Hostel Roots

Great location and friendly staff :)

4 euros for a towel and no soap in the bathroom is a bit unacceptable for that price. The lack of kitchen or a communal fridge is a major drawback.

Great location, great staff awesome vibes with the bar downstairs. Guests also very pleasant. Clean sheets and common spaces. Loved option of bike rental!

I think it is way overpriced. For A shared 12 bed with simple beds and no other real comforts its just too much.

Mooie ruime kamer. Ligging is goed. Ontspannen sfeer.

Ontbijt is simpel maar goed.

Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlichen. Die Stimmung insgesamt war sehr gut. Super sympathische Menschen.

We loved everything about it. The location was excellent for the train station but also the centre. The staff were excellent and the room was absolute value for money.

Posizione super centrale, colazione buonissima e staff super accogliente

The staff were nice, comfortable bed.

No wifi! Had no wifi in the room and on the 4th. I asked them about it and they said they would check it but did nothing. Half of the data plan I bought was spent because they had no WiFi. I rely on hotels to have wifi and this is going to cost me money to buy more data. It kind of a bare minimum hostel - they bring you sheets and you need to put it on your bed and then bring them down when you check out. They don't bring you a towel - you have to pay to get one. They don't have laundry machines and no lockers in the rooms - the lockers are on the first floor. Need more hooks around the beds.

L'ambiance

Neat wee touch like the welcome sign in our room when we eventually did get there (flight delayed) staff were very accommodating after we notified them we would be arriving later than intended.

Loved every bit

Nicely located

A little warm

Friendliness of the staff, Friendliness of the staff, atmosphere

Ligging

The staff! They were very helpful.

Left with some 30 bedbugs bites. The toilet was always wet on the floor

Lage sehr gut. Parkmöglichkeit gut. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schöne Atmosphäre.

Geweldig vriendelijk personeel.

Alles was prima!

Personal was very friendly and kind

Price can be little lower

The staff were really nice and helpful. I also liked the charm of the building, the location and the breakfast.

The AC didn't work in our room and it was hot outside. But we managed to sleep with a ventilator and the window open.

I like the service, the rooms, and the interior design. The vibe was lovely. The toilets were clean. It works well as a place to stay at when going to a concert

The rooms themselves were a bit dirty and had dirt on the floor

Tolle Lage, charmantes Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal

Location is excellent, 5 minutes walking from bus/train station Stuff is very very welcoming and friendly

Locatie centrum station

The staff was great and the location itself was very quite and very close to the train station. The atmosphere is very cozy and the people I was sharing my room with were very lovely. I felt very safe as a single lady traveler.

The room I stayed was on the top floor, so it made it very hot to sleep at night. (But it was also during the time when it was around 28 degrees in Tilburg.)

Breakfast was delicious, bed in private room SUPER comfy, lots of cool little nooks in common areas. Staff was nice and helpful!

Lieu super, emplacement impeccable !

The staf

In my opinion, very few hostels require a security deposit, especially when they advertise through Booking.com. What I find unfair is that the deposit is only mentioned after the accommodation has already been booked and paid for. I arrived expecting to check in because my stay was fully paid, but I was unable to do so because of an unexpected deposit requirement. This creates unnecessary problems for travelers and should be made clear before payment, not afterwards. Practices like this damage the trust people place in Booking.com. I believe hosts should be transparent about all mandatory costs from the beginning.

The atmosphere of the place is incredibly welcoming, lively, and just charming overall. Room cleanliness and comfort are above standard in terms of hostels that I've visited. Found the staff to be very friendly and happy to help. They let me leave my bag at reception when I arrived before the check in time and wanted to explore the city, same when I checked out and had errands to run before leaving.

Can't think of anything.

Locatie centrum Tilburg erg goed met openbaar vervoer. Auto. Onmogelijk. Personeel dikke plus

Under my room was the breakfast bar. There was a heavy base box hunming deep tones all night. Could not sleep in this vibration.

The toilets, very clean

Ontbijt was heerlijk.

The location is great. Very close to the train station which was exactly what I was looking for. The staff were very sweet. Also the room was more spacious than I expected. Overall, a great experience

The staff was very helpful

Great location and good for short stay

Quite dirty shared bathrooms, showers etc, also unsafe positioning of the beds, no rails for stairs

Beautiful place, awesome location, wonderful staff. We loved everything!

Nothing not to like.

Hi tornaré i el recomenaré

Tot perfecte

Netjes en goed geregrld

Superlief personeel

Douchestoel was dun.

The staff was so friendly and helpful with all of the tips. Great location, really close the station. Facilities were clean.

The showers were a floor above, but not a big issue.

Super freundliches Personal, Radverleih auch möglich, Frühstück lecker

Prima locatie
