The drain in my shower didn’t work and the water flooded the bathroom floor. I had to stop the shower after a few seconds and then wash an arm and a meg at a time. It was frustrating. I think the hotel should discount my stay.

Bel espace et chambre agréable au niveau couleurs (juste le plafonnier est d’une lumière trop blanche donc peu cosy), grand lit, parking devant, impec car resto juste à côté et partenaire donc remise sur l’addition.

Une seule personne pour gérer le petit déjeuner et l 'accueil, c est trop juste.Sinon c'est correct.

Tête de lit usée jusqu’à la trame, moquette d’une propreté discutable, joints des carreaux de la douche soit inexistant soit teintés marron par l’âge…

The hotel is fine for people on low budget bus tours, who are happy with mediocre breakfasts, but it lacks any local culture and is located in a boring part of town, but staff were friendly and there was nothing horrible about the place.

Chambre 308 salle, meuble abîmés, présence de poil et cheveux dans la salle de bain, sur le mobilier de la chambre. WC mal nettoyés aussi. Lit confortable et propre. Petit déjeuner à 12 euros qui est vraiment décevant, et ne met pas en appétit.

A estadia ocorreu tudo bem. O quarto é bem grande mesmo, e esse foi o ponto alto. Tivemos espaço suficiente para nossas malas e tudo. O café da manhã é bem simples, sem muita opção, mas bom. O hotel aparenta ser um pouco antigo também.

De passage une nuit, nous sommes très satisfaits aussi bien sur le plan confort que propreté. A conseiller.

J'ai l'habitude d'aller dans cet hôtel et n'ai jamais été déçu, sauf cette fois, où il faisait un froid glacial dans la chambre, sans possibilité de mettre le chauffage. Je veux bien qu'on fasse des économies d'énergie et qu'on soit éco-responsables, mais on ne vient pas non plus à l'hôtel pour tomber malade !

C'est la seconde fois que je viens Le restaurant qui était sur le parking a fermé depuis et il faut reprendre la voiture pour en trouver un autre ou marcher un peu Mais cela ne remet pas en cause la qualité de l'hôtellerie : un accueil sympathique, des chambres très propres, un parking spacieux, un PDJ varié avec des produits frais

Un hôtel bien situé et au calme, proposant un petit déjeuner copieux et à un bon rapport qualité prix. Petits points à noter : la télévision à tendance à sauter et les têtes de lit mériteraient un rafraîchissement.

Great reception. Very helpful staff. Room comfortable. Great bathroom. The hotel is very well situated next to a shopping centre. There is also a restaurant next door, "l'atelier" where you get 10% off meals with the hotel.

The hotel is dated and looks a little worn. But the best part was the incredible staff that helped make sure our stay was great. Without the staff this would have been a 3 star review.

Petit déjeuner mal organisé et les clients sont obligés de chercher dans les placards pour avoir de la vaisselle et le buffet n’est plus aussi fourni qu’avant. Un hôtel moderne et bien situé. On regrettera toutefois l'absence totale d'insonorisation entre la porte d'entrée et le couloir.

We love this hotel but the windows of the rooms at the back are overlooked by buildings opposite so we have to keep the curtains drawn. Normally we ask for the rooms overlooking the parking but those rooms were taken this time. I suggested to the reception that some nets at the windows would be a good idea.

Worst hotel experience ever! The room was very dusty and dirty as though no one had stayed in the room for years. Spiders and spider webs at several spots in the room, and I’ve never seen such dirty carpet in a hotel room before. We also had to live with a huge fly in the room for the 2 days. The lime scale on the shower head was terribly yucky although the bathroom and toilet itself was the cleanest spot in the entire room. We had 2 people stayed in the room but only 1 bath towel was provided. There was another bath towel placed in the closet but apparently it was used and dirty. On the morning during checkout time, there was no one at the front desk and we waited for 15 min until someone finally came out, there was obviously a lack of staff as the staff was saying she was the only person managing the front desk, kitchen, and the rooms. She asked me how was my stay and I told her my honest opinion, she was then only giving me a shrug and not so sincere apology. I travel a lot and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed.

Très bon séjour dans le cadre d’un déplacement professionnel. Bon accueil, parking volumineux. Facilité d’accès. Les chambres sont belles et agréables. Petit point négatif un peu de poussière sur une barre de douche et des légères remontées d’odeurs de canalisations dans la salle de bains, mais rien de très grave. Je recommande et reviendrait avec plaisir !

Hotel molto buono, ci siamo trovati bene. La posizione è decentrata, il nostro era un viaggio in macchina per cui è stata una soluzione ottima per andare a Caen, ma anche per andare a visitare la normandia più in generale. Si raggiungono con poco tutte le arterie stradali. La camera era confortevole e pulita. Il personale gentile. Consigliato

Only stayed one night - arrived very late and left early the next morning. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival, the room was clean and breakfast buffet was outstanding! Conveniently located near the incredible Caen Memorial Museum and the Caen airport.

I arrived at the hotel at 01:00, the reception staff was very efficient and friendly. The room and facilities were excellent for my requirements.

The rooms are fairly new though are starting to show some wear and tear. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not worth the money, there's a great bakery around the corner and it's cheaper. Overall, it was what I paid for, nothing more, nothing less.

We had to wait over 5 min before someone came to check us & another guest in, which felt much longer since we had been traveling all day & were tired. The place looked a bit run down, walls needed to be wiped clean in our room, we had to ask for additional pillows, there was no sheet between us & the comforter & there were cobwebs in the room. If you need a place to sleep that is cheap, in more ways than one, this is your place. The location was great.

Overall a great stay….except the breakfast we paid 10 euros each for the worst food on our travels,scrambled egg must of been an hour old you couldn’t put your knife into the sausage,the bacon looked like cut up scraps overall very poor not worth 1euro , shame really the staff, room and hotel were great.

Great choice for an overnight stop, very clean & well equipped with large comfortable beds and incredibly friendly, helpful staff at an affordable price.

Good hotel but beware. I prepaid through Expedia but when I checked in they asked for a $67 “deposit” for damages that was supposed to be credited back to my acct. They ended up keeping this money. I have called three times and three times I’ve been told by Phil that I would get an email and the cash returned to my card but I haven’t received anything. No email, no refund. Even worse is that I have to pay for the calls from the US to France to try to solve this. Beware!

Petit déjeuner buffet complet avec option salée mais pas de grande qualité avec des saucisses sèches et des oeufs brouillés très liquides qui n avaient pas trop goût d oeuf donc décevant. Les choix sucrés semblaient plus larges et in peu plus qualitatifs.

Great stay, friendly helpful staff, comfy bed, quiet room, quality windows and doors that keep any noise out. Good lighting in the room. Good breakfast too. Could do with a better chair to sit at the desk in the room, that’s my only negative comment.

Good, comfortable no-fuss hotel on the outskirts of Caen. Plenty of parking and ready access to the city or roads leading further afield. Hotel has a basic bar, and provides breakfast although thought this was poor value at 9 Euros. A number of chain restaurants within walking distance.

Good for stopover, triple room booked was small and third bed not good quality so booked a second room (advantage of staying in a less expensive hotel!). Slept fine. Did not try breakfast. There is a supermarket nearby and a restaurant next door.

Fantastic budget hotel for exploring D-Day beaches! We checked in, room is a little small but its totally functional! The shower is the BEST!!! Rain style shower, very nice bathroom and seperate toilet (little high off the ground for me, really did feel like a throne!!) The bed was big and very comfy although there was only 1 pillow each, we had brought our own as we were going camping after Normandy. The restaurant next door was great (little expensive but so convenient) and my boyfriend said that his duck was cooked spot on.

Nice clean quiet and practically located close to the Caen Mémorial and a large shopping center (Carrefour). Was easy to find on my way from Bayeux (tapestry) and has easy access to highway to go to Paris.

Really nice place. Everything seemed very newly renovated, and the air conditioning worked great!

The staff here was amazing. They helped us with everything from directions to the nearest market to things to see in the area to mixing up a Kir Normand at the bar. The hotel has a large, free parking lot and easy access to the main road to Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. It is less than 3 miles from downtown Caen. The rooms are clean and new, but minimalist. No safe, no refrigerator, no microwave. There is a hot pot for tea and coffee. A large screen TV with a nice selection of channels and free, fast WiFi. We spent a very enjoyable four nights here.

Good location for getting around the area and it's surroundings. 5mins from centre of Caen by car. A few restaurants in the immediate area, mainly chain type but decent quality. Ideal short break touring the area place to stay.

hairdryer not working from day one - reported but no action taken by staff.No card available in room to hang externally for maid to allow no admittance- knocking door at 9.10 am to clean room.No top up of tea/coffee/milk supplies in room.Asked at reception re mailing of letter -staff at reception unaware that it is stated in room booklet information that hotel will stamp letter at reception for a cost- having told staff this they agreed to send letter and was charged for this. Disappointed to learn on return home letter was never received.

Hôtel spotless, spacious rooms, we had a room either side (car park side was very noisy from 7am -road works -moaning the lawns coaches) but Riad side was pretty silent). Bar and reception often attended by the same staff therefor not always speedy although always very May need one more staff to attend bar area.
