I am a frequent Centre parks traveller. However, this one lacked a lot of things. I know it’s targeted more at families, however, it had nothing really for older children or adults. Not even a spa or adult friendly times. We went in the heat of July, there’s no AC, no fans in any of the local shops anywhere. We asked reception about where we could find a local shop for one and were given a rude answer and that was that. Some of the activities were affordable and the lady we had for archery was lovely, and accommodating to us speaking English. I was baffled by there not being someone watching the animal area. I saw another review comment how people overburden the animals, which I would agree seems to be our experience as well. I felt the room was overpriced, we had a small flat. Which was smallllll. I knew it was going to be squished but wasn’t expecting there to be basically no space to put any of our food because there was about 2 cupboards which had utensils all in them (which is a pro but also a con if you bring food to store). Also it was super busy in the pool area, I guess it’s expected around summer so take that as you may, but queues for all the slides. Nearly shoulder to shoulder in the pool area, not ideal. Overall, parts felt like a scam and not worth the money. If you’re a family I’d say it’s great, if you’re not I’d say spare yourself from all the pushing and shoving and screaming. What happened to having adult only swimming in the evening?! Or even having adults be allowed to do cupcake making too (I like to be creative as well)? Positives: pretty at night with all the lights, the bike hire is handy to cycle round Peer (although ensure you lock your bike away properly), archery staff were lovely.

Clean, well maintained, with very welcoming staff who made language no barrier. Our children loved every minute of their swimming, climbing, and riding. The swimming facilities were especially impressive with something for everyone (baby pool, toddler pool, wave pool, lazy river, rapids, slides, water playhouse and more...). The Baluba soft play was also huge, and kept the kids well entertained when not swimming. Activities were very reasonably priced (especially compared to UK Center Parcs) with no gouging of a captive audience. Restaurant menus were somewhat limited, with higher (but still reasonable) prices, as food was good quality with friendly service. Planning to self cater at least in part would be recommended if you want to avoid rehashing meals. Onsite supermarket was well stocked, and sold non-UHT milk for British travellers. Highly recommended by this UK traveller, despite the long travel time with children.
Just a warning to anyone currently staying at Centre Parcs Erperheide — there appears to be a bike thief operating on site. We paid €30 to hire a bike for 3 days, and it was stolen from the water park area after less than 10 minutes of use. After reporting it, we were told we had to pay £280 for the missing bike. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little CCTV coverage, and the duty manager was completely unhelpful. No real effort was made to investigate the theft — only to charge us for the bike. What’s even more frustrating is that the staff member at the bike centre never showed us how to use the lock when we collected the bike. He later admitted this to a colleague because they were so busy at the time. We’ve also since been told another bike was stolen in broad daylight yesterday, yet guests are not being made aware of this. Please be extra careful with your belongings and hired bikes while staying here. We’re extremely upset and disappointed, and honestly would never have expected something like this to happen at Centre Parcs.
Park feels unsafe, proven by the two bikes that have been stolen in the last 3 days… park security is nowhere to be seen and little help from management. One of the bikes was stolen within 1 hour and cost us €275 , no help whatsoever, they didn’t even have a concrete number for the bikes as some they said are missing I found I hired in their yard… one guy said it’s the first bike to be stolen on 3 years the manager then said it’s the 2nd this week (Thursday) so seems they are hiding the problem. The waterpark is okay, the rapids and waterpark have been closed on and off. We also had our inflatables stolen around the pool.
We travelled 2 adults and 3 kids from wales and I have to say it was well worth the journey! We have all had the best time. Children are ages 12, 9 and 6 and there has been something for everyone! (I can also see how it’s worth coming here with children even younger than ours). For younger children in the swimming pool there is a good children’s pool with slides and sand, where you can easily sit by them and watch. There is also another big water play area with slides, as well as a wave pool and outdoor pool. There is also a fantastic free indoor play area with trampolines, slides and climbing frames, and plenty of outdoor play areas, there is even a small free farm area where they can visit the goats and sheep etc. For older children there are high ropes, pedalos, water rapids etc, the snorkel pool was also a big hit! (Younger children are also allowed on the rapids if you are brave enough to take them!) Lodges are nice, I would say not as much luxury as the uk ones but I think what you lose in luxury on the lodges you gain on the overall site and there definitely seems to be more free activities available than in the uk centreparcs. The food places were great and there is an all you can eat/drink buffet option that included coffee and alcohol, which was great value for money! The outdoor seating area on the restaurant on a sunny day overlooking the lake really was fantastic. Staff here are also so accommodating and friendly, service was always great. We will be recommending and returning, thank you!
This was our first time at a Center Parcs in continental Europe and after some research we found Erperheide highly recommended for young kids. Lived up to that reputation. Cottage was well equipped and clean and even in zone 7 (as far from the Central dome as possible I think) it was only a lovely 10 minute walk to everything (plus there was a good playground right next door). Pool was huge and impressive and we did loads of activities, which we found to be reasonably priced. Everyone (including childrens entertainers) were happy to flip into English with us/our kids. Only regret is we didn't get a chance to explore the local area as there was too much to do in the park. One thing missing maybe was a nice barista coffee place/kiosk - think it would be a great addition. But perfect otherwise; would recommend and return

This was our Second stay at Erperheide but this time we stayed in a VIP cottage. Last time we stayed we visited in May in glorious sunshine so it was nice to see the site in the Autumn. I do love the way Centre parks changes with the seasons. We paid around £740 for our stay from Friday to Monday at the end of October half-term - Half of what the UK Centre Parcs costs for the same amount of time. The Cottage we stayed in was Clean and Modern and came with a Sauna and Bubble bath (which my son loved). The cottage came with two good size bedrooms - the only issue i could foresee for a family with 2 kids would be the second bedroom beds can’t be separated like they can in other cottage's we’ve stayed in. No problem for us though as our son got a massive bed all to himself :D The cottage was quiet and private. It’s just the sounds of nature and the occasional Chicken wandering around !! You get Wristbands that act as your door key , swimming pass and locker key plus use it to book all your activities. We love this system and find it works really well. During our stay we used the Aqua Mundo everyday !! We really love the way centre parcs operate their pools. The facilities are so clean and well managed !! You can swim from 10am - 9pm. If you wanted to you could swim all day or multiple times a day. The pools do get busy but you can find quieter times throughout the day. We didn’t do many activities this time around but did book bowling and table tennis. The screens to book are dotted around the site and really easy to use. If you do struggle with modern tech you can also go the reception and their more than happy to help. We ate in the Grand Cafe a few times during our stay. It is one of our favourite things about Centre Parcs EU. The Staff are super friendly and Helpful. The ones we encountered could slip quite easily between multiple languages which is super impressive and helped us a-lot when ordering. Really quick service too - didn’t take long to get drinks and food even at their busier times. The food is on the more expensive side but it’s all really tasty and of high quality. You can 100% do this holiday cheaply if you buy your shopping before you go or from one of the surrounding supermarkets. We’ve done this multiple times and it does keep the cost down so you can spend on the activities. Overall we had an amazing Holiday - which was no surprise because we always do at CentreParcs !!
I will start with the positive: very nice indoor playground, nice swimming poll, and also outdoor a lot of playgrounds and the farm was great.. but: -in the swimming pool was cold if u were out of the water u had to dry immediately nit ideal for young children -our room was dirty. The ground was dirty and the toilets -one of the bedrooms was smelling like mold -the sauna room had also a bad small! It was a pity because we had good experience in other center parcs
All on site amenities were amazing. The pools were amazing and also the animal walk in pen along with all the parks dotted around the site.

Fantastic stay with the kids. Great services and friendly personal. The home was very well equipped and the activities are so abundant that one week isn't enough to do everything.
We’ve just stayed for 10 nights with our two kids who are 4&6 and everyone had an amazing time. We’ve stayed at het meerdal in the Netherlands but we felt here had a lot more offering for the kids. There’s a huge inside play area with several soft play areas and activities, great if the weather isn’t always the best. The pool was amazing as always, slides, rapids, splash park area, a pool with fish that you can swim underwater and see through the glass. The restaurants on site are expensive except for the frites fast food place which is more reasonable but that’s to be expected at Center Parcs. We just went to jumbo in Bree about 15 mins away which is a nice supermarket. The Bruno petrol station which is walkable from Center Parcs does amazing fresh pizza and sandwiches. The activities we did were face painting (did an amazing job but is only on a Tues and they also got a free toy too) trampolining, pony rides. The kids did cupcake making in the kids club which was really reasonably priced. The kids club has role play areas that the kids can play with after they’ve finished their activity and the mums and dads are welcome to coffee and tea. We also did tiara making there too. Days out we went to an outdoor swimming pool called Wilhelm Tell Zwembad which was amazing! But be warned you’re not allowed to wear swimwear with sleeves. We went to toverland theme park about an hour away. It’s fab and always really quiet later on in the year, you could literally sit on the ride to go again. There’s not much to do in peer which your able to cycle to, we cycled to bree as well and had amazing ice cream at omas lj’s. I’d definitely go back. I do think the cottages and site is maybe older than other center parcs but it catered for everything we needed.
De omgeving, en een geweldige locatie om Limburg te verkennen. Erperheide heeft veel mogelijkheden en vriendelijk personeel. Winkel is heel uitgebreid gamma.

We've been to a few CPs in Europe over the years, and this one was ok, but not the best. Positives: *Aqua Mundo is clean and good fun. This is a small one compared to others though, with only a couple of slides, a Crazy River and some smaller pools. *Good range of activities around the site - the animal area was lovely (but give 'treasure river' a miss, it's about 5 seconds of fun for €5🤣). *Soft play is actually really good - different zones and lots of space, so although it was busy, it didn't feel overcrowded. *Due to its small size, it's an easy CP to get around on foot. *Staff were friendly and helpful. Negatives: *The accommodation is pretty dirty, considering how much it cost. Although most surfaces were clean, the floor was filthy, and there was no mop provided to clean it with. There was lots of dirt and dust under chairs, radiators and beds etc, and it could really have done with a deep clean. *Limited provisions - in this case, no bedding or towels (apparently, it's common in some European CPs to have to bring your own bedding or rent it which is fine if you know this - but it's €75 for the week if you dont). There's also no bath mat, which is such a petty but annoying point. Also, when you rent the bedding and towels you forgot to bring, it's all wrapped in individual plastic bags, so not very environmentally friendly! *Showers are slow to drain and blooming lethal - bring an anti slip mat if you have kids. *Food onsite is poor quality and very overpriced. *Shop is similarly overpriced (and overpriced compared to other European CPs we've visited) - €8 for a bottle of conditioner!

Die verwinkelten Zugänge zu de Ferienwohnungen
Nice for the facilities and for kids. Only negative point the price of the food, restaurants, cafe and the poor quality of those. A bit pricey for the added activities than are very cool for kids (poney club, kids safari,.. renting a golf car is 100€ a day that’s more expensive than renting a normal car for 3 days…) staff kind and helpful
This is our second visit to Erperheide and we love the facilities (especially Baluba) but this time the stay has been massively let down by the drastic drop in pool temperatures. Last time the pools were so lovely and warm i remember the outdoor pool was steaming- this time the temperature is just marginally above what you’d expect in an adult (Olympic) swimming pool which really isn’t great with young children. Sadly unless the temperatures are changed back to the warmer ones, we will not be visiting again. I also feel that a warning should be added at booking about the pool temperature change as we would have chosen a different Centerparcs location, had we known. Also premium cottages don’t include towels (€50 extra for a family of 5) and not even a bath mat, so the floor is dangerously slippery after showers. No mop in the cottages to clean it up either.
Great stay with family. Lots of options for younger kids and older kids. The staff were absolutely amazing, very attentive and always happy to help. There seemed to be something to do in all weather conditions. Everything in terms of activities was priced at a decent price. The swimming pool area was amazing and my family had the best time ever.. we were definitely return
Unfortunately, they did not agree to cancel the reservation or even change the dates, even though the reason was so justified, war and no flights, I will never book through them. See, you have been warned. I hope that they will help me but they destroy my vacation .
I tend to be critical about places I visit but this center parc is simply impeccable. Aqua mundo was the favourite spot for the kids. Meanwhile there are lot of other activities for the kids. Accomodation is cosy and clean, customer service is very helpful and friendly.
The territory was great, lots of activities to do with kids. We came for the water park and being able to enjoy a warm pool in the winter, and were able to enjoy it fully. My son also liked the pony ride and the playgrounds.
I was a bit shocked to not find any toiletries in the bathroom, even the basic ones, like hand soap (let along shower gel and shampoo). And only 1 roll of toilet paper. Also, after a long ride it would have been nice to come to made beds and not do them ourselves.
Leider ist nichts hier auf Deutsch, deswegen überall 5 Sterne. Nur die Preise in den Restaurants total überzogen
Been before and it was good but I tried to book and they now have a call centre, you can’t call the place directly for information. When looking at the prices over several weeks, it just kept going up and up, yet we’re close to the arrival date, so it should be the opposite! Was told glibly on the phone that it’s because I’ve looked at the online site so many times! The system picks up on “the number of clicks” and the price can change from one day to the next and depending on the time of day! So it just keeps going up! In the space of 10 days there’s been an increase of nearly €100! Well, you’re not getting my business with that attitude!
Parfait pour un long week-end avec les enfants
Preise vor Ort zu hoch
If you are looking for a nice getaway, this is definetely one of the places to do it. The accomodation we had was great! We had everything we could want at our disposal, the beds were confortable, cleanliness spot on. The quality of our apartment met and surpassed our expectations. The park in itself is very well organized, you have lots of things to do to choose from. For us it was a nice oasis of relaxation and quietness and we also had a lot of fun during our stay. Definetely worth a visit!
The prices in the restaurants were a little to high.
The location and the facilities
The distance between the houses and the parking
prima huisje, zeker voor ons doel. Zwembad leuk.
We really did have an amazing time! We would absolutely return and pay for more activities. It’s really opened our eyes to this sort of environment when we usually stay in hotels. So before I continue I would highly recommend this place. The Europe ones are so so much cheaper than the uk ones so it’s amazing value for money. We thoroughly loved the Baluba and aquamundo (could have been a bit warmer one some days though)! So much to do for my young daughter it was honestly incredible! We could easily have spent our week there alone! My only niggles would be to do with cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance. I don’t expect everything to spotless when we only paid £500 for the week but I do expect basics things like a kitchen towel, bath matt, soap and bin bags! The garden maintenance was shocking and my daughter couldn’t play outside in the garden once because it was so bad. The bedrooms were rather dirty (walls, corners ect). The rest of the cottage was fine though. The farm experience/farm animals (we did the free one) was shockingly bad. It was literally a bunch of animals shoved together in the middle of some sandy banks. The animals don’t look well looked after at all and I don’t really think it’s fair on them to be constantly poked and prodded and looked at. My young daughter loved looking at them and stroking tbem but I just felt sad for them frankly. We didn’t do anything else except for drive around the country and visit the cities. We did have a disabled pass so being able to have the car nearby was a massive bonus and my other half really struggles with a lot of walking, however this place did encourage to do more so it was great! The weather was a lot colder than anticipated so the heating was welcome. Not sure how we old have coped in the heat mind as the heat does not escape well at all from cottage. However we did absolutely love our stay and really can’t wait to come back and try out more
Big park close to Genk in Belgium, part of a multisite operation. It has hundreds of cottages and bungalows, accomodating from 2 upwards. As in all these places lots must be accommodated on his/her own (bathroom facilities for example) or bought /booked in advance. They have sports facilities, little lakes, space for kids, a central restaurant and market.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our week here- the park is clean, varied and full of surprises. The staff are helpful and all speak English which is really useful! When you drive in, it feels huge and I couldn’t see how we’d walk from our cottage to the main areas with young children but you get used to the small little paths and everywhere is accessible in just a few minutes’ walk. Highlights: - Aqua Mundo is a big hit with the kids. It is huge, clean and full of fun little pools for all ages. The changing rooms are separated into pre and post swim which keeps you clean and stress free! - There are lots of free things to do ass you walk around the park that use up pockets of spare time. - Baluba, the soft play centre, is great and entertains the children for ages. - Lots of activities to do for all ages. Make sure you book in advance! Family quiz night and the live entertainment was good fun and they interpret into Dutch, English and French! - It’s an easy crossing over to The Netherlands- around a 40min drive- and a great day out. We went to Eindhoven and saw the PSV stadium and then into the town for lunch. Things I’d do differently next time: - Pack fewer ‘dressy’ night time clothes. Everyone is very relaxed in the evening. - Pack more towels. The towel package isn’t great and just gives you a big towel and a hand towel. Not enough for me with thick long hair! They’re also quite thin. Luckily I packed a bath mat so didn’t need to ‘waste’ a towel on that. - Pack pillows! The pillows here are not very comfy. - Get more food in advance from the Aldi down the road. The food in the cafe(s) is very nice but costly and the shop is also expensive. If you can do a few nights of dinner at the cottage, it’s worth it. With no oven, it does require a good bit of pre planning though. - Take slippers! The cottage floors get a bit grubby (which is understandable considering you’re trekking around in sand and mud) but I had to constantly wear flip flops because I couldn’t bear the dirt on my feet! - Take clothes hangers. You only get 4 per room. - Pack fewer clothes (more towel and pillow space!) and use the laundrette instead. I used it on day 4 and it’s super easy- just drop off the clothes, they weigh it and charge €5 per kilo then it’s ready for pick up a few hours later (dried too). - Pack an air freshener for the small, unventilated toilet… you know what I’m saying! Good to know: - If travelling from the UK, it’s well worth a stop off in Ghent. The city is beautiful and easy to navigate. Saying that, don’t drive into the centre unless you’ve preregistered your car as you’ll be fined (we found this out the hard way 😭) - Aldi and Lidl both close by to Erperheide - Cash not really needed… everything payable by card. - We did a day trip to Peer and Bree but everything was shut! We went on a Saturday afternoon and suspect it would have been a lot more vibrant if we’d gone in the PM. Was a bit of a wasted afternoon with the exception of a visit to Leonidas (chocolate shop). - If the cafe staff ask if you want sauce, they charge over a euro on top. We took a bunch of McDonalds salt and sauces with us!! - Take toilet roll and dishwasher tabs. You only get 1 loo roll and we didn’t even get 1 dishwasher tab. - The activities are all bookable on the website or via reception. They don’t show chronologically on your CP account so a paper calendar version is very helpful to keep track of all you’ve got planned. - Bedroom lights have USB ports so no need to pack full phone plug-chargers. - The mirror in the bathroom is massive but useless once anyone has had a shower. And there’s no other mirror except a tiny one on the front door. Take one with you!! Enjoy!
Just arrived and honestly, not impressed. Accomodation standard is about as basic as it gets. Sheets marked and ripped, towels so thin you could spit through them, no closed storage for food, pot handle nearly came off with boiling water in, husband had to fix to make safe, area where loungers are placed, grass is up to the lounger and clearly hasn't been cut in a while, paths to accomodation in poor repair. Honestly not at all what you'd expect from centerparcs brand. Feels tired and old and in serious need of some care to bring up to centerparcs brand expectations. They're trading on the name. Not tried activities or main entertainment hub yet so we'll see how that goes but honestly, at this rate, wish we hadn't bothered.
I liked the scenery, but most of all, you had a lot of playgrounds for children and activities! thank you!
Fijne week gehad. Huisje was op het oog heel schoon maar toch als je goed kijk is het op sommige plekken vies en niet goed onderhouden.
Simple but catered for all our needs
Pillows not great
It was realy crowded and because of this pools and playgrounds not super clean. But I think it is normal with that much people.
Prima huisjes. Mooi park.
bien
The resort and facilities are Awesome. Restaurants too had great food. Personnel are nice too.
My wife and I were surprised that there was no soap, body wash or shampoo in the apartment. We thought there would at least be A small package. Had to buy some at the store the next day as front desk only had toothpaste for sell. Also only 1 towel each for our 2 night stay (cost 9 euro for another). Plus the apartment wasn't clean, as dust under the bed..
Schwimmbad super und für Kids in jedem Alter geeignet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort zu teuer. Unterkunft zweckmäßig.
We'd never been to a centre parcs before, so it was a bit of an experiment. As someone who always loved backpacking it seems an anathema to me, but young kids change your priorities.. The Aqua Mundo (swimming pool complex) is great, and has a huge variety of pools and slides. You could spend most of every day there happily enough. The cottages are basic but pretty comfortable - and surprisingly secluded given how many there were. There was quite a range of things to do, some free like Aqua Mundo, but many more like archery and bike hire available at the 16 euro sort of level. I cycled into Peer the nearby village, and there are plenty of off road routes available outside of the site itself.
One thing I'd have given a lot for is to have bug screens on the window. We were confronted with the choice of either it being too stuffy with the windows closed, or whiny mosquitos waking us up if they were open. The number of mosquitoes wasn't excessive - but it only takes one to keep you up all night. They don't provide much for free, and although we'd thought to bring dishwasher tabs, we ended up having to buy a whole 4 pack of toilet rolls because we ran out on day 5. The onsite shop is actually pretty well supplied, but all the prices are notably higher than in a general supermarket.
I like the concept and the facilities. My family enjoyed our stay very much. Our cabin was in a good location. The staff is friendly. The pool is great.
The towels were dirty, the floor was dirty, the cabin didn’t had toilet paper. If I had known I had to bring toilet paper in advance it would have been better. The restaurant menu is overpriced for the quality of the food. No many vegan options.
The cottage was really spacious and had all the necessary equipment. Our stay was during the spring, so it was very beautiful. Lots of greenery and bird songs. There are plenty of things to do in the park for children of all ages. We rented a bike for our daughter, and that made getting around the park very easy. There are plenty of different swimming pools, playgrounds, pony rides, and animal petting sessions. One of the days we travelled the route to Peer and back. It was easy enough for a 3 year old on a bike (no significant denivelation and mostly concrete roads with very little traffic).
There were a couple of inhumane mouse traps. Two things that bother me about them. The first is that there are traps like a box that does not harm the mice, I really hope that they would be considered. I only imagined my daughter finding a mouse trapped there (or worse, waking in the middle of the night). The second is that my daughter actually found them, so they weren't hidden or out of children reach, so an accident could easily happen. We deactivated both traps for our stay. People at least could be warned that there are traps inside, but I really hope that they are removed for good.
Park was schoon
Crazy bingo spel entertainment
Cycling. Lots of cycling routes available.
Language misunderstanding of what twin beds and double beds mean.
beds were very hard and all of us found them uncomfortable
The nature.
The food.. i expected more for the food.
Belle organisation
het 2 persoonshuisje is iets gedateerd maar voor een kort verblijf oke. het zou fijn zijn wanneer mensen met een invalidenkaart voor de auto de auto kort bij het huisje kunnen parkeren.
Rien a dire! Sejour excellent et le cottage tres confortable
We had a very nice week of family holiday. There is a big choice of activities like tennis, badminton, biking etc. Aquamundo offers lots of fun for the kids. I would recomend as an improvement, changing the bath towels at least once a week should be included in the price.
Schlechtester Service! 35 min anstehen für ein Frühstück !!!!
