DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed here for the first two nights of my trip to Thailand, so I am certain this is where I was exposed to bed bugs. I woke up with bed bug bites all over my body, which directly affected my health and had a significant impact on the rest of my trip. What made the experience even worse was the hotel’s response. I contacted them requesting a refund, but they did not even have the decency to reply. I then contacted Booking.com customer service, who told me that they had also been unable to reach an agreement with the hotel. The hygiene standards are extremely concerning. The breakfast was also of very poor quality, and the fruit was left uncovered in the heat, with insects literally on it. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I strongly discourage anyone from staying here, especially given the serious hygiene concerns and the hotel’s complete lack of response when I raised the issue.

Le Lamphu tree House est idéalement situé, au calme , pour visiter le vieux Bangkok. Le petit déjeuner servi est parfait, l'hôtel très agréable et propre. La piscine est un plus , après une journée de visites. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits très confortables.

We were in the second building (not the main one) and had a good view. Room was comfortable and we liked the old town location and nice walks along the river.

Definitely a 3* rather than a 4* in the second building (can’t comment on the main building).

Das Hotel selbst ist super! Es sieht hübsch aus und liebevolle Details stecken in jeder Ecke. Das Frühstück war einfach (Eier, Toast, Säfte, Müsli und Früchte) aber gut. Personal war unfassbar hilfsbereit und freundlich

Uns fiel auf das Hotels in Thailand generell sehr hellhörig sind, hier war es allerdings sehr extrem und die Matratzen waren extrem hart, was leider auch üblich zu sein scheint.

Camere pulite che per me è la cosa più importante. Zone comuni veramente belle e sistemate, molto caratteristico!! Colazione buona. Staff iper gentile

Struttura un po’ datata, sarebbe da dare una sistemata. Camere vecchiotte, doccia con la tenda. Però devo dire che con la pulizia impeccabile è andata benissimo anche così!!!

Cute, little hotel with friendly staff, situated on a canal walk with riverboat stops close by. Walking distance to eateries, Khao San and attractions. Breakfast was good and the cool pool a saviour

Rooms are small and the bathroom tiny with the wash basin located at the front door. Luckily the balcony added extra space. We were on the 5th floor but the elevator stops at 4. With windows open, the traffic noise may upset some.

Wir hatten die Suite ganz oben gebucht. Hier dachte ich, dass wir dadurch dem Straßenlärm entgehen können. Aber genau das Gegenteil war der Fall. Dadurch, dass das Zimmer in direkter Luftlinie zu den umliegenden Straßen war und die Fenster in keinster Weise gedämmt waren drang der Straßenlärm fast ungefiltert in das Zimmer. Dies war unerträglich. Wir mussten die Suite wechseln und haben dann ein kleineres Zimmer bekommen (was vollkommen okay war). Jedoch war es nicht möglich, die Kosten entsprechend zu erstatten, was aber an Booking.com lag und nicht am Hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 3 giorni e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La camera era molto pulita, il personale molto disponibile e anche il ristorante ottimo. La struttura organizzava anche tour guidati e ne abbiamo approfittato per andare a vedere i flooring market e il train market, una gita fuori porta molto bella.

L'établissement est très bien placé et calme, Le personnel est vraiment très gentil, toujours disponible (sur place ou par mail) et malgré une arrivée très matinale, nous a donné nos chambres des que celles ci ont été libérées et prêtes Les chambres sont suffisamment spacieuses, la literie est confortables et les espaces communs agréables. La piscine est un vrai plus dans bangkok !

Absolument rien, nous y retournons par ailleurs pour la fin de notre road trip avant de prendre notre avion retour

ホテルのスタッフさんが優しかったです！ お部屋もおしゃれで雰囲気が良いし、カオサン通りへも歩いていけて立地もよかったです。

ランドリールームはついてありませんでしたが、ホテルのすぐ近くに1キロ80バーツで洗濯できるクリーニング屋さんを教えてくれました！クリーニングは1時間半ほどで乾燥まで乾燥しており、しわはありましたが、良い匂いで帰ってきました。

No es un hotel de 4 estrellas como se indica en booking. Necesita algunas reformas y cambios, por ej las cortinas de la habitación y por supuesto la cortina de la ducha. Si no fuera por la zona de la piscina no sería mas que un hostal.

The food here was excellent and we enjoyed using the pool after a hot day in Bangkok. The location was good and it was a very clean hotel.

Posizione bellissima sul fiume, in un posto tranquillo e silenzioso con tanto verde. Struttura molto bella, con piscina. Bonus: raggiungibile con autobus S1 dall'aeroporto e non lontano dalle principali attrazioni, via bus o grab. Abbiamo riprenotato un secondo soggiorno. Bello!

Sehr zentral Lage, alles einfach zu Erreichen, mit Tuktuk, Bus oder Boot und zu Fuß. Perfekt Lage für die Stadt.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. 's Morgens kregen we een goed ontbijt. Het hotel bevindt zich op een rustige locatie vlak aan het water en dicht bij winkels en restaurants. De kamers zijn in orde. Het zwembad is niet groot, maar ideaal om verkoeling te zoeken.

Het hotel ligt niet vlak aan een weg. Hierdoor is het soms moeilijk om af te spreken met taxi's.

Wij zaten in een tweede soort gebouw op 2 minuten lopen van het hoofdgebouw. Had geen uitstraling en was onpraktisch. Er werd moeilijk gedaan over twee kamers naast elkaar ivm kinderen.

Quelques problèmes de robinetterie que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de signaler (un lavabo sur deux qui fonctionnent et pas d'eau chaude).

Emplacement par rapport aux lieux de visite et très calme. Quartier très agréable et qui nous a donné une vision de Bangkok après une séjour de 5 jours a Sukhumvit.

Personnel agréable mais peu communiquant. Mon fils s'est blessé superficiellement en dehors de l'hôtel et ils n'avait pas de désinfectant à me proposer.

- la gentillesse du personnel de restauration - la piscine agréable après une longue journée de marche - le petit déjeuner basique (en sucré et salé) mais varié avec un plat de poulet thaï différent chaque jour

- la taille de la douche, vraiment petite et un rideau de douche trop court (dans les 2 chambres que nous avions) - l'isolation des chambres: pas de rideaux épais donc réveillés tôt par la lumière du jour, et aussi par le bruit des chambres et couloirs (portes qui claquent, discussion dans les couloirs...) vraiment dommage car sans ces 2 point négatifs, l'hôtel et les équipements sont vraiment complets et agréables - dommage de subir l'odeur et les fumées de cannabis des autres clients dès 8h du matin au petit déjeuner (nous nous sommes déplacés dans la salle de restauration les jours suivants)

Gute ruhige Lage, schöner Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Pool und Café sowie Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, schön am Klong gelegen.

Im Zimmer wirkt vieles etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Telefon sehr vergilbt, an manchen Kanten ist die Farbe abgeplatzt…). Leider hatten wir sehr laute Zimmernachbarn, wofür das Hotel nichts kann, allerdings ist die Rezeption auch nachts nicht besetzt (laut Aushang).

Nous avons apprécié la décoration de salle du rez de chaussée avec la petite piscine et les divers panneaux en bois traditionnel. Le déjeuner était correct sans etre exceptionnel (comme souvent en Thaïlande peu de secre). L'emplacement de l hotel est assez central pour les visites. A quelques pas de kho san raod ( ce qui ne nous intéressait pas vraiment. Il est a noté (mais ce n'est pas un problème) que les taxi ne peuvent déposer kes clients a l hotel car c'est un acces trop petit. Il y a environ 30m a faire a pied. L'hôtel donne sur le quai dun petit canal, avec ses petits qrbres, c'est tres mignon. Si vous continuez sur la deoite en sortant de l hotel, il y a quelques restaurants et une petites echope (juste avant le second pont) avec une excellente nourriture tres fraîche et des grosses crevettes vivantes a un prix plus quabordable.

L'accueil a été un pru froid : jau eu un doute sur le paiement fait a l'avance via booking quand le garçon nous a demandé de payer a l arrivée. Les 2 sont possibles avec booking et même sil na rien dit, nous avons pu voir un petit agacement Ui nous a mis mal a l'aise. Bref ! Ensuite, nous avons ete très decus de la chambre tres petite.il y a un tout petit balcon (peu utile), une fenêtre dun autre temps , complètement branlante. Le verrou est inutile. La salle de bain est etroite avec un rideau de douche trop court, un pommeau de douche quil faut tenir a la maison ( deja vu dans dautres hotels en Thaïlande mais pas a ce tarif), la douche des wc qui fuie en inondant la piece. Le rideau de la chambre n'est enbrien occultant, onbest réveillé des les 1eres lueurs du jours et endormis quand le bruit des voitures cessent (tres tard). Nous avons mis laff8che pour faire la chambre a 11h mais comme nous sommes revenus vers 17h30, elle n'avait pas été faite. Effectivement la pancarte était par terre dans le couloir (certainement un courant d'air) mais dans le doute, le choix a été fait de ne rien faire. Nous avons laissé nos bagages 1h30 a l hotel apres le check out et aucune aide ne nous a ete apporté, la personne a l accueil nous a juste montré la direction avec le doigt, pas d'étiquetatage des valises. Nous auruons pu repartir avec n'importe laquelle. Derrière chose, cette hotel ne oeut accueillir des personnes a mobilité reduite car il y a des marches partout et l'ascenseur vois conduit a des demis etages et nous sur le palier du couloir des chambres. J'ai un oeu de mal a comprendre les très bonne appréciation, nous ne reviendrons pas et prefererons l'hôtel que nous avons pris les fois précédentes. Certes un peu plus éloigné mais beaucoup mieux pour un prix plus compétitif.

Schöne ruhige Lage am Kanal, trotz, dass sich das Hotel mitten im Zentrum befindet.

Das Frühstück war ansich sehr gut. Am zweiten Tag war allerdings alles alle und wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt, obwohl noch 1 Stunde Frühstückszeit war. Unser Zimmer direkt am Treppenaufgang war ziemlich hellhörig.

Positiv: Ganztägig kostenlose Heiß- und Kaltgetränke. Die Lage war sehr gut.

Für ein De Lux Zimmer war das Zimmer nicht entsprechend groß und nicht entsprechend ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nach 9 Uhr nicht mehr ausreichend gefüllt.

Zwembad vrij klein. Geen ligzetels. Je moet op stoelen zitten in het restaurant. Moeilijk bereikbaar met Taxi.

I wanted something on a canal at a reasonable price, this fitted perfectly, maybe I got it cheaper because the canal footpaths were being finished and beautified this last week, top location, short walk to the river ferry,lots of local eateries as well as in-house, a nice swimming pool at the bar restaurant and breakfast setting area overlooking a canal, very pleasant. Local life all around.

Only the footpaths but they are nearly fixed otherwise terrific.

Très bien situé, respectant le charme de l’ancien. Piscine magnifique.

Goede locatie, lekker zwembad, prima kamers. Ontbijt was ok en het restaurant had wel een paar goede opties qua eten. Wij hebben hier als gezin gelogeerd en het zwembad was echt heel fijn om te hebben. Locatie was ook echt perfect, op loop afstand van Khao San Road. Personeel was attent en behulpzaam. Goede tips ook voor de stad.

Het hotel was moeilijk te bereiken omdat de straat opengebroken was. Na ploeteren met de koffers over de stukken puin kwamen we bij het hotel. We hadden een kamer op de bovenste verdieping, deels lift. Ondertussen waren er gasten die geen stroom hadden op de kamers die kwamen klagen. Aangekomen in onze kamer was het een sauna, de airco deed het niet goed. In de badkamer zagen we een kakkerlak. We zijn gelijk omgekeerd en vertrokken. We kunnen dus geen oordeel geven over ontbijt etc.

Very difficult to find the place. The Bangkok authorities were upgrading the walkway directly outside the entrance causing great difficulty in getting in and out of the entrance. There was only one way to exit the building to get anywhere cause the walkway has buildings on one side and a canal on the other side. There was rubble everywhere causing it very difficult to walk anywhere. Several times I had stumbles and nearly fell down. You need to realise that I am a 71 year old man with feet problems.

Great little hotel with two buildings. We stayed in the second property, which was just a few minute walk from the main building. Our room was clean and comfortable.
