Extraordinaire séjour dans ce lieu paradisiaque. Nous sommes du Maroc et jamais nous n’avons trouvé un établissement aussi spectaculaire que celui-ci. Le lieu a du charme et toutes ses plantes vous plongent dans un univers où on déconnecte totalement. La propriétaire Florence est d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours le mot gentil et le sourire. Un service au top, nourriture excellente, personnel au top, literie très agréable et propreté impeccable. C’est entretenu et vous serez aux petits soins :) C’est un 150/10! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et bravo encore.

Le dépaysement à quelques minutes de la jolie ville de Taroudant

Nous avons tout aimé. Même les enfants de 10 ans. Ce lieu est exceptionnel. Les employés sont bienveillants. La cuisine est très bonne. L’établissement, ses lodges et son jardin sont magnifiques. Si j’avais vraiment une seule suggestion ça serait de mettre des boules de pétanque différenciées pour jouer à 4.

Dar al Hassoun was just beautiful. We stayed for 4 days at the end of family holiday to discover Morocco. We made the most of the beautiful grounds and the spa, sunbathing and swimming. The hotel organised a trip to discover Taroudant and the souk which we enjoyed. The food was fantastic; a delicious mix of European and traditional Moroccan dishes. On our last night we loved the lamb shoulder tajine - order the day before as it’s well worth it.

Nature, pool, room. The place is magical. The garden is magnificent.

The food was a bit overpriced and underwhelming. We expected better for such a beautiful place.

Dar Al Hossoun is quite simply an En-Gedi oasis in the desert. From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we had stepped into another world, with several beautiful peacocks wandering gracefully around the grounds, adding even more charm and magic to this extraordinary place. The pools and surrounding botanical gardens are absolutely out of this world—a paradise of palms, flowers and hidden corners, that somehow feels both luxurious and completely tranquil. The food deserves special mention too. We had both lunch and dinner in the restaurant and every meal was exceptional; beautifully prepared, full of flavour and served in a wonderfully relaxing setting. Breakfast beside the pool each morning was equally perfect and a wonderful way to start the day. What really makes Dar Al Hossoun so special, though, is the people. Every single member of staff is incredibly polite, warm and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble and there never seems to be anything that isn't possible. Their hospitality is genuinely outstanding. We visited in July when temperatures reached 43°C, yet we hardly noticed. A combination of dipping in and out of the pools, the wonderfully cool air conditioning in both the room and restaurant, and the abundance of shaded areas made it remarkably comfortable—even for two visitors from cold England! Our room was fantastic, centred around a beautiful open courtyard enclosed by glass, complete with a tree growing in the middle and an outdoor shower that made the whole experience feel incredibly special and unique. I could go on and on, but to put it simply, I cannot recommend Dar Al Hossoun highly enough. On every level—setting, food, comfort and hospitality—it is truly exceptional. We left feeling completely relaxed and already talking about when we can return.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était à la hauteur de nos attentes : le cadre, la vue et la qualité des plats étaient incroyables. Nous avons réservé une rfissa absolument délicieuse et copieuse. Nous avons également eu la chance de rencontrer la propriétaire, d’une grande gentillesse et délicatesse française.

Seuls les cocktails ne nous ont pas convaincus.

Wahnsinnig schöne Unterkunft. Die Gartenanlage und das Zimmer sind bezaubernd. Für Tierliebhaber ein absolutes Paradies, es gibt Schildkröten, viele Vögel (Unter anderem zwei Pfaus) und viele Katzen. Die zwei Pools laden zur Entspannung ein. Auch das Personal ist bemüht.

Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, dadurch, dass wir nur englisch und kein französisch sprechen, gibt es zwangsläufig geringe Sprachbarrieren. Die Speisekarte ist klein und fein, für Mittag und Abend jedoch die selbe und für Vegetarier nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Speisen sind relativ teuer, dafür, dass es wenige Ausweichmöglichkeiten außerhalb des Hotels gibt.

L’établissement se situe à proximité de la ville de Taroudant, au calme. Propose deux belles piscines, un spa avec de nombreuses offres et un restaurant délicieux ! Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins

Les ouvertures dans les chambres pour la ventilation la nuit n’a pas été bien pensé. Même si le petit déjeuner était complet il mériterait d’être amélioré dans un Riad de ce standing.

The location and gardens are superb. This boutique hotel has a very tranquil feeling to it. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Xavier and his team went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience. The spa facilities are also very good. we would definately return!

Si vous passez passez par Taroudant, impossible de ne pas séjourner quelques jours dans ce somptueux décor marocain au jardin extraordinaire. Certes les tarifs sont un peu élevés, mais ils sont parfaitement justifiés et de temps en temps il faut savoir se faire plaisir, vous ne le regretterez pas et vous en souviendrez longtemps. L'accueil est parfait, les suites exceptionnelles, avec de magnifiques terrasses, une décorations sans aucune faute de goût, un restaurant de qualité, bref il aura fallu 20 ans de travail pour créer un jardin exceptionnel. Incontournable !

The property is beautiful set around a wonderful garden. We were lucky to have a suite which was honestly one of the best set of rooms we have ever stayed in- all beautiful designed and comfortable with such charm . Enchanting staff and delicious food too.

très belle expérience et dépaysement total dans ce havre de paix tout a été pensé avec beaucoup de soin très belle chambre et salle de bain donnant sur les jardins secs , feu de cheminée le soir se prélasser dans les jardins et auprès des piscines est un vrai bonheur très bons repas notamment couscous à commander la veille très belle expérience au hammam très bon accueil avec des personnes très aimables et professionnelles merci !

This hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrive the team working there could not have looked after any more. The gardens are beautiful, with peacocks, frogs, turtles and amazing cacti, flowers and plants. It was first class. The pool is an amazing 30 meter straight pool through the middle, which made for the best photographs. We had the suite at one end of the pool and it was the best room we have ever stayed in. The food was excellent, both breakfast and the dinner and the drink were really special too. A very special mention to Khalid, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as good as it was, nothing was too much trouble and he made the place extra special. We have recommend it to all our friends and hope to return someday soon.

Incredibly beautiful gardens and should he shouted about more. Stunning planting and worth travelling across continents to stay in. The staff are incredible !! So so kind and obliging and made so much effort to make us feel special including preparing a special dinner and serving us in our casita.

It really is an oasis! Very private and calm. We loved all the different areas for sitting and relaxing and the two pools were lovely. The staff were all very friendly, food was great, and we really loved our experience at the hotel. It was easy to get to and from Taroudant and the views of the Atlas Mountains were fantastic.

We booked an overnight stay the night prior to a spa day. All communication prior to our visit was prompt and clear. Staff were exceptional, location is amazing - you are close to Taroudant and other places to visit, but you also are cocooned in this little area of paradise. The gardens were beautiful; we loved the different restaurant areas and the privacy each room had. The cats were delightful, the peacocks friendly and there were bonus dogs as well. Our spa day was amazing. My friend ( a former beauty and wellbeing lecturer), says it was the best massage she has ever had. We left feeling pampered beyond our expectations and already planning how soon we can go back for a longer visit

The hotel is unique! The rooms and gardens are beautiful. The pool is devine. The staff are very helpful and friendly and have a great attention to detail. Overall, the hotel has a very peaceful vibe. When staying here it feels like a real escape / retreat from the stresses of life!

Good breakfast with Continental and Moroccan dishes. Great Hammam and beautiful setting and gardens. Special honour to meet the owner and inspiration behind this venue. Good airport transfer arranged by the hotel.

Tea pots and coffee machine would be useful but did not effect our enjoyment of a good breakfast. Better explanation of what is available from front desk staff would have made us seek out alternative ideas for outings. We will know for our next visit!

Unhappy with our experiences at the spa

The hotel is lovely, its location is a little remote but very quiet and very nice staff and gardens, food was overall good and breakfast options although not extensive was very good. The owners take a hands on approach and are very welcoming to their patrons.

We had nothing we didn’t like.

This place developed on unconventional hotel lines was a perfect peaceful oasis on the edge of the desert outside Taroudant. We were met efficiently off the plane in Agadir (extra cost) and driven smoothly to the hotel, a journey of c. 1 hour. The hotel was idyllically situated in its own landscaped ecogarden with exotic trees and other vegetations, peacocks, tortoises, innumerable cats and 2 natural pools though too cold to swim. Rooms were comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated with ethnic themes. Open olive wood fires available in rooms and main restaurant. All staff well trained, courteous and helpful. Meals and service of a uniformly high quality.

“Jardin Majorelle is a manicured garden and we are a manicured jungle” The grounds were exquisite. I wish we had more time to stay! The rooms so comfortable and the design of the property was truly enjoyable. The on site hammam was easy to book and well appointed. Our meals were great. The staff made us all feel welcome and comfortable. Can recommend!

Everything! This is a magical oasis. The setting is unbeatable- a former experimental landscape garden turned hotel with every room meticulously curated, all with local design and objects. The food is fab and the staff were unbelievably helpful.

Steps to the pool were a little steep without something to hold onto. But this only applies to older folk!

Beautiful hotel with sublime gardens. It really feels like walking into an oasis. The staff was super friendly and hotel very nicely decorated with traditional yet elevated style. Really lovely stay and probably best in Taroudant.

I cannot find the words to describe the tranquility and beauty of Dar Al Hassoun, the vegetation, birdsong, the simplicity of its design and the calming natural colours. Although not far from town, we went there to escape from the world. As as a family with a toddler, it was heaven. Walking and playing in the beautiful gardens, following mother peacock and her babies, playing with cats, dogs and watching the turtle, birds and beetles. Time slowed down. The weather did not get too sunny and hot, which is unusual for this time of year, so unfortunately the pool was a bit chilly at 21-22 degrees, still we swam and played in the breathtaking, irresistible pool. Meals are delicious, fresh and nutritious. The seafood was particularly good, we also tried the steak and tagine where the meat was so soft, and the pasta was also excellent. Our toddler was treated like a queen and the kitchen staff made her hand cut crisps, from scratch, served warm and so tasty we cant believe we only discovered it on the last day. All the staff were warm welcoming, gracious. Especilly Fawzia, Marouane are brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for Yassine and he was genuinely a star. The staff must be very valuable to them and we felt very much a home.

We loved sitting outside our room amid the exotic interconnected gardens of Dar al Hassoun, listening to the bird song and having conversations with the happy cats. At night, a full moon shining through tall cactus behind the mud walls was quite extraordinary. We had high hopes for our stay; these were met and exceeded. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The food was delicious, as were the pre-dinner drinks beside the ridiculously photogenic pool. The other smaller pool proved a quiet place to relax. Everything worked as it should - hot water for the shower, air conditioning on hot nights, blackout curtains, bedside lamps. The rooms were tastefully decorated with local crafts - there was nothing bland about the hotel.

A list of what we liked would be very long. The staff are great, the rooms, location and restaurant are first class. The garden is wonderful. We stayed 3 nights and should have stayed longer.

This hotel is really a knock-out place for a trip to see the glorious settlements of Morocco. Each room is unique and styled to the local atmosphere, and the whole place is within a lush garden setting with narrow pools, peacocks and various Morrocan artifacts and artwork. The food is high class, Morrocan gourmet cuisine. Try the beef tangine with pear for an excellent dinner. The staff is always helpful for anything you might need. The spa is nice for a good relax and treatments. We went on a tour of the city that was arranged by the hotel, which I would highly recommend. They take you on a horse drawn carriage to the walled city and lunch within the Kasbah. Great place for relaxation and discovering Morocco!

Everything was great, but bring a flyswatter and/or bug spray if you don’t like flying insects. The Wi-Fi was good in general, and works throughout the whole property, but was spotty at times.

We loved our stay! Impressive botanical garden, lovely pool, friendly staff, great food, stylish rooms and lots of spaces to relax. We are blown away by this place. The hammam and relaxing massage were really great. Highly recommended and we would have loved to stay longer. This place is really paradise!

Truly lovely, special grounds with beautiful and lush plant life, cute cats, and a gorgeous pool in middle. Architecturally very stunning and unique. Restaurant was yummy and room was very comfortable. Booking excursions and spa treatments is very easy thanks to all the property information they provided digitally upon check in. We did a half day tour of the souks and it couldn’t have been an easier or more delightfully personal way to explore the Taroudant medina and learn about this part of Morocco and its history.

Because we were there in mid / late June as the notorious Moroccan heat in this part of the country was kicking in, it would have been nice to enjoy the pool a little more — but the plant life makes it a little buggy outside and therefore it’s a little hard to fully relax next to the pool while you’re swatting at things left and right. This is not a fault of the property necessarily — part of traveling at that time of year and being in a place with so many gorgeous plants — just something to know ahead of time and bring bug spray for if lounging by their pool is a big part of your intended itinerary. Rooms are definitely authentic and give off a rustic cabin vibe, though still utterly comfortable with AC / Wi-Fi / TV / modern shower fixtures.
