Très bel établissement et très bien situé pour prendre bus ou métro. Logement très bien équipé et très propre. L'accueil était super chaleureux, les propriétaires très à l'écoute et disponible. Nous avons passé un super séjour. Je recommande à 100 %

No Air Conditioning!! The room was at 35 Celsius when we arrived with no way of cooling it down apart from keeping the windows open all the time. Shower wouldn’t stay at a certain temperature; kept going hot then cold. Water had a strange, almost metal smell. Double bed was two singles pushed together, which kept slipping apart during the night (creating a gap between them) Walls were paper thin; you could hear everything happening in the other rooms. The hallway had an ant infestation, along with the main corridor door would not lock properly. Gate for parking area was stuck open meaning anyone could walk in Owner charged us €25 in ‘Tourist Taxes’ which is not included in the booking.com price for the room. (We have stayed in Comines before and never had to pay any extra fees apart from those included in the total from booking.com)

Er was van alles kapot. Gewoon slecht onderhouden. Deuren en kastjes die niet goed sloten, alle wc brillen los, stoel kapot en stoel onstabiel, salontafel met losse poot, jammer dat er geen horren waren, zonwering in de kamer zou ook niet verkeerd zijn. Het was er erg benauwd. Douchegordijn hing 20 cm boven badrand!! 3 Slaapkamers en maar één goed bed. De rest echt véél te zacht of véél te hard. Vieze koelkast, haren in lades, vuile afwas in vaatwasser. Jammer, want het zou zoveel mooier kunnen zijn als het beter werd onderhouden en beter werd schoongemaakt.

Nous avons aimé le lieu propice à une réunion de familles. Les hôtes sont top ! Pas de contraintes de nettoyage, bon nous avons nettoyé la vaisselle et rangé, la base. L accueil !

The main issue during our stay was the water. Both in the bathroom and from the kitchen tap it had a very strong unusual odor (metallic or oil-like), which made showering and using the water very uncomfortable. We reported the problem during our stay, but unfortunately it was not resolved. Because of this, we had to buy bottled water for daily use. The sofa bed in the living room was also very squeaky and not comfortable to sleep on. The overall cleanliness was acceptable but could definitely be improved. Additionally, communication stopped after the issue was reported, and the property did not respond to Booking’s requests regarding the problem.

Je loue régulièrement un ou plusieurs gîtes du Triporteur, pour mon groupe d'étudiants architectes/urbanistes/paysagistes, qui travaille sur le territoire transfrontalier, dans le cadre du Parc Bleu de l'Eurométropole. Nous sommes à chaque fois très satisfaits, les logements sont très confortables, l'emplacement est pratique, il y a un bus devant la porte, la gare de Comines juste à coté, un parking, un grand hangar pour mettre de 15 à 30 vélos... La proximité d'un supermarché est pratique aussi pour les étudiants. L'accueil est ponctuel et efficace ! un grand merci... on va surement encore revenir !!

This is a very large spacious property that is very tastefully furnished. Great location and despite being on a main road nice and quiet due to being in a small close.

Cela fait 3 fois que venons au Triporteur, l’emplacement nous convient, le parking sécurisé ainsi que la fonctionnalité et les équipements du logement 👌

Gezellig appartement, waar alles voorzien is. Keuken voorzien met alles erop en eraan. Makkelijk bereikbaar.

Zetelbed was wat versleten eb doorgelegen. Geen airco. Temperatuur viel voor ons wel mee, maat met hogere temperaturen kan het wel benauwd worden.

Schone kamers en goed uitgeruste keuken. Vriendelijk personeel en gratis parkeren op de accomadatie was een plus punt.

The receptionist was very friendly and really helpful everything from where to eat to where to wash the car 🚗 😋

I have no faults this let was fantastic

The property was clean and well presented. The host was lovely.

The noise level made the property unacceptable and we left after one night of our paid for two night stay. You can hear the footsteps of the people in the floor above, the stairwell was noisy with the comings and goings of people and two tenants had very noisy cars.

When other people are in the building the sound does travel.

We were visiting friends in Menen, and this accomodation in Comines is only 10 mins away. The accomodation itself is conveniently located, the end of the road (about half mile) is the town itself with restaurants, shops and church (market on Monday with excellent roast chicken). The other end of the road to the left has a Lidl and petrol station. The property is gated and uses a key fob. It has a car park enough for about 8 cars. We stayed at the top floor with the 3 loft windows (on the picture). The property was bright and airy, well-kept and clean. Has a dishwasher and nespresso machine w/ free coffee pods. Lots of crockeries. Check out is 11am w/c is good.

Just some pointers, but these will not deter us coming back again. The steps of the stairs are narrow for adult shoes so need to be careful especially when going down. And it is steep especially for little children so be careful, could do with a bannister/handle bar. The master's bedroom could be more spacious and airy by removing the big wardrobe that stands in the middle (it serves as a vanity on one side and headboard for the bed on the other side). There is only small space to pass from the bedroom door to either sides of the bed. The master's bed are 2 single beds together which makes a big bed (king) but the mattress toppers are also single so there is a gap in the middle. The toilet is opposite the master's and both doors open outwards so be careful when opening doors. For those w/ children, the windows do not have window restrictors but it can open 2-ways, you just have to fiddle w/ the handle and it will crack open the top part or the side. I wish they have instructions for these. The shower is inside the master's and has a bi-folding door. If you are with children, make sure to leave it crack open as it can be difficult to open at times.

Perfect location and beautiful apartment

Renovated, bright, super clean, cozy apartment, equipped with everything what is needed for 5 persons family. The owner is very nice and helpful. Parking lot on the premises.

Some topics would need attention: - most doors don´t have locks, that´s not practical when you travel with friends and want some privacy - the staircase to the flat is quite steep, which is a challenge with a children's carriage - we were there when it was 32 degrees outside, however inside it felt even warmer, and A/C would not be a luxury here

Everything was fine, location OK, apartment OK. a good place to stay as a base for a few nights supermarket's 1 way, small town the other. Rooms are OK but just need a nit of care to update, but overall a good stay and would use again.

The host was super friendly, stayed in contact with us on our journey, and met us upon arrival. The apartment was very clean and perfect for a long-weekend visiting the battlefields and museums of the First World War. There was a dishwasher and fully-equipped kitchen, a comfy sitting room with an extra sofa bed and two bedrooms, towels and bedding were provided. The local area is very nice, with a supermarket within walking distance and there was secure parking on site. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice little apartment to settle into for the weekend. The kitchen has nice space with a good size fridge/freezer and oven/stove, all in working order. The apartment was comfortable for the two of us. We did not try out the sleeper sofa.

My husband and I are not big people, but I will say the shower is very tiny, although the bathroom is a good size and very clean. A good knife set is needed.

Clean, modern 2 bedroom apartment. Everything you could need to make meals and be comfortable. Ample off-road parking. 20 mins to Ypres and surrounding WW1 sites.
