonderful location. The apartment has everything one may need. It could benefit from a bit of a refurbishment, but it was clean and, honestly, the view from the windows and the surroundings made it a 10/10 stay. Would stay again definitely.

There was nothing not to like. The best view I have even experienced from a lounge seat. Just wow wow wow. Didn't want to leave.

Eigenlijk was alles heel goed echter voor anderen je moet in principe wel een auto hebben.

The whole place is amazing. The view is better than the pictures, you can see all around from every window. I've just sat and admired the view for a long time. I loved the way that the owners thought about every little thing- some salt, pepper and cooking oil, enough cooking utensils, glasses, spoons and forks were plentiful -not just 4 pcs so you can barely manage. There was a washing machine and a dryer- which were so nice- you don't have to bring that many clothes with you. My advice: If you come across this listing and it's free on your dates- don't look further, book it! The Viking village and Flam is close by to visit. Just a little reminder: there are 2 silver gates when you get there- first we visited the farm next door :-D. You have to drive until you can't go straight any further- that is the silver gate you have to turn right at.

Le logement était grand, propre et directement sur le fjord, la vue était incroyable. La localisation du logement permet de vraiment se déconnecter et apprécier la nature. De plus, le ferry pour une visite des fjords s'arrête dans le village ce qui a été très appréciable pour nous.

Nous n'avons jamais reçu les informations de check-in et avons dû nous mêmes appeler les propriétaires 10 minutes avant l'arrivée, le logement n'étais pas complètement prêt à notre arrivée. Nous avions réservé un logement avec sauna, et nous nous sommes rendus compte après le check-in que nous étions dans le mauvais logement. Nous avons contacté le propriétaire pour le lui signaler mais n'avons jamais eu de retour ce que nous n'avons pas trouvé correct.

Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. Parking is scary if other cars are there. It's a tight squeeze to go anywhere in Undredal though. It's a one-way road, in and out. I will never forget that view though! It was definitely worth the sketchy drive!

The hosts made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The apartment had the most beautiful view I have experienced! We loved our stay!

Amazing views and the ability to sit on the deck and take it all in with a cup of coffee in hand. We also loved being so close to the trail located at the end of the driveway.

La décoration est très basique

Au bout du bout d'Undredal, pas de vis à vis, pas un bruit, et quel bonheur de se réveiller avec le lever de soleil sur le fjord. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et la literie est confortable. L'hôte est très sympathique et très réactif. Et le soir, spectacle d'un bateau de croisière qui quitte Flam, tout illuminé, au ralenti, et que l'on entend à peine. Je conseille vivement pour des vacances reposantes.

Das wir kurzfristig über AirBnB eine andere Unterkunft gefunden haben!

Alles!!! Kurz gesagt Finger weg von dieser Unterkunft! Eigentlich müsste man 0 Sterne vergeben! Schmutzig, unhygienisch und die notwendige Renovierung hätte schon vor 10 Jahren stattfinden müssen. Begründung des Anbieter, wahlweise je nach Laune "stimmt alles nicht", "Putzfrau hat sich an der Hand verletzt", "Kommt doch bitte wieder zurück und wir putzen alles was noch schmutzig ist". Muss man noch mehr dazu sagen? Hier wird versucht die Reisenden abzuzocken, da es in der Region um Flam kaum Unterkünfte gibt. Eine miserable Unterkunft wird zu einem überhöhten Preis angeboten. Ich kann die positiven Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen, auch nicht, dass booking.com hier 3 Sterne vergibt. Wir waren 3 Wochen in Norwegen unterwegs und haben 8 Unterkünfte besucht. Diese war die teuerste und mit Abstand schlechteste Unterkunft. Wir sind Abends in der Unterkunft angekommen und haben erst einmal versucht eine Verunreinigungen zu beseitigen, sind dann aber zum Schluss gekommen, dass dies nicht sein kann. Wir haben uns dann über AirBnB in Laerdal eine andere Unterkunft gesucht und sind am nächsten Morgen abgereist. Ach ja, booking.com lässt einen hier absolut im Stich und versucht einen bei der Beschwerde hin zu halten. Absolut keine Unterstützung von booking.com. Wir hängen auch noch ein paar Bilder an (nur eine kleine Auswahl ... )!

De prachtige ligging, aan de rand van het leuke dorpje, direct aan de prachtige fjord. En de mooie veranda aan de zijkant van het huis met geweldig uitzicht.

De inrichting van het huis was praktisch, alles was aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, wel wat eenvoudig uitgevoerd.

The view of the Fjord is excellent. We had apt. #3, where the living room was nicely renovated all other rooms were pretty dated.

The floor squeaks ( and we needed to leave early - so hopefully we did not wake someone up in the apt. below us) and the bedroom’s door was not possible to open silently. The Kitchen was not very clean and poorly equipped. Therefore it was way to expensive.
