Rancho Caymus Inn

We loved staying at Rancho Caymus! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was made to order for each individual and was all delicious. There was so much comfort and charm while still be modern in all the places that matter (the bathroom). Every night we were there, a different winery came in and offered free tastings at 5:30. We walked over to Rutherford Grill for dinner on 2 occasions and everything we had there was great. Even the little taqueria across the street made perfect street tacos while providing any convenience store items we needed.

Price and location was good.

Room was spacious and comfortable. We loved the ethnic market across the street for provisions and snacks for the room. Breakfast on site was delicious. The pool area was relaxing. Loved the evening fires.

Rancho Caymus Inn was such an incredible hotel experience. The staff was extremely attentive. Shout out to DJ- he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The rooms are extremely clean, with a cozy ambiance, and included breakfast was delicious. It's conveniently located to reach any point in Napa Valley. It instantly became a very special place for us and we will definitely come back to celebrate future anniversaries. Would recommend to all friends and family!

A picturesque facility with a lot of old world charm, despite being fairly new. Very nice sleeping rooms with living areas. Attractive courtyard with pool and spa. Breakfasts were good, although could have been a bit more generous with the portions. Enjoyed the free evening wine tastings. Great location!

What an elegant property! Gracious and genuine welcome even before we arrived. Childhood friends gathered for a wine tasting/catch up trip and we could not have selected a better place to stay. From the furnishings to the front desk staff to the housekeeping team to the complimentary breakfast service…..12 out of 10!!! Treat yourself and enjoy!!!

Great Location. However, be careful Not to order more than 3 items at Breakfast...as they Will Charge you for it...very cheesy way to run a business. Susan and Reagan are very helpful...the manager is NOT.

One of our favorite resorts in the world. Grounds are amazing. Location cant be beat. Never overcrowded because they don't have many rooms. Staff couldn't be nicer. Great breakfast. Monica is the best. The only bad thing is when we have to leave. We just don't want to go. Highly recommend.

Chilled vibe. Very nice rooms, more traditional but stylish, pretty good size. Largely comfortable. People are super nice and helpful. Coffee station is ok. But no particularly generous. Some elements of the furnishings are a bit outdated, but cool.

The place, the campus is much smaller than expected. If anything it feels a little claustrophobic. When I walked into the lobby it felt more like a motel than a refined, quite expensive Napa Valley resort. It is right next to an industrial wine processing facility. Beside a small pool and a pretty nice hot tub there are no other amenities. The breakfast is included. That is nice. But nothing to write home about.

Beautiful boutique hotel staffed with wonderful people! Sue and DJ are delightful, as are the rest of the team! Betty was so friendly and engaging as was the breakfast staff! Perfect location, quaint and well appointed, with lovely weekend wine tastings, cozy fire pits, and plenty of space to work or relax. We will definitely be back!

The Hotel is perfect,located close to a Market and Restaurant ,and just a few minutes minutos driving from Napa Valley downtown,very clean and quiet ,staff very friendly and helpful and the best part free breakfast in the morning,and the quality is amazing,I recommend to everyone,We really had a good time at this hotel and definitely come back .

Rancho Camus is a wonderful boutique hotel. Rooms were nicely appointed, very clean and hotel staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was great each morning and the cleaning staff kept things tidy.

It was clean, updated, cozy. We stayed during the winter and it was rainy and cool, the in room fireplace was such a nice touch. The rooms were oversized and well appointed. The made to order breakfast was great and we don’t usually eat breakfast. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We stayed 4 nights at Rancho Caymus Inn for our 35th anniversary trip, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The property is warm, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was 100% clean, the bed was perfect, and the facilities were excellent. Breakfast was included and truly a highlight—fresh, delicious, and exactly what we wanted each morning. The staff was outstanding: kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it. 10 / 10

As it was when we stayed here last year the staff was super friendly and helpful (shout out to DJ - hope you have a good time in Texas), the rooms were super clean and well appointed. Every morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast that was a great way to start the morning. I usually stuck with the scrambled eggs and bacon but will say the sausage was just as good. They offered Peet’s coffee for their Keurig (wonderful as I didn’t have to use my aeropress) and also wine tastings from small, local wineries in the afternoons. We look forward to our return trip (likely this time next year)

Our stay at Rancho Caymus Inn was great! Our room was cozy, clean and roomy. I appreciated the attention to detail in the bathroom, like an oversized bath mat, strong water pressure and a ceiling heater. The room was nicely appointed as well. The staff were so pleasant and offered to assist us over text and at check-in. The made to order breakfast offered was very nice and we particularly enjoyed the muffins, pastries and bacon. Yum! Overall, I would recommend this boutique hotel to family and friends visiting Napa 10/10.

We stayed here 12/14 and this place is very charming and was renovated a few years ago. It’s beautiful with large rooms and includes breakfast. We will have to come back soon to try the wine Tastings offered daily which we missed! Close by many wineries in St. Helena! Great service by Sue!

The inn was perfect. Well appointed, friendly staff, comfortable beds, great shower pressure and breakfast was delicious. The inn is also located in a great place , very convenient for everything we wanted to do.

The charm and history was beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the morning we checked out Sue and the staff made us feel like we were at home and helped with all of our requests. It was nice to be close to all of ours wine tasting and walking distance to Rutherford Grill (great service and food) for dinner. Would recommend it highly. We had Suite 200 which was amazing and we will return. Super clean and quiet (might hear FD alarm) but only last a couple of minutes. Pool and jacuzzi are nice with fire pits for setting around at night with a glass of wine.

We loved the original woodwork, fireplaces throughout hotel and the beds were very comfortable. Our room was so nice and had plenty of space for us to relax together.

The breakfast was always delicious but should offer more options like adding French toast or pancakes.

The staff were v nice.

Our room, which was the best in the property, overlooked the cp at the side of the hotel, and had a large a/c directly below. The room style was all old heavy wood, very old fashioned.

We stay with you several times a year for our restaurant’s wine business. Always a great experience we have stayed here for many years, before and after remodel.

Rancho Caymus Inn is a charming little gem in the wine country. Perfectly situated in Rutherford, about halfway between Yountville and St. Helena, it is very close to dozens of top restaurants and wineries. In fact, BV Winery and Rutherford Grill are next door on opposite sides. The hotel is beautifully appointed. It has a European feel with lots of wood finishes. Rooms are large, with beamed ceilings and large sitting areas. All have private patios. There are lovely sitting areas throughout the property. A nice, well-maintained pool, in-ground spa and fire tables add to the ambiance. A tasty made-to-order breakfast is included. Everyone who works at Rancho Caymus is friendly, helpful and professional. All in all, a 5-star experience.

The room and the hotel are wonderful. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff was on top of every request. The Inn was a great “home base” for the weekend. The pool and hot tub were a great way to end the day before getting ready for dinner.

We expected a more luxury feel according to the photos and pricing. It was ok but we felt it lacked a true luxury feel. The breakfast service was not great. Location is great. Very convenient to lots of restaurants and art galleries.

This property was awesome. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the best we have had in a while. The property is older but has a ton of charm and well kept. I think the location was great being between yountville and st Helena. Rutheford grill you can walk to. The tacos at the Mexican market next door are really good. We will stay here again.

This was our first stay at a boutique hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is beautiful and the staff are just wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and the property has so many areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful CA outdoors. We enjoyed the cook to order breakfast every morning and spent evenings in the pool area. The location is perfect for exploring Napa Valley. I highly recommend this place and will stay here again in a heartbeat.

Just what we needed! Beautiful and quiet setting in a traditional Spanish style boutique hotel, with literally everything we asked for: large room, beautiful shower, relaxing courtyard spaces, nice pool and hot tub. Could not have asked for more! And the staff was welcoming and went out of their way for whatever we needed. Would def recommend !

Overall, very pleased about our accommodations. Very well kept property and room, the breakfast was phenomenal. Host/Concierge D.J. was tremendous. 2 rather important issues: 1) No available night lighting(Bathroom light immediately turned off after 2 minutes); 2) The steps down to sitting area were a hazard(I took a very hard fall in middle of the night due to inability to see steps because of lightning. Ended up injured rather badly.

Stunning courtyard with well maintained pool and hot tub. Made to order breakfast is 10/10. Rooms are beautiful inside and room service is excellent. Everything seemed new. Staff was very friendly and we appreciated the wine tastings offered!

I had two restless nights. The air conditioner is loud and switches on and off frequently. Truck engines were roaring at 2:30 am and 3:30 am, along with trucks beeping while backing up for the vineyard business next door. There was also a loud "air raid-like" signal at 7:00 am. Besides the disturbed sleep, the room has bad lighting (orangey-yelIow bulbs) that made the room uncomfortably dark. Also, I suggest you bring a nightlight. Other than that, the breakfast was good but room coffeemaker makes better coffee. The pool area is nice with some firepits. Plus the parking is free.
