This place is not value for money. First, it is on a street with a couple of low-bottom casinos if you can call them that. Everyone hanging around the hotel bar looked like they had just lost all of their money at these low-bottom gambling joints. The room was fine, but not exceptionally clean. There was a ridiculously oversized chair in the room which just got in the way and was useless for sitting. Not sure how they get around charging so much, but Irun is a little tight on accommodations.

Vi lämnade detta hotell, då vi första natten fick ett urusel rum i källaren. Fram till 01:30 var det en man (vet inte om det var samma man hela natten) som gick och pratade i mob med kompisar som skulle komma dit och osv. Alltså oerhört lyhört. Ingen öppen reception, vilket behövdes på detta hotell i det området. Kändes otryggt sen börja de ”städa” ovanför oss kl 05:50 och dra runt stolar på golvet (vårt tak)Kvarteret var inte trevligt. För högt pris i förhållande till allt. Vi fick inte en euro tillbaka på bokningen, vilket också stod när man bokade. Men dåligt om vi åtminstone fått tillbaka hälften.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Super Lage, um den Camino zu starten und das Restaurant bzw. die Bar unten im Hause ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm.
Alles ein bisschen klein und ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber im Großen und Ganzen passt es. Wofür das Hotel natürlich nicht verantwortlich ist, was aber nicht gänzlich unerwähnt bleiben kann: es ist auch bis später in die Nacht relativ laut, weil unten auf der Straße durchaus lang "gefeiert" wird, was sicherlich mit der nahen Grenze zu Frankreich und dem Gefälle bei den Alkoholpreisen zu tun haben dürfte.

Una habitación para tres es imposible en el 303. La otra habitación que era la 203 estaba mejor para 3 personas, un poquito más amplia entre camas. Menos mal que solo era para una noche y cuidado con dejar ventana abierta porque el ruido de trenes se cuela en la habitación

Aufgrund des Hinweis vom Hotel haben wir ab 18:00 Uhr kostenlos direkt gegenüber des Hotel im öffentlichen Verkehrsarm bis 9:00 Uhr geparkt. Reviewed Jul 15, 2026J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'accueil chaleureux ainsi que la possibilité de bénéficier d'un départ tardif à 14 h, un service très appréciable. La chambre était spacieuse, impeccablement propre et disposait même d'un balcon. La climatisation a également été un véritable plus en cette période de fortes chaleurs. J'y ai passé une excellente nuit. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, à quelques minutes de la gare d'Hendaye, ce qui est très pratique lorsque l'on arrive en train. Enfin, une agréable passerelle longeant le cours d'eau permet de rejoindre l'océan à pied. La promenade est magnifique et mérite vraiment le détour.
Le seul petit bémol concerne le bruit des trains qui passent à proximité et l'absence de commerce alimentaire à quelques pas de l'hôtel. Il faut marcher un peu pour faire quelques courses… mais on ne peut pas tout avoir ! ;)

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Hotel jsme využili pouze na jednu noc během cesty a pro tento účel byl naprosto vyhovující. Poloha hotelu byla praktická a celý pobyt proběhl bez komplikací. Cestoval jsem na motocyklu, proto pro mě bylo důležité bezpečné parkování. V okolí hotelu bylo možné parkovat zdarma na ulici, já jsem však využil hlídané podzemní parkoviště vzdálené přibližně 300 metrů od hotelu, což mi poskytlo větší klid. Personál byl příjemný a ochotný. Pokoj sice nebyl příliš prostorný, ale plně odpovídal rezervaci a na jednu noc pro dvě osoby byl naprosto dostačující. Oceňuji čistotu pokoje i koupelny a celkově dobrý stav vybavení. Pro krátkodobé přenocování mohu hotel bez váhání doporučit.
Jedinou nevýhodou byla blízkost vlakového nádraží. Při otevřeném okně byl slyšet provoz vlaků, při zavřeném okně však bylo v pokoji dostatečné ticho.

The gentleman who checked me in at the desk was extremely nice and helpful, and the lady in the cafe was very accommodating to me when I had to leave early the next morning (to walk to San Sebastián!) and provided me with breakfast. The room and the bathroom were also great. Some noise coming from my neighbors (fellow guests in nearby rooms) but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Over all very pleased and I would highly recommend it to any fellow pilgrims doing the Camino!

No es que sea caro, pero por lo ofrecido me parece bastante dinero. Una habitación pequeña, parece de juguete, con un armario tipo Ikea, con una recepción pequeña, parece más un hostal pequeño, cierto que no deja de ser un hotel de una estrella, pero el precio no se corresponde con su categoría. En cuanto a la publicidad decir que no tiene parking privado como dice en su publicidad, también dice parking vigilado, cosa que no existe, aparcas en la calle, como cualquier usuario de un vehículo a motor y pagas la hora. Dicho todo, también diré que yo volvere, está muy cerca de FICOBA, casi pegado y la calidad, como ya dije, y para lo que yo necesito suficiente, está limpio y tranquilo.

Reviewed May 23, 2026Ubicación excelente al lado de la estación del tren que lleva a San Sebastian. 10 minutos a pie de Irun Centro y de Hendaie. El trato del personal 10 puntos, desde las señoritas de recepcion hasta las de cafetería que nos dieron agua caliente para el mate a la mañana con una sonrisa. Aire acondicionado funciona bien. En la habitación hay una mesa en la que confieso que hemos desayunado y cenado. Lo recomiendo.

Reviewed May 22, 2026Hotel Aitana ligt op loopafstand van het treinstation van Handaye. En als je iets langer loopt ben je in Irun centrum. Dat maakt dit hotel een goede keuze op doorreis.
Op de kamer was het erg warm. De airco leek niet te functioneren. Gelukkig kon de deur naar het balkon open voor frisse lucht.

Le chemin piéton le long du fleuve qui permet de rejoindre gare d IRUN à 30-40 minutes et le pont qui permet de rejoindre la gare de HENDAYE a 10-15 minutes. Le prix assez cher mais correct pour une région touristique , au vu de la prestation.

Trop bruyant : bruits à l'intérieur (l'impression que quelqu'un prend sa douche dans votre chambre) et de l'extérieur (discussions des clients attablés juste en dessous de notre fenêtre)
