Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns eine schöne Zeit bereitet. Die Unterkunft hatte alles was wir gebraucht hatten und noch mehr. Schöner Pool und Hot tub, die Spielscheune war ein Highlight auch die kleine Wanderung war grandios. Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit und wollten gar nicht mehr weg.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit netten Gastgebern. Schwimmbad mit Aussicht.

Very welcoming and helpful owners

The property is very special. It is perched on a hill overlooking a beautiful coastline and it has been lovingly restored. Our hosts were very friendly and the room has everything you could possibly want in it down to barbeque supplies! The bed was comfortable and there is ample AC for hot days. The room is beautifully designed like a country cottage and great attention to detail was paid to picking out fabrics, appliances, art work, etc. making this feel like a very luxury experience.

The porch light on the cottage we stayed in wasn't working, but I put on a headlamp and was able to BBQ anyway. I didn't get a chance to ask the hosts as our time there was short, but no doubt they would have addressed it right away if I asked.

Everything was super clean and tidy, very well equiped and an amazing heated pool , spa and a big shed with games. Beautiful views and lovely hosts. We definitely will come back and tell our friends about it.

Highly rate this accomodation and the hosts. Absolutely beautiful location and facilities. Had the perfect weekend away and can’t wait to visit again. Everything was perfect from the views to the villa couldn’t have asked for more.

The property is extrasolar with beautiful views, inviting grass fields, being able to interact with the animals, and the cottages and pool are simply stunning!

Andrea was so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. We had a beautiful stay here and would be keen to return. Breakfast and robes provided were a special touch

Beautiful big garden with a pool and a really nice view to the bay. We stayed only one night but if you have time we would recommend to stay a little longer.

Exceptionally warm and personal welcome. Andrea our host was such a sweet and charming lady. We were immediately made to feel at home. The pool area is gorgeous and the view magnificent. The cottage itself is cosy and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the crisp white bed linen, soft towels and there were also fluffy robes for guest use. Everything was immaculately clean.

Wow, what a way to end our new zealand trip! The hosts were so friendly and the houde very comfortable. Great pool and jacuzzi facilities as well. Beautiful gardens reminding us of southern France overlooking the stunning Parua Bay. Would recommend!

A bit of noise from the adjacent unit to the smaller 1 bedroom unit… okay this time but if there were noisier people it could be a problem

My family and I travelled down to Parua Bay for the weekend for a sporting event. Kauri Villas was in close proximity to our venue and a beautiful home away from home. Warm, friendly and inviting is how I would describe Andrea and Mike. We stayed in the Kohinui Cottage and it exceeded our expectations. Warm and cosy and a perfect fit for our family of 4 (2 x adults and 2 small children) A real highlight was the pool and the games room which our 6yr old loved. The surrounding area and views that Kauri Villas sit on are also exceptionally breathtaking. We look forward to coming back to this beautiful spot of Parua Bay and thank Andrea and Mike for their hospitality and kindness.

Enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is excellent and in a beautiful location. The hosts, Andrea and Mike, go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The cottage was super clean, modern and equipped with everything you'd need. We'd have no hesitation in recommending it.

Such a comfortable, peaceful place to stay that has all the basics covered plus just a touch of luxury to remind you that you’re on vacation. We stayed in a 2-bed cottage that had very comfortable furniture, nice linens, refreshing showers, plenty of kitchen items, and thoughtful touches like some cooking basics and lovely robes. Kind and available hosts. Close to some fantastic views, beaches, and hikes, but also not too far from some small local dining options, post, and grocery. A highlight of our trip and we hope to be back!

The room (kingfisher cottage) is attached to another cottage and if your neighbours are noisy (ours had kids), you can hear them all the time. Couldn't really sleep in in the morning due to that.

Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. The cottages aren't new, but the hosts have done a great job in making sure they feel clean and comfortable. Parua Bay village (with petrol station, bakery, and Four Square) is a short drive away. Ocean Beach is about 10 mins drive, should you want a day boogie-boarding or a dip in the sea. Or you can stay put and relax by the heated pool / hot tub at Kauri Villas with that amazing view. This place is a great find in a less-populated holiday spot, and reasonably priced for what you get - highly recommend!

Awesome place, we will definitely be back! The spa and pool are great, on a clear night you can lie in the spa and gaze at the stars! The accommodation is very well set up with everything you can imagine needing and more plus an awesome games room with pool table, football table and lots of other games. Plus there is beautiful lighting everywhere. The owners are so lovely and helpful.

The hosts were warm and welcoming. I loved everything about this experience - cottage was clean, modern facilities and absolutely charming. I especially appreciated Mike spending time with us to meet his sheep - so cute! He even gave us pellets so I could feed them. Views from this property were beautiful. Many for a wonderful stay! I so wish we could have stayed longer.

I love the location and the the hosts. The quietness and serenity have to be felt. It's the perfect getaway from a hectic life. Don't hesitate just book.

The location was stunning. The cottage I stayed in was extremely comfortable and clean. The facilities were amazing, I particularly enjoyed the pool and the spa. The hosts Mike and Andrea were so lovely and welcoming. I can't wait to stay there again!

There was nothing that could have been any better, except for the weather when I wanted to go into the pool, but unfortunately we can't change the weather.

We made our own breakfast. The facilities were excellent, we had a fantastic stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great, nothing else was needed, it was all there and more.. We would definitely book again, and I highly recommend this to anyone. There was a bush walk with amazing Kauris on the property too, the games room and spa pool were also outstanding and it made for a fun environment.

Honestly, no complaints our stay was amazing!

Andrea and Mike are very friedly hosts, nice location; tastefully appointed little cottage with all kitchen utensils. Lots of attention given to details like: tastefully selcted glasses and dishes; bathrobes for two; excellent towels, immaculately prepared comfy bed for a good night's sleep; little treats (like chocolates, bikkies, choice of teas). Rivals good hotel standard. Recommended!

Andrea and Mike were super hosts, friendly, and helpful. Great views and a perfect heated pool. A central spot for exploring the areas beaches, walks etc. We would definitely recommend it for a relaxing, peaceful break.

LOVED OUR SHORT VISIT We were welcomed warmly and shown around the beautiful property. Breathtaking views, we loved our room. We will return for another visit soon. The pool is inviting the addition of the games room space, which is also inviting. We loved our quiet morning coffee over looking the bay. Super helpful we will be telling all our friends.
