The cleaning of kitchen, bathroom was done poorly The couch in the lunch area needs a good deep cleaning. It's beige so the dirt is visible. Breakfast was disappointing, it's a buffet but only eggs, bake beans, breakfast small sausage and French loaf. Kelloggs porridge, it wasn't a variety to choose from. Luckily my family and I doesn't eat much.

It was smelly, so bad I could not sleep inside the property, even the balcony was smelly! Very loud from the road. The stuff is very rude. There is a reason why every score it’s in red, check before you go and book it like me not looking in reviews.

Had a nice time for my stay, very cosy place. Will surely be back again.

We checked in at Nitzana on the 2nd of Jan 2025, we have been in Mauritius for almost 14 days, so we had to change location I wish if we had booked with Nitzana for the whole stay, the host was nice and made sure we are comfortable, their hotel is small but nice, we enjoyed their breakfast even thou they don't have lot of food but everything was perfect I will definitely recommend them to friends and others

It was really spacious and comfortable. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the workers were really helpful all the time.

The biggest problem was professional enough to speak french.

The breakfast was always delicious and freshly made in the kitchen on the spot. The location was beautiful: green and with a good atmosphere. The apartment was very spacious and it was spotlessly clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful: reliable and trustworthy.

Amenities such as air con was leaking in one room and not working in the other room. Tap was leaking in bathroom. Will definitely not stay there again. Please do not look only at pictures. There is a reason all the ratings are in red on booking.com

I love the atmosphere at nitzana it's my fourth stay

When we came for check-in the lady at the reception desk was shouting over the phone with an employee in hindi and did not acknowledge us. Once the call was finished, then she tooked our ID for the fomalities. However, we humbly asked to get a room with blinds on the balcony for privacy. She was rude and condescending saying that because i have made reservations on booking.com that the service would not be up to the same standard if i have made the reservation directly with them. Thankfully, Anousha came and made the necessary for us, changed the room that the receptionist gave us. Anousha was very professional and polite and her customer service was top notch.

Not far from the beach

No kettle , no iron , no hair dryer ( had to ask ) The building definitely needs a renovation asap ! The fridge was making some really loud noises We stayed there for 6 days , same exact breakfast every morning

Nothing it was a stressful experience

We were sent on last floor with no phone no internet fridge was not working no tv - poor cleanliness. We were not advised on the reception while taking the keys that nothing was in good condition. We were advised that there had been a fire in the hotel and still under refurbishment during our stay. Our stay has been spoilt and so was our holiday. The receptionist had no manners she was not welcoming and she was rude. I will and never recommend this hotel

Dirty walls, they really need a refurbishment. Kitchen is poorly equipped. If you are planning to cook and eat something there it could be a challenge.

Staff were very friendly, professional and always more than helpful to assist and sort out problems and requests, always available and prompt - thanks! Walking distance from beautiful beach and public transport. Aircons in bedrooms are an absolute pleasure / a necessity in hot December months. Very nice restaurant and infinity pool (although small) on the facility. Daily room cleaning and towels replacement, but room cleaning doesnt wash dishes - which is something one would expect.

The facilities are very average, but sufficient, just dont expect anything luxury. As a self catering accommodation facility, the kitchen equipment & appliances are very basic and can hugely be improved : eg only 4 tall glasses and 4 small cups, no matching plates or cultary (and only 4 of each), 1 pot and 1 pan, a few bowls, a toaster, a ketle, a fridge and a microwave - thats it. Nothing more. The living room and open-plan kitchen becomes extremely hot and humid in December and the bathroom is really like a sauna !! - so that one can not comfortable enjoy these areas. Being used to hot South African weather, I can just imagine how much more uncomfortable Europeans will be ..... The portable fan in the living room doesnt help at all. An aircon in the living room, and extractor fan in the bathroom, are really an absolute necessity, a must, and will hugely improve the facility. The biggest dissapointment was unfortunately the Breakfast (which I personnaly was very much looking forward to) - sufficient, but very basic - every single day the same - one can eat only so much viennas and bake beans .... gheez. Breakfast is only served from 8am which is very late, especially in Desember when the day starts / sun rises at 5h30 - but dont expect them to be ready to serve before 8h30.... and when you have booked day trips, you will have to miss breakfast .... not that missing those breakfast was really a big deal. The variety at Breakfast can hugely improve and should start at least at 7am in summer months - ready to serve, not still stuffing around to get food and displays ready. It also often happens that when some food, bread or juice are finished, its not filled up - so be there early to get food first .... but not at 8am yet .... else you will have to wait long for the food to be served ... There are only stairs and no lifts. Building need some paintwork and general maintenance.

The AC worked and the TV worked. Water pressure was good.

The room was unclean when we arrived. Each day it was not cleaned to a satisfactory standard, leaving food and rubbish out on the counters. Our bathroom flooded and we were asked to move to another room for a night with no apology whatsoever from staff or understanding for our inconvenience. We were then told we would need to move back to the old room once the toilet was fixed despite having unpacked twice already. The surfaces were unclean, the floors too. The breakfast was limited and often left open for flies to find. The noise from the main road was unbearable at times. The sofa was hard and uncomfortable. I would rate this as a 1 star accommodation.

Location was great and easy access to the beach

Bathroom and sink are clogged so the water doesn’t drain quick enough.. couch is filthy and worn and there was a piece of used tissue paper under the coffee table from previous tenant that kept being missed by the cleaning crew.. I never saw anyone at the reception and one of the restaurant waiting staff had to check us in and out on both occasions.

Pool was nice

The bed was rock hard, eventually slept on the couch. I had 3 rooms. The bedding was dirty in two of the rooms. Please change the beds and make sure the bedding is clean!!

The staff were friendly, and the location was good. Although not exactly on the beach front it did have good access to the beach. Breakfast was also nice.

They took us in as short notice after our booking elsewhere turned out to be fake. If I visit North Mauritius again, I will not hesitate but book these people again.

I recently stayed at a hotel and had an absolutely terrible experience. The room I was given was infested with bugs, and there was no air-conditioning, which made for an incredibly uncomfortable stay. From the moment I walked into the room, I noticed a strange odor, and it wasn't long before I realized that the room was infested with bugs. There were insects crawling on the walls, ceiling, and even the bathroom. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff, but they seemed indifferent to the situation and did not offer to move me to a different room. To make matters worse, the room did not have any air-conditioning, and the temperature inside was sweltering. I could barely sleep at night due to the heat and the constant noise from the insects. When I asked the staff about the air-conditioning, they simply said that it was not available in my room and offered no solution to the problem. Overall, my stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will never be returning. The infested room and lack of air-conditioning made for an unbearable experience, and the staff's indifference to the situation only made it worse. Stay away from this hotel if you value your comfort and sanity.

If you want to rest properly during your nights perhaps it's not suitable! The building is located next to a busy road and it was very noisy from 5-6 am. We were proposed to move to another room but unfortunately it was the same, we couldn't sleep, so we decided to leave and check out earlier. As everwhere is mauritius lots of insects, therefore we asked staff for insect repellent. It must be forgotten. Cleaning could be improved; for example shower was full of death insects.

Great location - lovely quiet beach nearby, close to downtown Grand Bay. Large room - even bigger than we expected.

The bedroom windows overlook the ocean and it is great, but it is across the street and the cars are very loud.

Staff were exceptional..always helpful with a cheerful disposition.Quiet beach across the road.

Accueil chaleureux et vraiment sympathique mais personne ne parlait français quand nous sommes arrivés. Dès deux côtés l'anglais était approximatif mais nous y sommes arrivés. Très grand appart fort agréable (manque de luminosité et de luminaires dommage). Cependant la 3eme personne dort sur le canapé... J'avais lu les avis mais bon il faut le voir pour le croire...des trous et des bosses, une horreur. La responsable le lendemain vous dit que c'est normal et que si on met un plaid ça suffit...et nous raccroche au nez quand on demande une info à la réception... Sinon toutes les autres personnes étaient adorables, souriantes, à l'écoute. Bon petit déjeuner (dommage la musique dans la salle n'allait pas avec le lieu et rappelait une playlist d'enterrement.) Très bon rapport qualité prix 42 euros pour trois avec le petit déj. Dommage la route était fort bruyante mais on s'y habitue. Toute petite plage à 2min à pieds.

Beautiful place and room. Loved the balcony and swimming pool. Facilities like kitchen, microwave, kettle, fridge.

Lights in the kitchen so dim that you cannot see anything. Even in the living room not enough lights. The table in the kitchen was a bit greasy. You can hear the noise on the road. Every single transport if you are a light sleeper. The aluminium doors are not sound proof. I could not sleep due to that . For breakfast limited options for vegetarian.

Staff were very warm and welcoming. Good customer service at the restaurant as well. Food was amazing both breakfast and dinner.

The apartments were not that comfortable as in fans were not giving cool air at all, cutlery weren't enough for the number of people staying, maintainance problem. WiFi problem in the studio. The lighting weren't that good in the apartments,especially the living room.

I would not recommend anyone because the room Hibiscus No 15 and 11 were terrible poorly maintained there were lizards everywhere and mosquitoes. We asked for a mosquito diffuser and the receptionist told us they would send one which was in vain as nobody came along. The bedsheet was torn very old and most of all we all didn’t sleep as the bed was not comfortable one could feel the wire spring on our back. One advice I would give all those booking in this place to check the room before they stay. We made a big mistake we didn’t check the bed! Very very disappointing to see lizards. The only thing we appreciate was the shower we had hot water. The receptionist was welcoming but only for the diffuser that was not professional!

Bel appartement, très très spacieux, bien équipé. Très propre et moderne. Accueil sympathique. Jolie piscine très agréable. Un restaurant Indien délicieux et peu honereux au pied de l'appartement. Le meilleur du secteur . Une très belle plage en face. Seul bémol, la route très bruyante qui passe le long. Notre appartement, le numéro Géranium et ses chambres donnant aussi bien sur l'arrière que sur l'avant nous a montré la différente entre côté route et non. A choisir, demander côté intérieur et non donnant côté route. Dommage car cet endroit s'était parfait dans cette route. A recommander si côté intérieur donc.
