The Great Rayong Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. If we come back to Rayong, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

Helt ok boende..nära till stränderna.ok frukost....

Jättetrevlig personal som hjälpte till med vad vi än behövde. Rent och fräscht men lite slitet. Väldigt lyhört dessvärre. Kändes lite avsides men ligger utanför Ban Phe så det går inte att förvänta sig mer liv och rörelse.

Very quiet lovely beach, night watchman not very friendly or helpful. Hotel okay

Basic accommodation. Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. (Maybe because it was low season? Other reviewers seemed to love it.) Just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Very family friendly. Nice pool area.

I like that it is close to the beach and has a swimming pool as well.

Great location. Near beach and 7-eleven without the noise. The rooms are a bit outdated. Air-conditioning smelly and noisy in my room. Breakfast fixed set only plus Instant coffee and toast. Can overhear all that is going on in room next to yours. Hotel might not be suitable for families. Pool and area clean and nice.

We rented 2 rooms at the property. The upsides were the staff was very friendly, there was breakfast, the beds were comfortable, the pool area was nice, and it was within walking distance of the beach and lots of food. The negatives were the cleanliness wasn't great. Breakfast tasted good but the eggs are undercooked and didn't make us feel well after. The hotel rooms are not maintained. One room had a toilet that kept running and an air conditioner thats flap was taped up, the other room had a water heater that didn't always work and a sink drain that was mostly clogged. All of the furniture was also very worn down. Overall because of the friendliness of the staff, free breakfast, price and location, i would stay there again. Those are just things that need to be improved

Man får inget mer än det man betalar. AC:n lät som ett tröskverket. Poolen var grumlig. Frukosten var inget märkvärdigt men kaffet var okej, läget jättebra, så vi är nöjda, hade inte räknat med något bättre.

Sehr karg ausgestattet. Kein Tisch,kein Stuhl, kein Kleiderbügel. Die Dame an der Rezeption: super hilfsbereit, gut zu verstehen ,toll!! Sauber machen während des Aufenthaltes, putzen, Betten machen etc: oh nein. Aber: das Zimmer wurde sehr sauber vorgefunden. Lage und Preis sehr gut

My sister and I had a great stay at the Great Rayong Hotel. It is located close to a bicycle or scooter rental place if you want to get to Ban Phe ferry terminal. One of the front desk ladies has great English and was able to coordinate a minibus back to Bangkok to pick us up right near the hotel. 5 stars for her hospitality and help! I would come back here because of the location, price, and service.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße und ist Einfach , für den Preis gut und die Zimmer sauber ,Frühstück ( Buffet) ist annehmbar, der Pool ist klein aber okay zum Strand sind es 100 bis 150 m über die Uferstraße am Strand sind liegen und Tische das Essen ist etwas teuer aber ausgezeichnet

For the price it’s good. Nothing luxurious about it, but if we were looking for that, we would also need to pay at least triple the price. Good location with only a very short walk to the beach. Close to 7-11. The area is very quiet during the weekdays but a bit more lively with Thai tourists during the weekends.

Love that family room is two separate rooms connecting and the water bottle provided in each room was a plus. The old box analog TV could definitely be upgraded to cable like the other room though

Nous avions séjourné il y a 2 ans dans cet hôtel et on l’avait trouvé bien. Cette année, nous sommes très déçus . le personnel ne fait pas respecter les consignes à certains clients qui en prennent à leur aise : bruyants jusque tard, sales , squattent la piscine et laissent leurs restes de repas au bord, rentrent dégoulinant d’eau alors qu’Il y a un panneau qui l’ interdit, les tables au bord de la piscine ne sont débarrassées des restes de repas toute la journée. C’est sale !!! Petit déjeuner, pas terrible, quand la cafetière est vide , il faut réclamer et idem pour les toasts. . Les lits sont durs et les draps n’ont pas été changés pendant les 12 jours ne notre séjour. On serait partis si la totalité de notre séjour n’a été débité en totalité bien avant notre arrivée. Hôtel à fuir durant les vacances scolaires des thaïlandais. La plage à proximité et sur plusieurs kilomètres est très, très sale : on est piqué de partout Karaoké le soir à proximité !!!

Tutustuminen alueeseen. Alue todella rauhallinen. Muutama ruokapaikka, jotka edulliset. Mopolla näet aluetta. Ranta monta km pitkä, joka tällä hetkellä tosi likainen. Jätteet tulleet mereltä??

Hotelli oli siisti ja huone tilava. Allasalue muuten mukava mutta altaan vesi oli välillä sameaa. Hotellissa maittava aamiainen ja toimiva wi-fi. Lähialueet melko hiljaisia. Ranta pitkä ja matala, lapsiperheille erittäin hyvä. Rannan puusto oli havupuumainen, palmuja harvassa :(

Air conditioner does not work well. The refrigerator sounds noisy. Bed sheets and pillows smell. It is noisy to hear the sound of the next room. エアコンがあまり良く効かない。 冷蔵庫の音がうるさい。 ベッドのシーツと枕が臭い。 隣の部屋の音が聞こえてうるさい。

Petit hôtel agréable , piscine et proche de la mer

Bra hotell då det ligger i den billigare prisklassen. Personalen kunde inte mycket engelska men var fortfarande serviceminded. Lite längre ner på gatan låg en restaurang som heter Maja, rekommenderas varmt

The room is clean ,but toilet bad smell Extra bed quite simple , wifi ok quiet place also good parking . Reception quite friendly ,and breakfast is very good Taste . There is swimming pool too small but ok with resonable price with TV inside room

Multi-tasking Receptionist Chris was fantastic - so welcoming, friendly and helpful - as I witnessed when she helped others at check-in as well as myself. She even made me feel good about having to walk up 4 flights as there is no elevator ! Quite a girl !! A credit to her hotel .... but the hotel NEEDS better signage esp in the dark as neither the road or small turning sign is illuminated and taxis etc don’t know it, nor do many locals ...

Great hotel.Staff was very helpful and a free breakfast. The hotel has no elevator yet, but it was under construction during our stay. Nice and quiet location.
