Love the location, close to train and good food options

Our room, the lobby, the entertainment area. Train station, food, and bars within walking distance. Everything was laid out perfectly. Police station, and post office within a couple blocks. Jazz night on Saturday.

Not having cameras in the hallway.

Bartenders was training a new bartender, in front of my wife and I told the new bartenders that she first really follow the recipe on cocktails and he shouldn’t have to worry about it either We made the front desk aware there was a broken glass in our room. We were going to dinner and asked if they could send house keeping , the glass was never removed.

No parking, lack of maintenance, AC unit didn’t work.

It was. Ice to be so close to the art center for a concert. The staff was extremely kind and very pleasant.

This was our second time staying at this location! We enjoyed our stay and this location qill be our go to when we travel to NJ! Our only complaint was that the AC system is a bit nosey when it turns on! It definitely will wake you up out your sleep!

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly.

It was very noisy! Some carpet and drapes in the rooms would go a long way to help with noise. We did have to complain to the front desk about the room next us. It was addressed quickly and we were able to go sleep.

I do not recommend this hotel at all!

You have to park in a parking garage and carry all ypu luggage from there. The parking garage is at $14 per night. The hotel does not wave this fee. Thr beds were hard and uncomfortable which made it hard to sleep. The refrigerator was not working and thr bathroom unclean. Not even sure if they had housekeeping.

Great location, although if you have a car you'll have to pay for parking space.

Wifi connection was weak and the TV didn't give you the option to connect your Netflix or other streaming account.

John and Tee were a great as I checked in close to closing time. They took care of me and I had the best burger I have had anywhere in NJ. Fabulous experience, highly recommend.

The cleanliness and the stuff is very helpful

Some of my sheets had some old stains that looked like permanent marks, the flavour used for the lotions, shower gels, etc was not great, they can improve on that.

I didn't like the sound of the water running down between the walls.

Friendly front desk staff. Upgrade room. Nice bar with good food. Our room was not noisy. Barely heard the trains. Will definitely stay again

Excellent location. Easy and inexpensive parking. There is a lounge and bar, also a rooftop bar, and restaurant right on the premises. The hotel is in an area with plenty of other restaurants in walking distance, the NJ transit system is directly across the street from the front of the hotel. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. On the weekend they have a Jazz night open to all. This is a great boutique hotel and is exceptional for the price. I highly recommend it.

unpleasant check in, condescending/patronizing staff towards myself. the rooms are nice however I can hear other guests. some hotel employees hate their jobs and their life and they reflects in how they treat guests. Fortunately their employment is disposable.

I had a decent nigh sleep.

Upon arrival the bar was playing loud music that made the check-in difficult. The room I reserved was not available. We could not find the hotel packing lot, nor when we arrived did the front desk ask us if we did. Coffee was not ready in the lobby until 7:30?? Most like would not return.

The staff is amazing ! Very welcoming and accommodating . The bar was a nice atmosphere. great drink options and the food was delicious . We also enjoyed the jazz performers.

The lack of parking is really bad. The side third-party helps, but if you are in a big car, they have 6” limitation and you cannot park.

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the Hilton portfolio when I visit a particular area. Being a resident of New Jersey, staying in this area is important to me when I don't wish to drive home after dark. A rarity, but I had stayed at the Watt once before for a similar reason. One cannot beat its proximity to a train station, which is the way I usually travel. Coming home from a much longer trip on Amtrak to Metropark, I was able to leave my car where it was, hop up one station on NJT to Rahway to get to this hotel. As I always do, via the Hilton app I checked in and chose my room the day before arrival. That worked well, and I appreciated the Diamond upgrade. Upon arrival I did stop at the desk to obtain a plastic key since I remembered there were extra doors to go through to get to the guest rooms. Staff at the desk was cordial and helpful. The room was huge, almost too large for my needs. But I got the impression that is was a little under-furnished... .too much empty space. I think the room could have used more furniture or something to fill in the space. The separate bedroom was equipped with its own climate control, and also a sound machine, which I had not seen before but I realized that some might be bothered by the frequent train horns. They ARE loud, but if you've travelled there by train, leave there by train, and just travelled by train for the past week, you kind of expect it. :) Another nit in the room was the lack of a desk. I had to move the dining table closer to reach an outlet in order to plug in my laptop and phone. Still had decent sleep, and in the morning I was prepared to return to Metropark and my car and head home. Overall, a nice stay in a very convenient location.

Room was very modern and clean. The young man who worked the night of the 26th and 27th was very friendly. The lady who worked the bar was fantastic. Location is right across from the train station which makes it very convenient to get into rhe city. Overall good experience.

Our room was on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately there is a dog club/daycare directly next door. The dogs begin barking very early in the morning, which is outside of the hotels control. Security door was a little hard to pull but again there was not anything that would keep me from coming back.

It’s in a good location. Near several restaurants and the train station.

The parking is not included or discounted. You have to pay every time you enter the lot. The parking deck is not connected to the hotel via the elevator.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It gives off vibes that it’s high end, but has many aspects feeling cheap. For example, the lobby looks grand, but you exit the elevators on your floor and you’re in a dingy lobby that needs your key card to exit into the room hallway. The room looked nice, but the fixture next to the bed didn’t turn on (lamp nor power outlet); and the bathroom fixtures were all scratched and cheap looking. I experienced rude difficult customer service at check in at 11pm (you’d think they’d have nothing better to do but provide good kind service), but then I had good customer service at checkout. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom clean too. The hallway felt very much like a dorm room hallway, it was very peculiar. They didn’t provide any welcome amenity for Hilton: neither points nor food and bev credit.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Ray did a great job with our big group! We came down at multiple times and he made it smooth. Would definitely recommend coming back again!

We have been staying at the Watt this weekend for a family wedding and about 20 of us wandered in and out in the lounge for breakfast on Sunday morning. Ray was a patient, gracious host for us, coming back and forth as people wandered in throughout the morning, giving us a chance to fuel up for our trips home and say our goodbyes. We had a great stay at the Watt and Ray was the icing on the cake. I also heartily recommend saying hi to Karlique at the from desk. He’ll greet you at check-in with a beaming smile and he’s always cheerful and helpful any time you need something at the hotel or info about the neighborhood.

Staff and hotel were nice, and it was well priced, but my room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. Quite a few restaurants close by.

Love how close this is to the train station, and the hotel is very nice.

hotel doesn’t come with parking, you have to park at a near by parking garage which you have to pay for every time you leave the garage. that definitely brought the rating down tremendously

La habitación no tenía luz eran solo unas lámparas muy pequeñas y una más grande a un lado de la habitación, y la persona de limpieza estaba tocando la puerta de la habitación a las 8:30am aproximadamente yo estaba durmiendo so no me di cuenta que el chiste era en mi cuarto y la persona al no contestar abrió la puerta y me desperté y ella me preguntó que a que hora nos íbamos, yo entiendo k eso no se debe aser ya que la hora de salida es a las 11 y esta en el huésped si decide dejarla a 8, 9, o a las 11 invadir la privacidad del huésped ya es demasiada falta de parte del personal más cuando se supone que tiene un sistema que les dice quien está y quien abandono la propiedad

Clean room and good decor

Nice hotel, but paying for parking everyday was a bit much. No fridge or microwave in the room. Happy to see that Walmart and target was in the area.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was pretty spacious and in a convenient location for me across the street from subway station. You would think it would be a disturbance, but I had no issues.
