Il bagno aveva la finestra con possibilità di chiusura quasi totale, ma è stato necessario lasciarla aperta altrimenti odorava in maniera sgradevole.

Amazing value for money, they could be charging more for this space. There are 2 beds, big balcony and a kitchenette with kettle and fridge. Nice big bright room. Hot shower. Good location near the lake. We extended our stay :)

Big spacious room, good air-conditioning, big kitchen space with fridge and kettle. Cups and plates for you to use. Nice balcony. Comfortable bed. Hosts easy to get in touch with as they were just in the building below.

L'emplacement au calme et à 15 minutes à pied du centre. La literie confortable et propre. Les petites bouteilles d'eau, le papier toilette, le petit savon, les petites sachets de thé et de café et les serviettes. La douche chaude et avec un super débit 👌🏻 La wifi qui fonctionne très bien. Le rapport qualité -prix👍🏻

Le frigo aurait besoin d'un petit nettoyage à l'intérieur. Nombreuses fourmis dans la kitchenette.

The room is big, bright with a large balcony and a nice view. Kitchen is good as well. You have your own private entrance and dont have to meet anyone during the stay. We can recommend, it is a nice place to stay in Kandy.

The fridge and light in the bathroom didn't work. The accomodation is a bit further from the centre for a walk, but you can take the tuk-tuk.

Ich kann die Unterkunft Crystal Lake nicht wirklich bewerten, denn bei Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, man hätte keinen Platz für uns und das obwohl wir 4 Wochen im Voraus gebucht hatten. Nach 5h Anreise mit altem Vater und kleinem Kind war das wirklich doof. Sie haben uns dann in einem anderen Hotel ein Stück weiter die Straße runter unterbringen können und haben das dort teurere Zimmer bezahlt bzw die Differenz. Diese Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit des Personals von Crystal Lake macht es dann wieder gut. Es kann ja mal passieren mit Doppeltbuchungen, es wurde sich gut um uns gekümmert und wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt in Kandy.

Kann ich nicht sagen, da ich nicht im Crystal lake eincheckte.

Enjoyed our stay here. Such a lovely, spacious room with balcony overlooking beautiful views of Kandy. Comfortable bed and little kitchenette which was quite handy to have. Owner was lovely. Would happily stay here again.

Bathroom is slightly small with the shower and toilet being close together but didn’t really hinder our experience.

We had a good stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. It definitely offered great value for the price. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything worked smoothly during our stay. If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly place to stay, this is a solid option.

Perfect for one night in Kandy. Easy walk to Kandy Lake and Temple of the Tooth. Private suite up a staircase. Has a small fridge and kitchen area with kettle and coffee or tea supplies. Good AC and a fan and a hot shower. Simple accommodations perfect for one night with two beds. Good communication with host and about 300 LKR on PickMe to the Train/Bus station.

The bathroom door doesn't close properly but that's minor.

Well, it's the only room in a house where the owners are hard to contact. But that could be a plus, depending on your attitude.

The location was perfect, close to walk everywhere we needed but far enough away from the hustle and bustle for a peaceful night and also a balcony to enjoy the views and peace from. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, highly recommend

Very close to the lake in a nice and green uphill road, less than 15min from temple tooth. Comfy and clean, with very nice staff.

Nobody gave me any tips or explanations of wifi, payment. I was alone in the house. I am not sure there are more then one room.

The place was a little difficult to find. The sign should be moved over to the right so that it is easier to identify. We went to the wrong door to start with. Also I'm not sure why is it called a resort. It is just a room with an ok lookout.

It was not bad, but also not good. The accommodation definitely needs maintenance.

The room is very spacious (we used it with two) and has everything you need. For us it was perfect to have a sink and a little fridge to prepare own breakfast. Also there is a big balcony, which is really nice to sit on and observe the monkeys :) The host was also quite helpful and friendly, but you had a lot of privacy! Its 15 minutes walking distance to the centre, always along the lake, so we really enjoyed the location of it.

A mosquito net would be great, even if we havent had many during our stay. and maybe few more bowls/cutlery.

My family of three stayed here for one day, and our experience was superb. The hotel is located in a calm environment, free from noise, yet conveniently close to the town just far enough to feel peaceful but not too far for easy access. It will be bit confusing to find the place at once but there's name board on the wall. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a vacation. We chose not to interact much with the owner as we preferred privacy, and our needs were met without disturbance. The spacious triple room was well-ventilated, featuring two comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a fan. The room was clean, neatly arranged, and equipped with a small kitchen, some cooking equipment, and a mini fridge. While the bathroom was a bit cramped, it was functional, with hot water and everything in working order. Overall, it was well worth the price, and we were satisfied with our stay. I highly recommend this place for small families looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot.

Location All amenities in room except iron was not there and we didn't want to ask the host again as their helper was always busy. AC is bit outdated just surviving Water pressure was a lot that it hurt in toilet and the space in toilet was not sufficient

Lack of warmth and reception by hosts and very secluded behaviour, we always felt we were disturbing them if we ever needed to call or visit them for any help or guidance needed because of their cold responses.

Mostly clean and quiet, and close to the lake. R Room had small fridge to store food.

Almost no places to get meals within walking distance. Some cleaning between occupants was missed, such as used soap in shower soap holder. Wifi in room was not providing internet access, though they were able to provide alternative wifi with working internet.

Stayed overnight at Crystal lake. GPS directions from booking.com were close but out by a few houses. Property is further up hill by 300 metres. Room guy met me. Enough room for my car in front of property. Room up stairs. 2 beds, single and double. Fan and aircon. Wifi good. Kitchen area as you enter room. Small fridge, sink, kettle. Kettle was faulty so guy replaced. Bed was comfortable. 300m to nice cafe on main road. About 1.2 KMs into town. About 15 min walk.

Bathroom was small compared to bedroom. Not much room when sitting on toilet. Shower has low shower outlet. Had to make sure doors were closed as Monkeys everywhere. I gave a 7 because of bathroom, but stay was ok for overnight trip to Kandy. Tv no go.

I booked an upstairs room with the balcony, but I didnt get it. I got an downstairs one, which was very dark. And had doors to the owners place, so I could hear TV, their talk ….everything. Beside the house is a school, and the kids played every morning football and were really noisy.

Clean and spacious apartment with 1 comfortable double bed and 1 single bed, hot shower, towels, toilet paper, AC and fan, Moskito net. Kitchenette with electric kettle and fridge. Quiet location close to the lake and a bus station or a 15min walk into town. We paid 15$ a night which is worth it. Everything was as described or shown on the pictures. Easy check-in and check-out procedure, definitely recommend.

Nothing to complain about. The kitchenette could be improved with a little more cooking facilities, but for us it was perfectly fine and it was more than we expected.

We booked here for two nights and loved how cozy the space was. Everything was just how we expected.

Room was a good size and very spacious with a kitchenette within the room which was really handy. Balcony was nice to sit on albeit slightly small. Staff were friendly. Location was good for a slightly quite stay as it was about a 20 minute walk round the lake from the centre of town.

Unfortunately there was an issue with our room upon arrival as we were told something needed to be fixed. Originally we were offered to stay at their other hotel however this would of only been for one night and we would have to come back for our second night. We must of looked quite disappointed this to which they said we could fix the issue but we would have to wait 30 minutes. Also we were woken at 1am on our first night by the AC unit dripping water onto our faces!!

Great place, friendly staff, had a room with private bathroom and there is hot water available. the room was very clean and well kept. There's a small kitchen for the apartment and nice to having a fridge and kettle. It's a less than 5 min walk to the lake. TV and free Wi-Fi available. Worth for the money.

Hosts had difficulties with getting things clear with the website. They either did not understand the fact that we did book a room in advance or could not see it. They just kept us outside with bags for 10 mins. In the evening we again had to wait for them to open the gates they closed because of the dog, although we repeatedly asked to let us in as we were not afraid of the lovely dog. They simply did not care. Bedsheets did not seem very clean.

Only stayed for one day and night, but enjoyed having a little "apartment", with a small kitchen and lovely balcony! Perfect location, we saw everything we needed to on foot, just needed tuktuk to get to train station next day.
