Overall very lovely room 5, with wet room, outside area, parking space and shared kitchen. Great selections for self-serve continental breakfast between 6-10am.

We were very uncomfortable with the surveillance in the kitchen area and outside space, not sure who was listening/watching us.

What a great place to stay, lovely owner, spotless and very comfortable in a lovely village- great local pub within walking distance too! The breakfast was lovely in kitchen/dining room, with kitchen where you could have cooked your own food- just perfect!

The room was incredibly quiet and very comfortable, so I had a good night's sleep. As I was staying for work purposes the location was perfect. The range and selection of food at breakfast was really good. Check in and check out was very straightforward. I will definitely recommend this B&B to my colleagues who need to stay in the area over the coming weeks.

For security, as a lone traveller, a double locking mechanism for the door is necessary.

The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were so comfy. The continental breakfast was really nice and had so much to chose from. The welcome from when we arrived Couldn't fault anything. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant staff. Rooms were big, immaculate and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great with a variety to choose from. Staff could not do enough for us. Excellent value for money.

All was excellent. The host was very friendly and chatted to us. Breakfast was lovely. Help yourself fridges with various things to eat such as eggs, crumpets, various cakes, cereals, yogurts and strawberries. Bed was comfy. Lovely little seated area out the back.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, lots of choice, fresh fruit salad was delicious! The room great, lovely outlook on to fields. Parking was very secure so we could leave stuff in the car which was helpful. Ian was really welcoming and helpful. Fabulous stay!

Excellent room, friendly welcome from the hosts also an excellent location not too far from the village pub. There was a fantastic choice of a continental breakfast which was self service and you could have as much or as little you wanted

Facilities were very good, our room was great with a nice out look over the countryside. Breakfast was perfect loads to choose from. The owner was great with very good communication throughout from start of booking to staying. If were up that way again we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Had a very comfortable stay at Fir Tree barn. Room was an excellent size, clean, modern and with a large comfortable bed. Off street parking behind a secure gate and a pub a short walk down the road from the accommodation. Breakfast was self service but plenty of choice.Would definitely stay again.

Great welcome from Iain, showed me around and explained everything. Our room was very clean and comfortable, particularly liked the king size bed. The kitchen facilities were excellent, I appreciated being able to heat some food for the evening and we had a great breakfast selection before we left.

Property was great - no downsides

I was very surprised at the lack of handles to aid getting in and out of the high sided bath/shower. We didn't need a disabled access room (being reasonably agile), but being expected to grab the fixed glass shower screen did not make us feel secure!!

What a gem in Pollington, a comfortable room, a wonderful breakfast selection, they even managed at short notice to cater for my gluten and dairy intolerance, which was unexpected and truly appreciated.

Nothing at all. Would mention though that to ignore directions on Waze or Google maps as these give the wrong location, but a quick phone call to our host, advised us it was opposite the cricket pitch which made it very easy to find.

We've stayed at the Fir Tree Barn several times as it is well situated for us to visit family in the area. It was as good as it has been in the past. An exceptional place to stay. Would recommend highly.

This is my second stay at Fir Tree Barn and it was as great as I remembered it. The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is self-service and there's plenty of choice For those of you arriving by car there's secure off-road parking and if like us you arrive by bike then the owner will ensure your bikes are locked up safe and sound overnight should you need it. The property is located in a small village that has a lovely pub where we had a great tea. Close by is Snaith which is well worth a visit if just for some of the quirky historic features.

Very well thought out and planned, previously a barn the accommodation is all on the ground floor. I was lucky enough to have the room with the veranda which gave the room a good feel for extra space. The bed was to a good and firm, the bathroom was very clean with a shower over bath. The dining room/breakfast room was self serve and was equipped and spacious with a high ceiling. I don’t think I could’ve added anything to make my stay more pleasurable. Iain was good enough to allow me in my room earlier than stated as the previous guests had departed. Earley and I had a requirement that was dealt with straightaway in a very professional and polite manner. I very much recommend this Accomodation..

I stay here regularly with work. Always a warm welcome. The room + self service kitchen are perfect for my needs. The area is quite rural and super quiet. Your car is behind an electronic gate, so super secure too.

Everything was there in the breakfast/kitchen room, so help yourself. Even eggs in the fridge if you want to cook them. Everything was spotless, rooms, bathroom, kitchen. Location excellent especially as our Grandaughter only lives 10 mins away 😊.

Windows defo need to be opened as room dried out very quickly.

Always a great stay and our comeback accommodation if we can book it. Great host and great rooms. Breakfast included is always a bonus .

Fabulous safe location! Excellent shared dining/ kitchen facilities, ideal for self catering schedules. Super comfortable bedroom with desk and immaculate ensuite. The duration of my stay was a week and I felt that the guest experience was of paramount importance. Wonderful and friendly hosts - 100% Customer Service!

Friendly owner, nice and warm (it was snowing!), good shared self-catering facilities and a quiet location. Very secure too. Breakfast was just right for me, being continental-style.

Parking was a bit tight, and it would have been good to know there is a locked gate and intercom before arriving.

The location was great. It gave me the opportunity to get a good rest on my journey north. The breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice and unlimited.

The mattress was firm, but I still had a good nights sleep.

This place is extremely beautiful! So well thought out very spacious & clean! Very comfortable & peaceful, no noise at all, really great attentive host iain greeted us on arrival & showed us the kitchen area & our room & explained everything & spent time to chat with us really nice, we used the disabled room with fantastic spacious shower room we will certainly be back soon.
