★★★★★ Une expérience absolument exceptionnelle Tout était absolument parfait. Le château est magnifique, mais ce qui m’a particulièrement impressionnée, c’est la qualité de sa rénovation : tout a été réalisé avec un goût exquis, une élégance rare et un souci du détail remarquable. La décoration est exceptionnelle, les lieux sont entretenus avec un niveau de perfection impressionnant, et chaque espace est empreint de charme et d’histoire. On ressent vraiment l’amour et le soin qui ont été apportés à la restauration de ce lieu. Le personnel est adorable, attentionné et professionnel. Le petit-déjeuner était également excellent, dans un cadre tout simplement magnifique. Je me suis sentie tellement bien dans ce château que je n’avais presque pas envie de partir ! C’est un endroit où l’on se sent privilégié et où l’on aimerait rester plus longtemps. Je recommande absolument le Castello di Limatola à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour exceptionnel, dans un lieu chargé d’histoire, magnifiquement restauré et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Une véritable parenthèse hors du temps. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. ❤️

Bellissima struttura, basata su un format di un vecchio castello storico rinnovato nell’ambiente delle stanze, arredi ed affreschi. Materiali belli e di effetto, interessanti le stanze denominate come i personaggi storici del castello, letti comodi, servizi ottimi, colazione ricca ed eccellente. Servizio curato e gentile, dove non è lasciato nulla al caso. Parcheggio disponibile, ambienti comuni ricchi di effetto, spazi ampi.

Forse una maggiore attenzione nella pulizia sarebbe auspicabile

La cortesia del personale è unica: ci hanno coccolati sino alla fine. Il ristorante Doremi è stupendo. Tutto gustoso e buonissimo! La colazione è ottima. Pane e dolci sono prodotti dalla cucina, La stanza Anna Gambacorta è stupenda, con l'enorme vasca (sarebbe meglio dire stanza) idromassaggio che coccola e accoglie.

L'idromassaggio della stanza andrebbe rivisto in termini di funzionalità ma nulla di irrimediabile.

una giornata da re, pulizia ottima personale gentile.. la colazione poi e stato qualcosa di favoloso, mai visto tanta qualità e abbondanza . sicuramente ci ritorneremo, forse già quest'anno stesso per i mercatini di Natale.

E' stato meraviglioso soggiornare in una fortezza medievale finemente restaurata. Il castello domina la valle regalando viste panoramiche suggestive. Le camere mantengono il fascino d'epoca senza rinunciare ai comfort moderni. Il personale è estremamente cortese, disponibile e professionale. La colazione è varia, ricca e abbondante. Il Castello di Limatola è la scelta ideale per un soggiorno fuori dal comune immerso nella storia e nel relax. La combinazione tra architettura d'epoca, la qualità del cibo e l'ospitalità dello staff ne fa una struttura di altissimo livello. Consigliato per coppie, weekend romantici, amanti delle dimore storiche ed eventi speciali.

E' stato tutto perfetto!

Dormire al Castello di Limatola significa davvero avere la sensazione, anche solo per una notte, di entrare in un altro mondo. L’atmosfera è straordinaria: il castello, gli arredi, gli ambienti, ogni dettaglio contribuisce a creare un’esperienza fuori dal comune, elegante e suggestiva. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo anche la piscina con jacuzzi in camera, perfetta per rilassarsi e godersi ancora di più la magia del luogo. Tutto è stato impeccabile: camera e ambienti estremamente puliti, personale accogliente, disponibile e professionale, sempre attento a rendere il soggiorno piacevole. Una bellissima sorpresa anche il ristorante Do Re Mi, dove abbiamo cenato durante il soggiorno: abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo, in un ambiente all’altezza del resto dell’esperienza, con un servizio curato e molto piacevole. È uno di quei posti che non si limitano a ospitarti, ma riescono a trasformare una semplice notte in un ricordo. Un’esperienza speciale che rifarei senza esitazione.

The staff made the stay wonderful. The elevator was not working, but the staff were very helpful both in getting us a room on a lower floor and helping with our luggage. The general atmosphere was amazing. The breakfasts were great.

There were lots of stairs or climbing uphill to get to the rooms. It didn't help that the elevator wasn't working for the days we were there, but there would have been lots of climbing anyway. This is to be expected in an old castle, however. Parking was available outside of the first layer of castle walls, but it was tight, as we should have expected.

Suggestiva location in un castello normanno, affascinante e accogliente. All'arrivo ci è stato proposto l'upgrade in camera King, a pari prezzo, situata nelle mura del castello anziché nella foresteria. Un tuffo nel passato seppur con tocchi di modernità.

Questa struttura racchiude in se l’essenza dell’espressione WOW. Un luogo meraviglioso di cui ci si innamora varcato l’arco di ingresso. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci.

Incredible very well restored old castle. Very nice team. Breakfast is great. Not crowded, we had the swimming pool just for us.

minor details, like not clear where to park

It’s an amazing experience to stay in one of the room of an ancient castle. Everything was perfect: AC working and clean room. I also liked the breakfast: not a usual buffet but a dedicated plate a selection of 3 cakes, bread butter ham and nutella, and you could also order one dish from the kitchen (like prosciutto crudo and bread, scrumbled eggs and guanciale, etc). All the staff was incredibly kind and tried to satisfied our requests.

Just a minor thing: the room only had a small window so not much light, but it depends on the room I guess. Not a big deal if you don’t spend much time in the room.

Magico. Location fantastica, castello millenario immerso nella natura, è possibile visitarlo tutto, veramente incredibile. La camera veramente ampia, con tutti i comfort necessari. Letto molto comodo, staff simpaticissimo e super disponibile. La strada per arrivarci anche se molto in pendenza non è assolutamente complicata. Super consigliato!

Unica pecca la sicurezza: il castello è completamente aperto giorno e notte a chiunque, quindi magari chiuderei il portone principale, almeno durante la notte.

Surely medieval

It has bugs in bed, my father got bitten on neck. The day we stayed they also had a wedding at the castle, so the restaurant inside the hotel is “not available” for guests to have dinner anymore and we had to find our own food outside. We have a suite, nevertheless the wedding was with live music till midnight, after countless complains I made to the staff since 9pm as we have a 2 year old infant that needs to sleep at that time, they did nothing about the super loud music out of our window. Told me that they can’t do anything about it. Basically a wedding would over prioritise than all the other hotel guests!!! In the evening the water stop working in the bathroom all night. The breakfast is horrible…. Like a cheap 2 star hotel breakfast.

Room was spacious and nice. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and professional. View from the castle was beautiful. I would stay again at this property.

Directions need to come earlier where to park and how to get to the castle. You park downstairs and walk up or get a service.

Spectacular 11th century castle. Beautifully restored. Staff was very professional. Bathrooms need some extra design care. Bed was comfortable and the food was lovely.

We were there on a weekend and they had a couple of events going on. This meant there was no food for regular guests available. 🤷‍♀️ We were advised to go into town where there were some restaurants. This seemed a bit lame. So we pushed and got a charcuterie board (gorgeous) for dinner. I’d recommend avoiding weekends.

Prachtige locatie in Campania! Heel mooi kasteel! Top om even uit de drukte van Napels te zijn. Personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt verzorgd en lekker. Zwembad was heerlijk om af te koelen. Een echte aanrader!

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole al Castello di Limatola. La struttura è suggestiva e ricca di atmosfera, perfetta per staccare dalla routine e vivere un’esperienza diversa dal solito. Camera accogliente e pulita, personale gentile e disponibile in ogni momento. Molto apprezzata anche la colazione e la vista panoramica sul borgo. Un luogo romantico e affascinante che consigliamo sicuramente.

L’unica piccola nota negativa è stata il letto, che scricchiolava un po’ troppo durante la notte.

Hôtel original, dans une forteresse médiévale; bien situé pour visiter Caserte; bon restaurant, service impeccable.

La configuration des lieux rend l'accès aux chambres difficile avec de nombreux bagages; personnel parfois dissipé et fort pris par la préparation d'un mariage, lors de notre séjour; restaurant un peu cher.

Amazing castle, beautifully decorated rooms, fantastic views, many places to sit and enjoy a drink. Also a nice pool for a refreshing swim. Nice restaurant.

Its a very old castle with long history

Service in the restaurant Doremi was really off. Staff was young and just playing around and no work experience. Also the property has amazing view but only one bar without views. When we asked for a drink at 19:00 they had to make an exception to serve because that closes at 19:00?! I ordered a bottle of Amarone, she opened outside and poured into dirty white wine glasses without asking to taste. Serves male first. Was no music, we had to ask. Just not the experience that we read about online. We had the presidential suite. Qua square meter is nice but the bed is only 190cm, toilet was broken and jacuzzi did not work. Its just not worth the money.

Wir hatten ein Upgrade vom Doppelzimmer auf die Präsidentensuite und haben uns für eine Nacht fühlen dürfen wie die Burgherren! Großartiges Ambiente, alles stilvoll restauriert. Es gibt im ganzen Schloss viel zu bestaunen. Das Frühstück war herausragend mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Sehr freundliche Kommunikation und Hilfe beim Gepäcktransport. Gute Betten, absolut ruhig in der Nacht! Eine sehr schöne Erfahrung auf unserer Italien-Reise.

Das Menü beim Abendessen im DoReMi (a la carte war nicht möglich) hat uns leider nicht überzeugt.

Ho conosciuto la struttura in occasione di una visita alla Reggia di Caserta, in tre abbiamo prenotato due doppie una ad uso singola, buono il parcheggio ed il servizio offerto per il trasporto dei bagagli, ottima pulizia, letto comodo, kit bagno buono come anche la fornitura del frigo bar, spazi comuni curati, attenzione nei particolari, colazione completa sia dolce che salata, non posso recensire il ristorante perché avevamo già prenotato a Caserta, ma spero di tornare presto per provarlo! Staff professionale, Tornerei volentieri!

La experiencia de estar en el castillo fue muy mágica. El desayuno, increible. Fruta, panes, croissant y tortas que llegaron tibias a la mesa. La habitación muy cómoda, lo mismo que la cama y la ducha. Gran detalle de amenities

No estaba prendido el termotanque y no podía comunicarme con la recepción, lo que ocurrió 40 minutos después de intentar bañarme. Cuando comente el inconveniente, me dijeron que igual después funcionó, pero ninguna disculpa. Si bien es hermoso, el desayunasor es fuera del castillo y tuvimos que salir a desayunar bajo la lluvia

We enjoyed every moment here. The castle’s interior is incredibly beautiful — spacious, historic, and full of charm. The rooms are very comfortable, elegant, and clean. The views all around are stunning, and the garden is wonderful as well. Breakfast is varied and absolutely delicious, and we were treated like princesses! The young man who helped with the luggage was also super friendly and always smiling. A fantastic experience! I would definitely love to come back here!

I booked this as a last minute stop on the way to Rome not knowing anything about the venue . Staying in a castle was a bucket list item for me. We were blown away by the whole experience. The castle and grounds were impeccable and the staff treated us like royalty . It was off season and we felt like we were the only ones there, although I’m sure there were other suites rented. We ate at the restaurant on site. The food was amazing. I can’t say enough about the experience. A highlight of our trip for sure.

Dit was geen overnachting, dit was een belevenis!! Hoe geweldig is het om in zo'n eeuwenoud kasteel te overnachten. We voelden ons helemaal kasteelheer en vrouw, met ons eigen personeel! We waren op 2 andere gasten na de enige die hier verbleven. We hebben de andere gasten niet gezien, dus we hadden het gevoel een heel kasteel voor onszelf te hebben. Overal zijn mooie hoekjes, kamers en halletjes waar je doorheen kunt dwalen. Dikke muren, veel mooie details. Het was geweldig. Heel vriendelijk personeel, onze koffers werden gesjouwd en we werden met een golfkarretje weer terug naar de auto gebracht. We hadden een enorm bubbelbad op de kamer, ofdat we in een Romeins badhuis zaten! Het diner was heerlijk en het ontbijt was ook helemaal geweldig. We hebben hier zo genoten!

It was a lovely nostalgic place to stay! Staff was great, kindness and helpful. Room was very clean with all extra amenities. Bed comfortable, very romantic. Decorated well and breakfast was amazing!

Все было как ожидали. Мы с друзьями путешествовали на машине, поэтому доехать было не только не проблема, но и интересно. Все было отлично, но не идеально. Постель чистый и удобный, санузел чистый, но душевая очень маленькая. Завтрак дастаточный и вкусный. Персонал приветливый. Самое главное этот отель частица натоящей Италии. В номере был запах старого помещения, но мы находились в старом замке и это естественно. Надо учесть что ресепшн работает до 19:00,но нас ждали до 22:00. Иначе за позднюю регистрацию придется доплачивать. Те кто путешествует без машины должны подумать о транспорте.

Tutto superlativo, le camere spaziose con vista stupenda, super spaziose e letto comodissimo. Come fare un tuffo nel passato, arredo elegante e raffinato un piacere per gli occhi, lo consiglio vivamente per un esperienza immersiva in un castello millenario.

The hotel is located is a historic Normand castle on top of a hill. The location is very scenic and the hotel beautifully decorated. The staff were very welcoming and the food of great quality (including breakfast). Highly recommended for travellers in the Caserta/Benevento region.
