Beautiful spot
Clyde Hall Bed and Breakfast is simply one of the best places we've ever stayed. Lisa and Robert are super friendly and welcoming, they go above and beyond to make your stay the most peaceful experience. The pool was extremely nice and had a variety of water games. They also sell their own maple syrup, which is a great souvenir option. Another excellent addition is a breakfast made by the owners. Everything was so delicious. I wish they also offered lunch and dinner options, but I understand why they only serve breakfast. The restaurants in the city are not so far away, though, and you can find chips, cookies, and popcorn in the hotel too.

Very unique, relaxing and romantic
Serenity and solitude over our 3 night stay. The history, interiors and exteriors of Clyde Hall were impressive. The amazing salt water pool, hot tub and gardens. No bugs. Lots of amenities. We were going to eat dinner in Perth a couple of times, but ended up bringing a charcuterie board back to have poolside since it was too nice to pass up. The most delicious breakfasts that changed daily. Robert and Liisa were lovely hosts. We will definitely be back!
Everything. The breakfast was brilliant. Had a fabulous stay.
Robert & Lisa were very attentive hosts. Fabulous location & house

A Truly Royal Experience at Clyde Hall Bed and Breakfast Staying at Clyde Hall was nothing short of magical. The estate is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of character — a perfect escape. The highlight was the absolutely exquisite breakfast — truly a royal affair. Every detail, from the elegant table setting and ambient music to the flawless service, made us feel like we were dining in a castle. The entire aesthetic and physical experience was deeply refined and thoughtfully curated. The owners were incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. An unforgettable stay — we can’t wait to return!
Excellent stay! Robert and Lisa were amazing hosts. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and more than I expected. The home was just beautiful. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. We rented the loft and it was perfect for our family. Wouldn't hesitate recommending Clyde Hall or returning. It was just a wonderful experience.
Pristine and elegant! Hosts greeted us even before we entered the front door. The room is exceptional in every detail.
An incredible experience! So authentic! Canada and Ontario at their best! The decorations were stunning, and the building itself was beautiful, designed in a charming local style. If you want to see how people live here and what their homes are like, this is the perfect place. It also has that special old-English atmosphere!

Clyde Hall is a beautiful property with beautiful hosts. I can't recommend to friends and family how wonderful our stay was. Breakfast was exceptional as well as our very attentive hosts. Loved our stay!
That we couldn't stay longer. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.
Beautifully restored house on a wonderful property.

Family-run bed and breakfast with a lovely host. Rooms were very authentic and detailed-driven with a personal touch. Breakfast was very good, fresh and with lots of choices. Pool very close by in a beautiful nature setting
Price is high but you get a lot for it, beds were not the most comfortable
Highly recommended
We felt totally rejuvenated after being in this gorgeous, tranquil B&B for just 24 hours. Our hosts spoiled and ampered us and our breakfast was 5 star. You have to to yes to their maple bacon! It is the perfect spot for a girl's getaway lounging in the pool and reading good books in the hot tub and on the pool deck. We give this beautiful oasis a 10/10
Beautiful grounds and excellent breakfast!
We went for 2 nights to get away and to celebrate a 65th birthday. This lovely home is tucked away and we almost missed the turn in driveway. As it's getting close to Christmas the house is fully decorated inside and it's elegant and cozy. Our hosts were Robert and Lisa and you couldn't want for more welcoming or accommodating people. We had booked the room with the King size bed and it's in a little house next door to the main house by itself. Every attention to detail has been provided. The privacy is lovely and we had a hot tub right outside the door. It was a frosty but lovely weekend. We used that hot tub 3 times, two evenings and one morning. The evenings were clear and cold but the moon and stars were shining and that hot tub was beautiful in a lovely setting and was truly a memorable highlight. Breakfast is served in a spacious and elelgant dining room. They have several offerings such as fritatta, eggs benedict, pancakes, waffles and french toast. As I don't partake that kind of breakfast, and prefer a more continental style, they very kindly created a breakfast charcuterie with meats, cheeses, fruits as well as the lightest, flakiest croissants ever! This was after being served tiny bowls of vanilla yogurt studded with strawberries and blueberries. So thoughtfilly and beautifully presented. Also there was orange juice and coffee or tea. I was told they had never had anyone ask for a continental breakfast before. I guess they will now. This was one of the best getaways we've ever had and we will definitely be back!
The only thing is the wifi doesn't work in the house with the king sized bed but that is just the smallest thing. The owners have thought of everything anyone could want for a get away from home. There is nothng we didn't like. We loved it all!
Gorgeous house ! We felt pampered from the moment we entered, with everything we could ever need provided :) Hosts were lovely and very attentive .
Excellent b&b. Robert and Lisa are fantastic hosts. Breakfast is exceptional and the rooms are so comfy, large and clean. This is our second time back and will definitely be back for a third.
Beautiful decor lovely hosts. Breakfast is great.
Great place for an overnight trip from Toronto or Ottawa. Rob and his wife are super friendly and the property is worth the trip just for it's old world elegance and charm.
We paid for the maple syrup we purchased and were happy to do so.
I forgot to specify that I am very sensitive to perfumes and scented products. Nevertheless, it didn't affect me very much.
Great hospitality from hosts, beautiful spot…would return in a heartbeat
A highly recommended choice for a relaxing weekend. The owners were very welcoming and the rooms and common areas were spotless. The breakfast we had each morning was also top notch. We also enjoyed the pool and grounds. A great find for a weekend getaway.
It felt so luxurious and peaceful and welcoming.
It was perfect - can’t think of a thing to improve.
Breakfast - amazing tailored to our dietary needs
Absolutely beautiful and lovely people. They’ve thought of everything! Delicious breakfast.
Beautiful home amazing breakfast they thought about every little detail to make you stay comfortable
We stayed one night at this property which is easily accessible from Highway 7. Lovely old property meticulously renovated and decorated with period pieces. The room was comfortable and large. The breakfast was outstanding with specially prepared bacon, and eggs benedict. The hosts were more than helpful and informative. The property has large grounds for walking. Excellent in every respect. Wished we could have stayed longer!
All great!
Beautifullly restored historic home. The hosts were wonderful. Breakfasts were exceptional.
Words can't express, see the photos. Amazing host, hospitality and yummy breakfast!
Everything was perfect! Rob & Lisa are the best hosts and they go above and beyond making your stay memorable. It felt like home. One of the prettiest places in ontario for sure.
The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Very nice place to stay and the owners were very helpful and welcoming ! Will for sure return again !
Such a beautiful location with welcoming hosts. It was so relaxing! We throughly enjoyed our time and would definitely return.
Great retreat in Lanark. We needed some downtime after a difficult move and we were treated to a relaxing restful stay. Host Robert was at our beck and call. We stayed in the pool suite which was lovely, quiet and restful. The morning breakfast was exceptional. Covid 19 rules were strictly enforced, but did not hamper our enjoyment in any way.
Outstanding breakfast! Is it possible for a bathroom to be too large? Wonderful stay.
A real find — beautifully restored grand old stone home. Highly recommended!
Beautiful, relaxing setting. Outstanding service- friendly and accommodating. Superb breakfast!
Such a beautiful place to spend the last two days and use as a home base to explore the towns in this area. Our hosts could not have been better, the Inn and grounds were stunning, and the breakfasts served both days held us through till dinner. Definately worth the trip and we will have to go back because we forgot to get some of the Clyde Hall house made Maple Syrup. Norma and Bryan Newmarket ON
